Abstract

PURPOSE:To correct the slope in the modulation sensitivity and to eliminate the deviation by operating simultaneously a modulation circuit whose slope of a frequency modulation sensitivity is positive with respect to the oscillated frequency and a modulation circuit whose slope of a frequency modulation sensitivity is negative. CONSTITUTION:An output terminal 22 extracting an output is connected to an oscillation circuit 21 and a frequency modulation circuit 23 is connected. The FM modulation circuit 23 consists of two circuits, a modulation circuit comprising a variable capacitance diode 24 and a capacitor 25 and another modulation circuit comprising resistors 27, 30, a capacitor 28 and a variable capacitor diode 29. Thus, the slope of the frequency modulation sensitivity with respect to the oscillated frequency is corrected automatically to obtain a characteristic without the deviation. Thus, the slope of the modulation sensitivity is corrected to eliminate the deviation.

In this configuration, by applying an FM modulation input of a low frequency signal to the anode side of the varicap diode 9 for controlling the oscillation frequency, the capacitance value of the varicap diode 9 is changed to apply FM modulation. . Further, as shown in FIG. 6, an FM modulation circuit 15 configured by connecting an FM modulation input terminal 14 for applying an FM modulation input to the connection point of a series circuit of a varicap diode 12 and a capacitor 13 to the oscillation circuit 11. and a varicap diode 17 connected to the oscillation frequency control input terminal 16 on the cathode side, so that the output from the oscillation circuit 11 is obtained at the output terminal 18. In this configuration, a varicap diode 17 dedicated to modulation
By adding this to the oscillation circuit 11, FM modulation can be applied.
