返されて開口内周壁を成すエアインテーク用の開
口部を有し該開口部より上部側をバンパーバツク
ビームに支持され開口部より下部側をロワープレ
ートに支持されたバンパーフエーシヤの上記エア
インテーク用開口部へのエアインテークカバーの
取付構造であつて、上記エアインテークカバーを
バンパーフエーシヤの開口形状に合せて前面側が
開口された中空閉断面構造に形成し且つエアイン
テークカバーの開口下端外縁から後方に向けて帯
状に延出される弾性変形可能な取付部を設け、上
記エアインテークカバーを上記バンパーフエーシ
ヤ側開口部内に嵌入し、上記取付部の弾性的な撓
みを利用して該取付部を上記バンパーフエーシヤ
側の開口部内周壁の下部側内壁面に密着させ、且
つ上記エアインテークカバーの上部側を上記バン
パーフエーシヤ側の開口部内周壁の上部壁と共に
上記バンパーバツクビームの下部壁にクリツプ部
材や螺子部材により固定したエアインテークカバ
ーの取付構造において、上記エアインテークカバ
ーの取付部後端側を上記バンパーフエーシヤの開
口部内周壁の下部壁側後壁端に沿つて前方若しく
は下方に折り返し該折り返し部を上記ロワープレ
ートまで延出してその延出部先端をロワープレー
トに掛合若しくは共締めしロワープレートに固定
したことを特徴とするエアインテークカバーの取
