するためのインジエクターと、分析カラムと、さ
らに流下する移動相中の試料成分を示差屈折率検
出器を介して検出した後の廃液を貯留するための
廃液貯槽とをその流路中に有し、かつ、前記検出
器による検出結果を記録するための記録計を備え
てなる液体クロマトグラフ装置において、 前記示差屈折率検出器と前記廃液貯槽との間の
流路中には、当該流路中の圧力を測定するための
圧力計と、前記示差屈折率検出器に背圧を発生さ
せるための圧力発生路とを介在配置するとともに
、前記圧力計には、指針が設定圧力値に到達した
際にこれを検知して前記送液ポンプの駆動電源を
自動的に遮断するために必要な導通接点を設けた
