切替回路に接続された放電灯と、この放電灯の点
灯電力をフイードバツクする制御回路とを有する
装置において、前記極性切替回路は第一の半導体
素子を含む第一のチヨツパ回路と、第二の半導体
素子を含む第二のチヨツパ回路とを有し、前記第
一のチヨツパ回路と前記第二のチヨツパ回路は前
記制御回路により交互に駆動されることにより、
前記放電灯に安定化した直流を交互の極性で印加
