However, the end surface joint 11A5.5 was exposed, which not only spoiled the appearance, but also had the disadvantage that the joint surface was likely to peel off.

This is a method of manufacturing a window frame in which the end faces of the window frame to be connected are brought into contact with each other, placed in a high frequency molding mold having a predetermined cavity, and heated under high frequency to fuse and join the abutting end faces to each other to integrate the window frame.

Therefore, the fitting groove firmly holds the window glass without deforming, the tongue-shaped seal piece adapts to the shape of the seal part and deforms and presses into contact, enhancing the sealing effect. Since they are integrally joined and connected by high frequency welding, the joined parts do not overlap, and since they are mutually fused, no joining line is generated.

A holding part 12 having a U-shaped cross section on the inside is molded from hard resin, and a tongue-shaped sealing piece 13 is formed.
The sealing part 14 existing on the outside is molded with a soft resin, and the hard resin holding part 12 and the soft resin sealing part 14 are respectively placed in a cavity in a high frequency mold as shown in FIG. The window frame 10 made of soft resin can be obtained by fusion-bonding and integrating the two by high-frequency heating.

Then, the window frames 10a, 10
b can be formed into a series of window frames 10 with corner portions via corner connecting pieces 10c.

There is no risk of it falling off from the frame, and since the seal part with the tongue-shaped seal piece is made of soft resin, the tongue-shaped seal piece adapts to the shape of the sealing area and deforms and presses against it. It is possible to reliably prevent foreign matter from entering the vehicle from the outside by sealing the part, and furthermore, since the hard holding part and the soft sealing part are fused and bonded using high-frequency heating, both can be sealed. There is no risk of the window frame peeling off, and in some corners of the window frame, the joint ends are fused together and integrated by high-frequency heating through the corner connection piece, so the joint ends will not separate. Moreover, since the end faces are joined by contact with each other, there is no risk of creating a step at the connection part, and the appearance of the window frame forms a uniform smooth surface with no irregularities, so there is no risk of spoiling the aesthetic appearance of the window frame, etc. , which has many excellent effects.
