ミラー及びこれの後段に位置された第2の集光光
学系を介して受光する受光素子と、少なくとも前
記第1及び第2の集光光学系並びにハーフミラー
を収納するように設けられ上記ハーフミラーに対
応した位置に投受光用の窓部を有する本体ケース
と、この本体ケースに前記窓部を覆うように設け
られた透光性ある板状保護カバーとを備え、前記
保護カバーは前記投光素子及び受光素子の各光軸
に対して傾斜した状態で配置されていることを特
