子機器に於て、キーボードユニツト、表示ユニツ
トおよび電子演算回路ユニツトをプリント回路基
板上に一体的に実装することにより小形化、薄形
化を図ることに技術上の努力が払われている。

点があつた。即ち、従来のコネクタは小型化/コ
ストを考慮した時ある程度以上の小型化は逆にコ
スト高を招き、これに使用した電子機器のコスト
も高くなる欠点があつた。

形化を図つた電子部品接続装置を得ることであ
る。

以下、本考案を図面で示す一実施例について説
明する。

〈実施例〉 第1図は液晶表示体1とプリント回路基板2と
の接続方法を示したものである。これはプリント
回路基板としてフレキシブル基板を用いたもの
で、第2図の分解斜視図により示すように液晶表
示体1と接続する側の端部2′をコ字状にし、こ
の凹部に液晶表示体1の一方のガラス板1aを係
合挿入し、金属板でコ字状に加工されたクリツプ
5の弾性でこの先端部2′をガラス板1aに圧着
させる。もちろん、この圧着によりプリント回路
基板2側に形成された液晶駆動用接続端子3,3
…と、液晶表示体1のガラス板1aに蒸着形成さ
れた接続用端子4,4…とが圧接触し、電気的結
合が行なわれる。フレキシブルなプリント回路基
板2は、これで液晶表示体1と電気的にも機械的
にも結合される。この例において、プリント回路
基板2の先端部2′をコ字状にして、換言すれば
ガラス板1aの端部を取り巻くようにして圧着す
る構成を採つているので、クリツプ5の圧着にあ
つてはより強い結合がなされる。第3図はクリツ
プ5の斜視図を表わしている。第4図はプリント
回路基板3,3…の形成される反対の面に、それ
もコ字状となる先端部2′に蒸着形成される、例
えば銅の膜であり、この先端部2′において3区
域とし1a,1b,1c各区域に銅の膜6a,6
b,6cを形成する。この場合、銅の膜6cは上
記接続用端子3,3…と対応した位置に形成さ
れ、コ字状にして圧着される時、この接続用端子
3,3…に特に力が加わるように工夫したもので
あつて、更に液晶表示体1の接続用端子4,4…
との電気的結合が良好である。こえにあつてはク
リツプ5の各片5′,5′…もそれに対応して形成
する。

となく小さなスペースで確実に且つ簡単に直接接
続でき、小型化、薄型化を要求される電子機器に
採択して好適である。特に、フレキシブル基板の
裏面には一体に、銅の膜を接続端子に位置づけて
形成した電子部品の挟持をより強固になし、更に
前記接続端子に対応して複数の弾性部片を有した
コ字状の接続具で、電子部品の接続端子に重合接
触したフレキシブル基板を弾性的に挟持させるこ
とにより、前記フレキシブル基板の構成と相俟つ
て該フレキシブル基板と接続端子との接続をより
強固にでき、振動等による接続断を確実に防止し
得、かつ前記銅膜もフレキシブル基板に一体とな
つているので特別に補助部品を設ける必要もな
く、部品点数も少なくて組み立てにも便利であ
る。
