肉厚に設けられていたので、重量が重く、また破
砕孔の加工に時間がかかり、破砕格子の製作費が

ケーシング部5に吸入された汚水は吸入路11を
通り、本体3内を経て吸入路11と直交する吐出
ケーシング部5の吐出路13を通過して外部に吐
出されるものである。吸入路11中には、破砕格
子15が吸入ケーシング7と本体3との間に挾持
されて着脱自在に固着して設けられ、破砕格子1
5の外周縁部と内径縁部との間の中央面部16に
は破砕孔17,17,…が貫通して設けられてい
る。破砕格子15は、鋼板をプレス成形して、外
周縁部と内径縁部にそれぞれ補強用のリブ19,
21を同方向に折り曲げ形成している。また破砕
格子15の吸入側に近接して、固形物を破砕する
ための羽根車23が回転自在に設けられている。
羽根車23はキー25を介して、ナツト27によ
り回転軸29に固着されている。回転軸29は吸
入ケーシング7の軸心方向に、羽根車23の吐出
側に設けられている。回転軸29は軸受31を介
して本体3内に突出する軸受部33に軸支されて
いる。また羽根車23の外周と適宜間隙をもつて
外環35が本体3に嵌装されている。羽根車23
は第2図、第3図に示すごとく、翼37の前縁
(吸入側)に刃部39が設けられ、切刃41と対
応して固形物を破砕するものである。切刃41は
吸入ケーシング7内に斜めに刃部39に対応する
方向に向つて摺動自在に突出して、外端は袋ナツ
ト43により覆われ、ボルト45によつて適宜位
置に固定されている。また翼37の後縁(吐出
側)には刃部47が設けられ、破砕格子15と対
応して固形物を破砕する。回転軸29は、本体3
の吸入ケーシング7と反対側位置に固着された軸
受筒49にベアリング51を介して回転自在に軸
支され、外部の端部には駆動軸(図示せず)に連
結するフランジ53が固着されている。軸受筒4
9の内部にはベアリングケース55が軸方向に摺
動自在に嵌合し、内部にベアリング51がベアリ
ング押え57により固定されている。軸受筒49
