ル剤12と同様の材料で形成された注入部の壁14から
成る形状が知られていた。

し、表示品位が低下するという欠点を有していた。

ルを形成し、該シール剤に設けられた注入部から、該間
隙に液晶を封入してなる液晶表示装置において、前記注
入部の形状が、液晶の液晶セル内での流入方向がほぼ一
定方向となるように形成したことを特徴とする。

[実 施 例] 実施例1 第1図(a)の液晶表示装置の平面図に示すように液晶

一定にするための壁部4によって形成した。次にシール
剤2によって設けられた所定の間隙に液晶5を真空注入
法によって注入したところ、第1図(b)に示すように
注入部の辺に対して平行に液晶5が注入された0次に所
定の間隙に完全に液晶が充填された後注入口をエポキシ
系の接着剤で封止し液晶表示装置を構成した結果、注入
口付近に配向むらや配向不良は発生せず、高品位の液晶
表示装置が得られた。

。又、壁部4はシール剤2を形成すると同時に形成して
も良いし、各工程に分けても良いことはいうまでもなく
明らかである。
