[Conventional technology and its problems] Traditionally, when perishable fruits such as apples, pears, peaches, and melons were stacked and packed in cardboard boxes or wooden boxes, the fruits were usually stored in trays made of foamed plastic. In this state, the layers are stacked with an intermediate cushioning material having a cushioning property interposed between each layer.

Single-corrugated cardboard, which has traditionally been used as an intermediate cushioning material for packaging the fruits mentioned above, has poor cushioning properties and air permeability, especially for fruits that have a core at the top, such as apples. In recent years, the use of a mesh made of flexible synthetic resin foam has been considered. (Utility Model Publication No. 55-18310), or inserting cardboard or the like as a core material into a cylindrical mesh made of foam (Utility Model Publication No. 47-37914), or polystyrene-based A laminated sheet of a foamed resin sheet and a foamed polyolefin resin sheet (Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 143229/1983) is commonly used.

However, the above-mentioned cushioning materials are only intended to be used as cushioning materials for packaging, and after individual fruits are taken out at retail stores, they are simply disposed of as unnecessary items, making disposal extremely troublesome. It has become large and uneconomical.

On the other hand, at retail stores, fruits transported from the production area are usually removed from cardboard boxes and packaged in cushioning bags, and recently, synthetic resin foam has been used for this packaging. Bags made of net-like material are often used (for example, Japanese Utility Model Application Publications No. 114641/1982 and Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 31256/1983), but such bags must be purchased separately.

[Function] The packaging cushioning material of the present invention having the above structure has the following features:
When fruits such as apples, pears, and peaches are stored in trays and stacked and packaged in a cardboard box, the cushioning material of this invention can be used alone or by overlapping with a base sheet such as corrugated paper to provide intermediate cushioning. When used as a material, an underlay cushioning material, or a top layer covering cushioning material, the mesh material is made of synthetic resin foam, so it has elasticity unique to foam and has excellent space retention. It is a concatenation of multiple bags and has a double structure on the front and back, which gives it thickness and elasticity, and together with this, it has extremely excellent cushioning properties, as well as the air permeability necessary for fruit packaging. It will also be excellent.

Not only that, but especially for the cushioning material of the present invention,
Since the net-like material is composed of a connected body in which a plurality of bags of the net-like material are connected in a separable manner, the net-like material can be easily separated into individual bags after being used as an intermediate cushioning material for boxing and packaging as described above. Furthermore, this bag has the elasticity and stretchability unique to foam netting, making it easy to open, and by storing each fruit taken out from the box at a retail store, etc., it has cushioning properties. It can be effectively used as a packaging bag.
