Claims (10)
- 患者の腕から導入される肝動脈用のカテーテルであって、
基端から先端まで実質的に同じ平面上に位置して連通する管状体を有し、
前記管状体は、内層、外層および前記管状体に埋め込まれた補強体を有し、
前記管状体は、略直線状の本体部と、実質的に同じ平面で屈曲して形状付けられた形状部と、を有し、
前記形状部は、
前記本体部よりも先端側で第1の角を規定する第1屈曲部と、
前記第1屈曲部よりも先端側で第2の角を規定し、前記第1屈曲部と同じ側へ曲がる第2屈曲部と、
前記第2屈曲部よりも先端側で第3の角を規定し、前記第2屈曲部と反対側へ曲がる第3屈曲部と、
前記第3屈曲部よりも先端側に配置される最先端部と、を有し、
前記第1屈曲部と前記第2屈曲部とは、前記第1屈曲部の曲率半径および前記第2屈曲部の曲率半径よりも大きい曲率半径で前記第1屈曲部および前記第2屈曲部と同方向に曲がる部位を挟んで直線的な部位を挟まずに接続され、
前記第1屈曲部の基端側の端部と前記第2屈曲部の先端側の端部の間に曲げ剛性が先端側に向かって低くなる物性変化点を有することを特徴とするカテーテル。 - 前記物性変化点は、前記第1屈曲部に配置されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記物性変化点は、前記第2屈曲部に配置されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記物性変化点は、前記第1屈曲部と前記第2屈曲部の間に配置されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記物性変化点は、前記補強体の端部である、請求項1~4のいずれか1項に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記第2屈曲部が腹腔動脈の血管壁に接触して配置された時に、前記最先端部が総肝動脈を向き、前記第1屈曲部が、腹腔動脈と反対側の下行大動脈の壁面に接触する、ことを特徴とする、請求項1~5のいずれか1項に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記第1屈曲部は、前記本体部の先端から先端方向へ延在しつつ一方向側へ曲がり、
前記第2屈曲部と前記第3屈曲部とは、直接的に、または直線的な部位を挟んで接続され、
前記最先端部は、前記第3屈曲部の先端から先端方向へ延在することを特徴とする、請求項1~6のいずれか1項に記載のカテーテル。 - 前記管状体の先端開口部から軸心に沿って基端方向へ400mm以下の範囲を被覆する潤滑性コートを有することを特徴とする、請求項1~7のいずれか1項に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記潤滑性コートは、前記管状体の先端開口部から軸心に沿って基端方向へ200mm以下の範囲を被覆することを特徴とする、請求項8に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記潤滑性コートは、前記管状体の先端開口部から軸心に沿って基端方向へ150mmの範囲を被覆することを特徴とする、請求項8に記載のカテーテル。
