Abstract

PURPOSE:To rapidly turn over a page at a high speed by continuously simultaneously turning over the page of a bankbook by page turning means in response to a command page number when a command of turning the page of the bankbook is received. CONSTITUTION:When a bankbook 20 is inserted into an inserter 2, it is conveyed to the position of a magnetic reader 6 and an optical sensor 7. When the page to be described is confirmed, it is conveyed to a printer 8, then printed, and returned as long as there is no further description. On the other hand, if it is turned over for describing on other page, when a processor 14 of page turning means 10 receives an instruction of turning over several pages from a host apparatus 9, a motor 12 is controlled to continuously rotate a page turning roller 11 in response to an instructed page number to continuously simultaneously turn the page of the bankbook 20. Accordingly, if a plurality of items are traded, the pages can be turned over for a short period of time. Thus, a customer's service can be enhanced that much.

This type of page changing device for passbooks is used in the passbook printing device of automatic teller machines, and for example, when an attempt is made to record a specified item on a desired page of a passbook, that page is automatically changed. The transaction efficiency is improved by calculating whether the desired page has been reached when turning the passbook, checking the page each time the passbook is turned, and repeating these operations to automatically turn the desired page. I'm trying to improve it.

The bankbook 20 is also turned over by the page changing means 10 as follows. That is, the processing circuit 14 of the page changing means 10 sets in advance the pages to be continuously turned, and when it receives a command from the host device 9 to turn a true number greater than the set number of pages, it changes the commanded number of pages to the set number of pages. Divide into blocks accordingly and calculate the fractional number of pages. In this case, if the set antilog of the processing circuit 14 is, for example, 3 pages, and a command to turn 5 pages is received from the host device 9,
Dividing into one block results in a fractional page number of two pages.
