Abstract

PURPOSE:To exert no effect on an image and sound during recording at all even under a ferromagnetic field condition, by forming a case for keeping a magnetic recording medium from a superconductive membrane. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic tape 2 is received in a case 1 in a state wound around a reel 3. A tape keeping case 5 capable of receiving the case 1 is formed for example, by using a superconductive material such as yttrium, barium or copper and the case 1 is received in the tape keeping case 5 to be kept for a time other than a recording/reconstitution time. The magnetic recording medium keeping case 5 plays the roll of a magnetic shield to be ferromagnetic field approaching the case or present in the vicinity of said case and exerts no effect on an already recorded image or music signal at all and can hold and regenerate a beautiful image or sound signal for any length of time.
