Claims (1)
- 硬度の異なる材料からなり軸方向に対向する１
対の摺動リングのうちの一方をハウジングの内周
に、他方をシヤフトの外周に気密的に装着すると
ともに、スプリングからの軸方向荷重によつて該
両リング同士を密接摺動させ、軟質側摺動リング
の摺動面に該摺動面と同心の環状溝を有するドラ
イ摺動型メカニカルシールにおいて、硬質側摺動
リングに、一端が前記環状溝に向けて開口し他端
が該開口箇所よりも下方となる箇所に開口する貫
通孔を穿設して、前記環状溝内を該貫通孔を介し
て外部へ開放するとともに、前記硬質側摺動リン
グの端面のうち前記貫通孔の環状溝側開口の近傍
でかつ該開口から見て回転方向側となる位置に、
前記環状溝内へ突出する突起部を設けたことを特
徴とするドライ摺動型メカニカルシール。
