Abstract

PURPOSE:To attain talking without need of utterance of a subscriber by providing a means sending a synthesized voice to a subscriber line through the button operation of a telephone set or an external device. CONSTITUTION:A telephone set 3 is provided with one-touch keys (F0-F9) 5 corresponding to basic conversation sentences and a character code input device 2 for a general-purpose wordprocessor and most basic words in conversations such as 'YES', 'NO' are uttered by using the one-touch keys 5 to attain mutual communication. Then a character from the character code input device 2 connecting to a general-purpose wordprocessor is converted into a voice by using a voice synthesis function of the telephone set 3 aid sent to a subscriber line 4 in voice. Thus, a subscriber makes telephone conversation without utterance at talking and even a subscriber handicapped in utterance makes communication.
