Traditionally, for many ramen, miso soup, and other easily prepared foods, it is better to package them separately before pouring boiling water or simmering them, in order to preserve their flavor, even if they are ultimately eaten together. do. For example, when it comes to ramen noodles, there is a method that allows the seasoning ingredients to be absorbed into the noodle itself and then pours boiling water over it, but if you are looking for a more pleasant taste,
A preferred method is to store the seasoning ingredients in a small separate bag and add the seasoning ingredients from the separate bag after the noodles are swollen with boiling water.

Polyhydric alcohols in a broad sense in the film produced from a composition of polyhydric alcohol and natural polyhydric alcohol include polyhydric alcohols in a narrow sense such as glycerin, and sugar alcohols, and in the case of liquids, they can be used as they are or in concentrated solutions. In the case of a solid, it is used as a concentrated solution, and a somewhat moist composition is obtained by kneading the polysaccharide and, if necessary, protein, its decomposition product, or amino acid. When this composition is dissolved in water to form a film, a film can be obtained which is insoluble in water at room temperature and dissolves in water when heated, depending on the conditions. Furthermore, depending on the conditions, an edible film that does not dissolve even in hot water can be obtained.

The presence of moisture is important in sealing edible films. In the heat-sealing of ordinary plastic films, they are simply heated to melt them and then press-bonded to seal them, but with the edible film of the present invention, simply heating is not enough to cause the material to deteriorate. Since it is not sufficiently melted, it causes deterioration of the edible film and incomplete sealing, and also increases equipment costs. When heating and pressurizing is performed in the presence of moisture as in the present invention, complete sealing can be achieved at low temperatures without deteriorating the edible film.

In order to make moisture exist, it is possible to use a drying method as long as the moisture is supplied only to the area of the edible film that is to be sealed. For example, a sponge-like material may be soaked with moisture and then supplied to the sealing area, or a brush may be applied. There are methods such as applying it or spraying it.

For sealing, it is possible to easily form and fill edible film-sealed foods by using a regular automatic bag-forming and filling machine that has been modified to supply moisture to the area to be sealed. It will be done. This edible film-sealed food is hermetically packaged together with other foods, and when inserted into a heated aqueous solution or broth at a specified time without the need to open the bag, the bag will dissolve and will not separate and lose its flavor until this time. The retained internal seasonings are eluted and a deliciously seasoned food is obtained. Furthermore, if the contents are semi-fluid, they may be heated as they are.

The contents of edible film-sealed foods are often powdered seasonings, and can also be applied to various foods such as semi-liquid miso, powdered raw milk, and chocolate. In addition, the finished curry roux, hayashi roux, stew, etc. can be filled and sealed and stored frozen, and when used, the packaged bag can be heated to dissolve the bag and allow you to eat warm curry, etc. In this case, the flavor is also good because it is not a retort food unlike conventional foods.

In the case of edible films that do not dissolve even when heated,
If you seal cod roe and other fish roe, small fish, shaved cutlets, etc. and boil them as is, the stock will dissolve and the small foods will not disperse. Depending on the type of food packaged, the whole edible film bag can be eaten.

Since the packaging film itself is edible, it is necessary to further package it for distribution and preservation, and edible film-sealed foods with similar contents may be packaged together.
It is also used to separate and package different food materials so that the flavor does not deteriorate due to mutual mixing. Freezing is also possible for preservation.

The inventors of the present invention have discovered that these edible films have the property of being easier to seal in the presence of moisture. By sealing some foods in this way and making them edible film-sealed foods, even if they are sealed at the same time as other foods, they will not be affected by other foods in the same way as if they were sealed in regular plastic film bags. It can be stored for long periods of time without being exposed to heat, and there is no need to open the bag before use; simply heat it or insert it into hot water, and the bag material will dissolve, allowing the contents to dissolve and create a unique flavor. It can be added. Alternatively, even if the bag material does not dissolve, it can be eaten as is.
