【発明の詳細な説明】
産業上の利用分野
この発明は、口腔内の歯垢の除去及びムシ南画、歯槽膿
漏歯に対する殺菌効果を有するチューインガムに関する
ものである。

従来のチューインガムは、チクル、酢酸ビニルなどの合
成樹脂よりなるチューインガム基体に甘味料、ハツカ、
香料等を加えて風味を付け、成型したものである。

本発明の目的は、歯垢の除去効果、殺菌作用及び口臭予
防効果を付加したチューインガムを提供することである

課題を解決するための手段
特公昭６０−５７３４０号公報に記載されているように

ストレプトコッカスミュータンス、歯槽ｍ漏の有力な原
因菌であるバクテロイデス・ジンジバリス等が電子の受

発明の効果
本発明は、チューインガム基体に二酸化チタンを添加し
たので、光をあてると酸化環元反応を起こして虫歯菌、
歯１！ｌ１ｌｌｆ％ｉ菌を殺菌することができ、歯垢及
び乳酸を分解して歯肉や歯を保護することができる。

第１図に示すように、二酸化チタン２の微粉末を風味を

- チューインガム基体に二酸化チタンの微粉末を添加した
ことを特徴とするチューインガム。
