するヘルプ画面に切り換えることによりここでどの様な
入力操作をすれば良いかを知り、これに基づき所要の入

面切換要求キー（図示なし）が押されたとき、例えばカ
ーソルで指示されている入力データ表示領域を検出し、
その情報を制御装置２に知らせる。制御装置２はこの情
報に基づきファイル３２Ａ〜３２Ｎから所定のファイル
を選択し、入出力制御部１１に与えることによりカーソ
ル位置に対応するヘルプ画面をデイスプレィ１２上に表
示する。このヘルプ画面には、カーソルで指示されてい
る入力データ表示領域が転記されているので所望のデー
タを設定することができる。
以下、第２図も参照して、動作を説明する。なお、第２
図は制御装置の動作を説明するためのフローチャートで
ある。
アプリケーションプログラム４から制御装置２に対して
初期画面の表示要求が与えられると、制御装置２は初期
表示画面（メニュー画面）の表示を画面表示装置１に指
示する（初期画面の画面表示装置へのロード；■参照）
。画面表示装置１は初期表示画面のファイル３１にもと
づき固定表示画面をデータ１２に表示すると＼もに、入
力データ表示領域の登録を行なう。その後、図示されな
い画面切換要求キーが押されると、カーソルの位置する
入力表示領域情報が制御装置２に与えられる（■、■、
■参照）。制御装置２は画面表示装置１から送られて来
た情報（どの入力データ表示領域かを示す情報）と、現
在どの表示画面を表示しているかという情報（制御装置
自身が記憶している）をもとにして次に表示すべき画面
（ヘルプ画面）をファイル３２Ａ〜３２Ｎの中から１つ
選択しその画面の表示を画面表示装置１に対して指示す
る（■参照）。なお、この指示に先立ち、初期表示画面
の消去を画面表示装置１に対して指示しておくこととす
る（■参照）。その後、表示されたヘルプ画面の入力デ
ータ表示領域にデータを入力していく（■参照）。その
時、画面表示装置１の終了キーが押されことが制御装置
２によって検出されると、現在表示中の画面がヘルプ画
面ならばメニュー画面に入力データ表示領域を転記し戻
る（■、■参照）と共に、現在表示中の画面がメニュー
画面ならば制御装置２は動作を終了し、アプリケーショ
ンプログラム４に制御を戻す（［相］参照）。
従って、メニュー画面Ｍとヘルプ画面Ａ１〜ＡＮとの関
係が例えば第３図の如く示されるものとすると、キーボ
ード１３において画面切換要求キーが押されたとき２例
えば入力データ表示領域Ｒ１が図示されないカーソル等
によって指示されているならば、これと対応するヘルプ
画面Ａ１が表示され、Ｒ１が図示されないカーソル等に
