Conventionally, a transfer sheet made by printing an ink containing a sublimable dye on a suitable base sheet is used, and this is placed on a transfer material such as cloth or plastic material, and heated to penetrate the dye into the transfer material. This method of transferring is known as the sublimation transfer printing method. Transfer sheets used in this method include those on which a pattern is printed in advance with the above-mentioned ink, and those on which the entire surface is printed solidly. The former type of transfer sheet requires the desired pattern to be printed in advance, and the desired pattern cannot be formed during use, while the latter type of transfer sheet requires cutting out a single sheet of transfer sheet into the desired shape. By pasting it on the surface of another transfer sheet,
A desired pattern can be formed during use, but
In this case as well, (a) the user is often not an expert, so it is difficult to register. (b) Since adhesive is used, it gets dirty easily. (c) Since the transfer sheet is usually transparent to dyes, the color of the pasted transfer sheet cannot be reproduced on the transferred material, and the color of the underlying transfer sheet becomes a mixed color. There is a problem.

That is, in the present invention, on the surface of a base sheet having a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer on the back side, a resisting layer that does not transmit sublimable dyes, an ink layer that contains sublimable dyes, and a release layer that transmits sublimable dyes are sequentially formed. A laminated transfer sheet is obtained by laminating a plurality of units of the formed transfer sheet as one unit on an arbitrary base sheet.

All of the materials for these layers are known, but examples of materials for the resist dyeing layer 03 include hydrophilic materials such as aluminum foil, starch, dextrin, gum arabic, sodium alginate, polyacrylamide, locust bean gum, and polyvinyl alcohol. carbon black that adsorbs the dye vapor contained in the ink 04, or a compound that chemically reacts with the dye vapor to produce a non-migratory substance.

In addition, many types of sublimable dyes are known, such as disperse dyes, oil-soluble dyes, and cationic dyes.
Any of these dyes can be used. Inks containing this sublimable dye are also known.

A plurality of units of the transfer sheet thus obtained are laminated on a suitable base sheet 4. FIG. 2 is a sectional view showing an example in which transfer sheets 1, 2, and 3 of three colors (three units) of red, blue, and yellow are laminated on a base sheet 4.

That is, a yellow transfer sheet 3, a blue transfer sheet 2, and a red transfer sheet 1 are placed on a base sheet 4 made of thin paper of about 14 to 50 g/m 2 using a pressure-sensitive adhesive on the back side of each transfer sheet. In this way, the transfer sheet and the base sheet 4 are adhesively laminated on the surfaces of the respective transfer sheets and the base sheet 4.

When this laminated transfer sheet is used, a multicolored pattern is formed by partially (design-shaped) removing the upper layer transfer sheet with a knife or cutting die and exposing the lower layer transfer sheet to the surface. FIG. 3 is a sectional view of the laminated transfer sheet at this time, and as can be seen from this, the surfaces of the yellow transfer sheet 3 and the blue transfer sheet 2 are partially exposed at x and y.

The cutting depth of knives and cutting dies is not particularly strict. As can be seen from FIGS. 2 and 3, the portions x and y of the transfer sheet to be removed are
Since the film is peeled off between the mold release layer 05 and the mold release layer 05, even non-experts can successfully peel and remove the transfer sheet without damaging the surface of the transfer sheet in the lower layer or leaving any transfer sheet to be removed.
