[Detailed Description of the Invention] The present invention relates to a covering material for stabilizing the foundation ground of structures such as seawalls and embankments in ports, rivers, etc.

Figure 1 shows the general structure of structures in ports, rivers, etc., using an embankment as an example. In the figure, 1 is the ground, and 2 is the covering material that covers it. Usually canvas or flexible sheets are used, and it covers a wider area of the ground than the structure that is built on top.
3 is the rubble that makes up the foundation, and 4 is the embankment made of caisson etc.

そこで、上記被覆材2についていえば、これは

Therefore, regarding the above-mentioned covering material 2, if the ground 1 is sandy, this is used to cover the ground and build a structure on top of it, and this is the reason why it covers a wider area than the structure. This is because the ground directly beneath the structure is gradually scoured by waves and water currents, and in severe cases, the scour progresses to deep underground of the structure, leading to destruction or overturning of the structure. In order to prevent this, it is widely covered with coating material 2, but these coating materials are prone to fluidization of sand on the bottom surface of the coating material due to changes in plate-shaped surface pressure due to water currents and waves. There is a possibility that it will be scoured, and it will not be able to fulfill its original role.

Furthermore, these covering materials are often made of vinyl or asphalt, and are therefore heavy, and there is also the problem of poor workability due to changes in hardness between summer and winter.

The purpose of this invention is to solve the above-mentioned drawbacks, and by using a turf-like covering material with cilia attached to a water-permeable woven network, erosion caused by scouring of the ground around the structure is prevented. It is characterized by prevention.

FIG. 2 is a partially enlarged view showing a covering material 7 having a structure in which cilia 6 are implanted in both the vertical and horizontal threads of a water-permeable net-like body 5 woven with twisted threads.

The cilia 6 may be implanted when the twisted yarn is manufactured or when the net-like body 5 is manufactured, and the cilia 6 may be implanted when the workability is good. Further, the flocked state does not necessarily have to be directed upwards of the net-like body, as long as the flocked hair is evenly flocked around the twisted yarns according to the degree of twist of the twisted yarns.

Furthermore, the net-like body does not necessarily have to be twisted yarn, but may have a structure in which cilia are formed on a net-like molded product, and the mesh size is approximately 3 mm to 8 mm in roughness, but it is not necessarily limited to this size. , can be selected depending on the ground condition.

As shown in Fig. 3, the covering material 7 constructed in this way is secured to the ground in a grid pattern or staggered pattern by means of push rods 8 whose upper ends are bent into a U shape, and spread over the underside of the structure and its surroundings. Ru.

Figure 4 is a cross-sectional view when used for an embankment. Covering material 7 is spread over a wider area than the structure on the ground 1, rubble 3 is piled up as a foundation, and embankment 4 is built on top of it using a caisson or the like. This is a newly constructed structure that is exactly the same as the conventional one.

Figure 5 is a cross-sectional view of the case where it is used for a seawall.
Covering material 7 is laid on top and rubble 9 serving as a foundation is layered to protect and reinforce the lower part of embankment 11 formed of paving stones 10 and the like.

According to the present invention having the above-mentioned structural action, the covering material is a water-permeable net-like body with cilia attached thereto to form a grass-like structure.
This means that the erosion caused by scouring that accompanies this can be suppressed to a minimum.

In addition, during work, since the cilia are flocked to the mesh, voids and spaces are created and have a buffering effect, which prevents damage to the covering material during rubble work during foundation construction, making work easier. Moreover, since the covering material is lightweight and does not change in hardness due to temperature changes, it also has the advantage of facilitating installation work.
