Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the man-hour of terminal processing by introducing a prescribed arrangement and thermal fusion of wire at the stage of wire manufacturing. CONSTITUTION:A reed screen-shaped flat cable 1 which consists of a thermal fusion part 2 and a non-fusion part 3 is provided at a pitch of the prescribed length of a product in the longitudinal direction as shown in figure (A). The reed screen-shaped cable 4 with a sheath which is applied on the outside of the flat cable 1 is made as shown in figure (B). The cable 4 is cut in the prescribed length of the product and a thermal fusion part 2 is completed at one end of the cable 4 as shown in figure (C). The other end of the cable 4 is arranged at random to make the thermal fusion and come into pressure-contact with a connector, and thus a cable 6 with connectors is obtained. In this way, the man-hour of terminal processing can be reduced because of no need of checking a wire number of dot marks on the wire.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION (Subject of the Invention) The present invention changes the way of thinking in order to reduce the number of man-hours for arranging wire rods in a predetermined array when processing a cable with a connector using a pressure welding connector method. The present invention relates to a cable and a cable with a connector that enable a significant cost reduction by performing predetermined arrangement and heat fusion at the time of wire manufacturing.

(Conventional technology and its problems) Traditionally, wiring has been properly aligned (not random)
When connecting wire rods that have been made, the method is to cut a sheathed flat cable at the heat-sealed part and connect connectors to both ends to manufacture a cable shell with connectors (see Figure 3).
However, when manufacturing a randomly arranged cable with connectors as shown in Figure 4, a long wire is cut to the specified product length and the sheath is stripped from both ends. (See Figure 6). Next, both ends of the wire rods are arranged in a predetermined random arrangement (see FIG. 5) and fixed by heat fusion (see FIG. 7). Finally, the connector is pressure-welded to the wire.

Cables with connectors are manufactured using the manufacturing process described above, but the process of arranging both ends of the wires in a predetermined arrangement and heat-sealing them requires a large amount of man-hours and is a bottleneck in reducing costs. It had become.

Next, the second invention is a method in which the arrangement and fusing of both ends of the wire are performed from the beginning at the time of manufacturing the wire, and the desired length direction of the flat cable is made by repeating the fused part and the non-fused part. A sheath is applied to the outside of modified sudare-shaped flat cables that are arranged in a predetermined random arrangement, with pitches that are almost the same as the product length pitch, and arranged so that the odd and even pitches are symmetrical, A cable and a cable with a connector characterized in that the fused portion is cut to a predetermined product length pitch, the outer sheath is stripped, and both ends are made of the fused portion.

FIG. 1 shows the first embodiment of the present invention. In the examples, (a), (b), (c), and (d) respectively show step-by-step explanatory diagrams of each manufacturing process. (A) is a tapered flat cable consisting of a heat-fused part and a non-fused part at a pitch of a predetermined product length in the length direction.

At this time, since the heat-fused part is hard, the outer diameter increases and becomes hard. Therefore, if you want to cut the heat-sealed part, just cut it at the hard part.

(C) is the wire rod of (B) cut to the product length and sheathed at both ends. Therefore, at this stage, one of both ends has already been heat-sealed. Therefore, a cable similar to that shown in FIG. 7 can be manufactured by arranging only the other ends in a predetermined random arrangement (FIG. 5) and heat-sealing them. Incidentally, each strand is provided with a dot mark or the like, so that it can be arbitrarily identified and arranged.

In contrast to the first embodiment in which only the other end was heat-sealed, FIG. 2 shows a second embodiment of the present invention, showing step-by-step explanatory diagrams of each manufacturing process. That is, this is a method in which both ends are aligned and thermally fused from the beginning at the time of wire manufacturing. In (a), a flat cable consisting of repeated fused portions and non-fused portions is formed at approximately the same pitch as the desired product length in the length direction.

(c) shows a state diagram in which the sheathed modified sudare-shaped flat cable of (b) is cut at a predetermined product length pitch at the heat-sealed part, and the outer sheath is peeled off. In this case, since the cut is made at the center of the heat-sealed area, heat-sealed portions will remain at both ends. When actually connecting the connector here, A
, B, it is clear that the same odd numbered pitches can be obtained. - On the other hand, if you flip the even number pitch to the opposite side, you can create the same thing as the odd number pinch. Note that if only one wire is marked, it is possible to distinguish between odd pitches and even pitches. Finally, by pressing the connector, the cable with connector (d) is completed.

(Other variations) Up until now, the explanation has been given using pressure welding connectors as an example, but the invention is not limited to this. For example, crimp terminals can be used in the vicinity of heat fusion, or each method can be cut into a shape suitable for soldering. Needless to say, there is no problem even if the present invention is used for various purposes, and various modifications are included within the scope of the present invention. Furthermore, the fusion method is not limited to heat, and adhesive bonding may also be used.

(Effects of the Invention) As explained above, according to the cable and connector-equipped cable of the present invention, there is no need to look at the wire number on the dot mark, so the number of man-hours for terminal processing work can be reduced, resulting in a significant cost reduction. It has great industrial value because it has the excellent effect of measuring.
