Abstract

PURPOSE:To omit a special keyboard by using a standard keyboard for input of the pronunciation of Hangul characters in combinations of alphabet letters which show almost faithfully the pronunciation of the Hangul characters. CONSTITUTION:Element characters forming the Hangul characters are previously defined as combinations of alphabet letters showing the pronunciation of the Hangul characters and these combinations are inputted via a keyboard having a standard array of keys. Thus each Hangul character is fixed. In this case, the alphabet letters showing the pronunciation of element characters are limited to those that can be easily understood by a user who learns the Korean language as a foreign language.
