In order to observe a good image, the aperture diaphragm 2 should be adjusted to the objective lens 3.
It is necessary to aperture the aperture to about 70 to 80% of the pupil size to cut out excess light, and for this purpose, the observer must adjust the magnification of the objective lens (the size of the pupil of the objective lens) every time the objective lens magnification changes. There was a problem that it had to be done.

号は同一または相当部分を示している。FIG. 1 is a schematic diagram of a reflection type metallurgical microscope with automatic opening and aperture according to an embodiment of the present invention. The difference between this embodiment and the conventional example shown in FIG. 2 is that an automatic aperture diaphragm 12 is provided near the aperture diaphragm υ2 located on the optical axis behind the collector lens 8 to limit the illumination light flux. A stepping motor 13 moves this automatic aperture diaphragm 12, and a stepping motor 13 detects in which direction the objective lens 3 moves by means of a revolver 10 when the objective lens exchange switch 11 is operated.
By providing a control means having a pulse transmitter 14 for transmitting the movement to the automatic aperture diaphragm 12, the movement of the revolver 10 used when changing the objective lens 3 is transmitted to the automatic aperture diaphragm 12, and the diameter of the aperture diaphragm 12 is changed at each time. The magnification of the objective lens 3 is automatically changed according to the magnification of the objective lens 3. In the drawings, the same reference numerals indicate the same or corresponding parts.

It passes through the automatic opening aperture p12, is reflected by the half mirror 7, and illuminates the specimen 4 placed on the stage 5 via the objective lens 3. Therefore, the light from the specimen 4 is transmitted through the objective lens 3. Eyepiece9. It passes through the half mirror 7 and the reflecting mirrors 15a and 15b and enters the observer's eyes, allowing him to see an enlarged image of the specimen as in the conventional case. Further, when the objective lens exchange switch 11 is pressed in order to change the magnification of the objective lens 30, a pulse is transmitted from the pulse transmitter 14, and the stepping motor 13 is operated by the pulse output. Therefore, it is possible to move the automatic aperture diaphragm 12 to a preset circle diameter that is optimal for observing an image with the objective lens 3 in use. At this time, if the aperture diaphragm needs to be finely adjusted, it can also be done using the aperture diaphragm 2.
