着された電池の極性を判定する判定手段と、この
判定手段の判定結果に基づき前記電池への充電経
路を切換える切換え手段と、前記検出手段の検出
出力に基づき前記電池への充電電流の供給を制御
する制御手段とを具備したことを特徴とする充電
装置。 (3) 前記制御手段が、前記検出手段にて電池の
装着が検出されてから所定時間後に前記充電電流
の供給を開始する制御信号を出力するようになさ
れていることを特徴とする請求項2記載の充電装
