As this ladle, a single piece made of cast iron is mainly used. Cast iron is corroded by molten nonferrous metals, so it is coated with ceramic. However, in the case of aluminum, the lifespan is about 2 to 6 weeks if coated every day, and it becomes unusable in about a week if coated only once.

ある。 Ceramics such as Si 3 N 4 , SiC, SiAlOH, TiO 2 Al 2 O 3 , and calcium silicate are susceptible to erosion by molten metal, so it is thought that they can be used for a long time without being coated. However, it is difficult to put these into practical use because they crack due to thermal shock or mechanical shock during use. In particular, if the part including the attachment part to the casting machine is made of ceramics, not only will the shape be complicated, but it will also be difficult to construct the attachment part so that it will not break due to impact.

In order to achieve this object, the present invention provides a bowl-shaped body made of ceramics having a spout having a U-shaped cross section integrally formed in a part of the surrounding green, and an end portion of the bowl-shaped body that is close to the spout of the bowl-shaped body and the surrounding green. A sheet metal having a central portion located opposite to the outer surface, extending from there to both sides of the spout, and touching and straddling the top surface of the spout, and a portion provided at the portion where the end of the bowl-shaped sheet metal is located. a hole, a metal tube slightly longer than the wall thickness of the bowl-shaped body inserted into the hole with its end surface in contact with the inner surface of the sheet metal end, and a washer disposed inside the bowl-shaped body in contact with the end surface of the metal tube; This ceramic ladle includes a bolt inserted through a sheet metal end, a metal tube, and a washer, and a nut fitted onto the bolt and tightening the metal tube, sheet metal end, and washer.

The sheet metal is placed so that it extends from the outer surface of both sides of the bowl-shaped body near the spout of the bowl-shaped body to both sides of the spout and touches the top surface of the spout, so it does not come into contact with the molten metal. It does not erode. At both ends of the sheet metal, a metal tube that is slightly longer than the wall thickness of the bowl-shaped body is inserted into the hole provided in the bowl-shaped body, and the sheet metal and washer are held at both ends of the metal tube with bolts, and the bolts are tightened to the bowl-shaped body. Since the bowl-shaped body and the sheet metal are connected so that no force or expansion/contraction force of the sheet metal is applied, stress concentration does not occur in the bowl-shaped body, and breakage from the attachment part can be prevented. A fitting for the casting machine is installed near the spout, and when hot water is drawn from the opposite side of the spout and poured from the spout into the mold, the force applied to the bowl-shaped body is transferred to the metal cylinder circumferential surface at both ends of the sheet metal. Since the sheet metal is supported at three points, including the central part of the sheet metal that contacts the top surface of the spout, it is possible to avoid applying force to the bowl-shaped body locally, and to protect the connection between the bowl-shaped body and the sheet metal from mechanical shock. It can be made durable.

Embodiments of the invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 1-4. A bowl-shaped body 1 made of ceramics is oval in shape and has a spout 2 having a U-shaped cross section with an open upper surface formed on one of the opposing circumferences with a small curvature. The end portion 10 is located on the outer surface of the bowl-shaped body 1 facing the spout 2 near the surrounding area, and extends from there to both sides of the spout so that the central portion 11 touches and straddles the top surface of the spout 2. A sheet metal 3 is placed. A fitting 9 for attachment to a casting machine is attached by welding to a metal plate 3 on one side of the spout 2. As shown in FIG. 4, a hole 4 passes through the portion of the bowl-shaped body 1 that contacts the end portion 10 of the sheet metal 3. In the hole 4, there is a metal cylinder 5 which is slightly longer than the wall thickness of the bowl-shaped body 1 and whose outer diameter is smaller than that of the hole 4.
A washer 6 is placed inside the bowl-shaped body 1 in contact with the other end surface of the metal cylinder 5. The metal tube 5 may be welded to the sheet metal 3 or the washer 6. A bolt 7 is inserted from the sheet metal 3 into the metal tube 5 and the washer 6, and the end portion 10, the metal tube 5, and the washer 6 are tightened with a nut 8. This ladle is attached to the casting machine with a fitting 9 and is used to draw molten metal into the bowl-shaped body 1 from the opposite side of the spout 2 and pour the molten metal from the spout 2 into the mold.
