Abstract

PURPOSE:To photograph the clear picture of a flock to be photographed even when the moving speed is fast by using a TV camera with a high-speed shutter as a monitoring device. CONSTITUTION:When a flock group is photographed with an ITV camera 8 with a high-speed shutter while the flock group is irradiated with a high- luminance projector device 9, the picture of the flock group floating between a back plate 5 and window 3 is photographed through the window 3. The ITV camera 8 can surely catch and obtain the clear picture of the flock moving at a high speed in the photographing picture with, for example, a high-speed shutter function of 1/1,000sec. The insufficient light quantity produced due to the high shutter speed can be compensated by the high-luminance illumination of the high-luminance projector device 9. As a result, excellent picture processing can be performed by means of a picture processor 7 in the succeeding stage and the state of the underwater flock can be recognized accurately.

(Prior Art) FIG. 2 is a sectional view showing a conventional flock monitoring device disclosed in, for example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 61-250450.
A camera is used. 2 is a camera case having a waterproof structure in which the ITV camera 1 is housed; 3 is a window provided on the front surface 2a of the camera case 2 and fitted with glass or the like; 4
5 is a wiper provided with a brush 4a for wiping the window 3;
A back plate is attached to the front surface 2a of the camera case 2 via support members 5a and 5b, and the surface facing the front surface 2a is black. 6 is a light projector for illuminating the space between the front surface 2a and the back plate 5, and 7 is an image processing device for processing image information obtained from the ITV camera 1.

Next, the operation will be explained. When the camera case 2 containing the ITV camera 1 is installed in the water of a flock formation pond and the ITV camera 1 is used to take pictures while illuminating with the floodlight 6, the flocs floating between the back plate 5 and the window 3 are captured. The group is photographed through window 3. At this time, back plate 5
is black and the flock is white, so the contrast on the screen is strong and the flock can be clearly identified and photographed. The image information obtained from the ITV camera 1 is processed by the image processing device 7, whereby flocs within the screen are detected and counted according to particle size, and their distribution state etc. is displayed.

Since the conventional flock monitoring device is configured as described above, the ITV camera 1, which is the intake port for flock images,
, a shutter speed of 1 field and 1760 seconds is used, which is the usual shutter speed. Therefore, when the flocs move at a high speed, a clear image cannot be obtained, and the image processing device 7 cannot obtain a good image. There were problems such as inability to process.

Next, the operation will be explained. The ITV camera 8 with a high-speed shutter has a high-speed shutter function of, for example, 171,000 seconds, and can reliably capture flocks moving at high speed within the photographic screen to obtain a clear flock image. Furthermore, the insufficient amount of light due to the use of a high-speed shutter can be compensated for by high-intensity illumination by the high-intensity projector 9. This high-intensity floodlighting device 9 supplies light from a light source installed underwater or outside through an optical fiber cable 10, so that
It has the advantage of being easy to handle and maintain.

In addition, in the above embodiment, the speed of the high-speed shutter is set to 1.
71,000 seconds, but by making the shutter speed variable, it is possible to obtain the optimal shutter speed according to the moving speed of the flock within the screen.For example, when flocks in environments with different moving speeds are You can take pictures with. Further, when the moving speed of the flock is slow, by slowing down the shutter speed, it is possible to take a clear image even with a light projecting device with negative brightness.
