板11の平滑面にはアルミニウムを蒸着したポリエステ

12にて拡散されるためポリエステルフィルム上に一様
に入射し、明確に影が形成されることがない。従って表
示パターンが二重に見えることがなく、視認性が非常に

布してから紫外線を照射し、ガラスピーズ14bをガラ
ス板141L上に固着したものである。第1の実施例の
光拡散板11に代えてこの光拡散板14を用いた以外は
、本実施例は第1の実施例と同様の構成である。この液
晶表示素子においても光拡散板14のガラスピーズ14
bによって光が拡散され、影がなく視認性に優れた表示

ンヘト基板16に取り付けても本発明の効果を得ること
