Abstract

PURPOSE:To surely correct the bias feed of a sheet by leading a sheet guided by a guide plate from a rigid one of a pair of conveyer rotors to the nip section thereof. CONSTITUTION:A sheet guided by a guide plate 4 is made to abut against the nip section N between a pair of conveying rotors which are an elastic rotor 1 and a rigid rotor 2 so that its bias feed is corrected, and is then conveyed by the pair of rotors 1, 2. The guide plate 4 is inclined so that the downstream end 4b thereof is directed to the rigid rotor 2, and a resilient sheet 5 is arranged on the guide plate 4, having its forward end which is inclined along the inclined section 4b and is directed to the rigid rotor 2. Accordingly, the sheet guided on the resilient sheet 5 is led to the rigid rotor 2 and is made to abut against the nip section N so as to form a loop. Accordingly, the sheet surely abuts against the nip section N without abutting against the resilient rotor 1 beforehand. Further, upon conveyance of a sheet, it is possible to prevent the conveyance of the sheet from being hindered by the resiliency of the resilient sheet 5.
