When a mobile phone and a fixed wireless station are in a communication state, changes occur in the wireless line as the mobile phone moves. For this reason, the fixed wireless 8 and the mobile phone monitor each other's received field strength. Furthermore, control signals are transmitted and received during a call outside the voice band so as not to interfere with the call.

When the received field strength of the connected fixed wireless station drops below a certain value, the mobile phone issues a monitoring request to the fixed wireless station using a control signal outside the voice band. The fixed wireless station that received the signal sends a monitor request command to the wireless system control device via a wired data channel. As a result, the radio system control device issues a command to each fixed radio station, and all fixed radio stations in a standby state monitor the designated communication channel in accordance with the command. After transmitting the monitor request signal, the i-charging machine continuously transmits a zone switching signal using a control signal outside the voice band.

When the fixed wireless station being monitored receives a zone switching signal from the mobile phone, it enters the zone switching state from the standby state. The fixed wireless station that has entered the zone switching response state continuously transmits zone switching response signals on the control channel and waits for a fixed wireless station designation signal from the mobile phone. When the i-charging machine receives this with a receiver other than the voice channel and receives a zone switching response signal from the control channel, it responds to the continuously transmitted zone switching request signal with a control signal outside the voice band of the voice channel. Instead, a fixed wireless station designation signal is continuously transmitted using a control signal outside the voice band of the communication channel. After this, both the fixed wireless station and the mobile phone enter switching processing.

The mobile phone waits for a channel switching completion signal addressed to it from the new fixed wireless station. When a channel switching completion signal is received, a control signal outside the voice band of the currently active call channel replaces the continuously transmitted fixed wireless station designation signal.
Continuously transmits line link request signals. If the new fixed wireless station receives a line link request signal as a control signal outside the voice band from a mobile phone during monitoring, it sends a connection request command to the wireless system control device.

The mobile phone receives an unconfirmed signal from the control channel from the new fixed wireless station to which it is switching, using another receiver that is not used for calls, and receives its own electric field information contained in the signal and the new fixed wireless station. If the line quality of the station is satisfied, the call line is switched from the old fixed wireless station to the new fixed wireless station. After switching the call line, the mobile phone starts continuously transmitting its own terminal confirmation signal using a control signal outside the voice band. When the new fixed wireless station receives a terminal confirmation signal from a mobile phone that is a control signal outside the voice band, it sends a status setting request command to the wireless system control device and also controls the wireless system! A switching completion notification is sent to all fixed wireless stations via the II device.

When mobile phone B approaches point A at the boundary of the service area of fixed wireless station #2, the radio waves from fixed wireless station #2 weaken to a level that is barely sufficient to maintain call quality. At this point, mobile phone B enters the zone switching process, but unfortunately, since the identified wireless station #1, which corresponds to the parent of the new zone, is being used, the zone switching process cannot be started. Conventionally, if mobile phone B moves further to the left, the wireless line will be disconnected due to zone overflow. However, in the present invention, fixed wireless station #2 is configured to enter connection switching processing. i.e. fixed wireless station #
