更に詳述すると、本発明では、口腔用組成物において、(A)成分に(B)成分を併用することで、独特かつ持続する顕著な歯茎の引き締まり感(使用直後から時間が経過しても歯茎が引き締まったという感じが持続して残り、顕著に感じられる独特な感覚、以下「歯茎の引き締まり感」と略記することもある)を与え、歯茎において感じられる高い効果実感を付与することができた。なお、前記歯茎の引き締まり感は、(A)成分に(B)成分が効果実感付与剤として特異的に作用することで得られる独特な感覚であり、例えば他の収斂剤による収斂感とは異なるものであった。また更に、(A)成分に(B)成分を併用すると、(A)成分由来の異味が著しく発現して後味が悪くなるという問題が生じたが、(C)成分を更に添加することで、上記のように異味を憎悪させることなく改善し、味の良い使用感を保って、上記歯茎の引き締まり感によって高い効果実感を与えることができた。
後述の比較例に示すように、口腔用組成物が(A)成分を含有し、(B)及び(C)成分を含有しないと、歯茎の引き締まり感(使用直後及び使用して10分間経過後の歯茎の引き締まり感)が低く(比較例1)、(A)及び(B)成分を含有し、(C)成分を含有しないと、使用後の異味(異味のなさ)が悪く使用に適さないものであった(比較例2)。これに対して、実施例に示す本発明の(A)、(B)及び(C)成分を含有する口腔用組成物は、歯茎の引き締まり感及び使用後の異味(異味のなさ)が優れていた。
なお、特許文献2、3(特開平8-151324号公報、特開平8-151325号公報)には、リジン又はアルギニンと抗菌活性を示す化合物との併用によってバイオフィルムへの抗菌活性が改善することが提案され、特許文献4(特表2019-532946号公報)では、トラネキサム酸やイプシロンアミノカプロン酸と第一スズイオン源とを併用し、口腔ケア組成物に歯肉創傷治癒及び抗菌効果を付与しており、また、特許文献5(特開2017-155010号公報)では、イプシロンアミノカプロン酸にピロリドンカルボン酸やビタミン等を組み合わせて配合し、抗炎症効果及び変色安定性を改善しているが、これらは効果実感の改善ではない。これに対して、本発明は、(A)、(B)及び(C)成分を組み合わせることで、独特かつ持続する顕著な歯茎の引き締まり感を付与して(A)成分による効果実感を顕著に改善し、異味改善もなし得たものである。

Those that secured the evaluations of ◎ and ○ were judged to be dentifrice compositions that left no unpleasant taste after use, had a suppressed unpleasant taste, and were good tasting.
