動要素1の回転出力を圧縮要素3に伝えるクランク軸、
4a、4bはこのクランク軸2に互いに180度位相を
ずらして設けられた偏心部、5a、5bは偏心部4a、
4bに回転自在に嵌合支持されたローリ、グピストンで
ある。そしてローリジグピストン5a、5bはそれぞれ
仕切板6を介して上下に並設された2個のシリンダ7a
、7bの内部で回転するようになっている。また、クラ
ンク軸2は、各シリ、グ7a、7bを閉塞する上軸受8
aおよび下軸受81)によってラジアル方向が支又られ
ている。また、軸方向に関して(よ、下軸受8bのスラ
スト面9によって支えられてl、Nろ。
このように構成されt二電動要素1および圧縮要素3は
、密閉容器10の内部に収容され、その底部には潤滑油

入室12は、外部冷媒回路からの被圧縮ガスのアキュム
レータ17と、吸入管16a、16bによって連通され
ている。そして、休筒制御機構20は、下側の吸入管1
6bの途中に、スライダ18を内挿したハウジング]9
と、スライダ18下部空間と高圧部を開閉弁23aを介
して連通させた体筒制御用配管22.24と、ガスの吸
入室12側と、スライダ18下部空間とを、開閉弁23
bを介して連通させたガス抜き用配管25とを備えてい
る。
なお、休筒制御機構20のスライダ18とハウジング1
9の間にはスライダ18が上下方向に(n動するように
微小の隙間が形成されている。
次に動作について説明する。電動要素1によってクラン
ク軸2が回転駆動されると、互いに180度位相がずれ
た偏芯部4n、4bを介して、ローりングピストシ5a
、5bが各シリンダ7a。
7bの内部において所定方向に回転する。ここで、開閉
弁23aを閉じてスライダ18下部空間への高圧ガスの
流入を止め、開閉弁23bを開いて、スライダ18下方
のハウジング19内の空間金吸入室12と連通させて低
圧にすることにより、スライダ18は、被圧縮ガスのア
キュムレータ17からの流れに付勢され下降し、アキュ
ムレータ]7と下側のシリンダ7bの吸入室12とを連
通させる。よって、第4図において、ローリンゲピスト

に回転することにより、吸入管16bから被圧縮冷媒ガ
スが吸入室12に吸入される。一方、圧縮室13では、
前のサイクルで既に吸入された冷媒ガスがその容積縮小
に伴って圧縮され、この圧縮された冷媒ガスが吐出弁1
5を押し開し)てシリンダ外、即ち密閉容器10内に吐
出される。この動作を上、下のシリンダ7a、7bの内
部で、クラック軸2の回転角に180度の位相差を有し
ながら同時に繰り返すことにより、圧縮された冷媒ガス
を冷媒サイクツ[ンステムに供給して、冷凍サイクルを
作動させる。
次に、体筒をする場合には、開閉弁23bを閉じてガス
抜き用配管25を塞ぎ、休筒制御機構20の開閉弁23
aを開いて、スライダ18の下方空間に高圧ガスを送り

ダ18上端面および側面で吸入管16bを閉塞すること
により、下側のシリンダ7bを体筒させて圧縮機能力を
