録紙4の記録開始位置を熱記録ヘツド6に合わ
せ、また転写シート1は巻きとりリール3を回動
させて、記録信号と同じ色を塗布してある部分の
先頭部を前記熱記録ヘツド6の位置に合わせる。
この転写シート1の位置合わせは、転写シート1
に検出用のマークを設け、装置本体基台に設置さ

録ヘツド20は、第7図の位置まで移動し実質的
な記録動作を行なう。すなわち熱記録ヘツド20
は転写シート15と記録紙13を介してプラテン
11を押圧し、同時に検出部材21もまた付勢さ
れた状態で同様にプラテン11を押圧している。
第1色目の記録が終了すると、熱記録ヘツド20
は第6図の位置まで下降し、第1色の記録と同じ
ような方法で記録紙13と第2色目の転写シート
15の位置合わせを行なう。以上のような行程を
繰り返し4色の記録が終了すれば、熱記録ヘツド
20は、第5図の位置まで下降する。さて転写シ
ート15を収納したカートリツジ18の着脱を行
なうのは、熱記録ヘツド20が第5図の位置にあ
る場合に限られるため、検出部材21はカートリ
