Claims

A connector housing, a lock arm provided with a cantilever support on the connector housing with a free end facing rearward for locking to the mating connector, and a detector to ensure that the lock arm is properly locked to the mating connector. When the lock arm is fully locked, the detector can be inserted into the insertion space between the lock arm and the connector housing, and when the lock arm is incompletely locked, the detector comes into contact with the free end of the lock arm and cannot be inserted into the insertion space. In a connector equipped with a lock detection part, the tip of the detector and the free end of the lock arm are connected to each other by an insertion force applied to the detector when the lock arm is incompletely locked to the mating connector. The connectors are each provided with inclined surfaces oriented to deflect the free ends of the locking arms toward the connector housing.
