て、走査時の映像信号の平均直流レベル最大値及
び最小値を検出しその信号により表示像の輝度及
びコントラストを自動調整する機構を持つ装置に
おいて、表示像の輝度及びコントラストを自動調
整する際は、ビームの走査範囲を表示像上のそれ
ぞれ任意に可変可能な位置、範囲に限定し、その
指定範囲のみを走査して得られる映像信号より表
示像の輝度及びコントラストを自動調整する機構
を備えたことを特徴とする走査形電子顕微鏡等の
像画質調整装置。 2 実用新案登録請求の範囲第1項において、像
画質調整時および観察時の両方またはいずれか一
方の表示像上に、像の輝度およびコントラストを
自動調整する際のビームの走査範囲を、表示像の
