Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the squeing of an original, getting over an original set guide, by installing a visor onto an original guide and regulating the upper surface of an original side edge part. CONSTITUTION:The position of an original 3 is regulated by an original set guide 1 by installing a visor 2 at the upper edge of the original set guide 1, and the original 3 is transported in the direction of arrow 7 by an original transporting roller 4. The original 3 passes over a reading mechanism 5 and discharged from a discharge port 6a of a facsimile device 6. Though, during the transport, the side 3a of the original 3 is only regulated by the vertical part 1a of the original guide 1 in the conventional, the upper surface at the edge part, besides the side part of the original, regulated by the visor 3, and therefore, even if the large aslant traveling is generated, the original 3 is prevented from getting over the original set guide 1.

Description

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION (Industrial Field of Application) The present invention relates to a document transport device of a facsimile machine, and more specifically, to a guide for accurately processing a document.

(Prior Art) The afC of a conventional document transport device will be explained with reference to the schematic diagram of FIG. 2, and its problems will be mentioned.

The document transport device includes a document transport roller 4 and a document set guide l.

The document setting guide 1 has L-shaped plates arranged on the left and right sides of the upper surface of the facsimile machine 6, respectively.

The original 3 is positioned at a predetermined position by regulating the sides 3ai of the original 3 and the vertical portions 1a.

The document 3 thus positioned is conveyed in the direction of the arrow 7 by the document transport roller 4 and passes over the reading mechanism 5 . Thereafter, the facsimile is discharged through an outlet 6a provided on the side of the facsimile device 6.

(Problem to be Solved by the Invention) In such a document transport mechanism, unless the document is extremely skewed, the direction is regulated by the vertical portion 1a of the document set guide 1, and the document is transported normally. .
