Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce number of terminal accommodation devides even when lots of accommodated terminal sets are used by connecting a line concentrator and an exchange through one digital transmission line while using the line concentrator so as to avoid contention between terminal sets. CONSTITUTION:Plural digital terminal sets 111, 118 are connected to a line concentrator 100 via terminal connection lines 13,14 and the line concentrator 100 is connected to an exchange 10 via a digital transmission line 11. The line concentrator 100 consists of a line connection circuit 150, terminal connection circuits 141, 148 and a collision signal generating circuit 160, the contention between the digital terminal sets 111, 118 is avoided and the data transmission with the digital transmission line 11 multiplexing the plural communication channels and one control channel is applied.

複数の通信用チャネルおよび1つの制御用チャネルを前
記各端末接続回路への通信用チャネルと制御用チャネル
に分離する回線接続回路とから構成し、前記交換機と集
線装置との間は複数の通信用チャネルと1つの制御用チ
ャネルを多重化した1組のディジタル伝送路によつて接
続し、前記集線装置と各ディジタル端末との間は各ディ
ジタル端末毎に通信用チャネルと制御用チャネルを多重
化したディジタル伝送路によつて接続したことを特徴と
する交換機の端末収容方式。
