Description

The present invention relates to a business card system, device, method and program.

Patent document 1 describes a card with business card content displayed on its exposed surface, and an NFC tagged business card that has a tag memory section provided on part of or within the exposed surface of the card, in which the address of the destination to which specified content is provided is stored.

However, for example, when users meet for the first time, they may exchange paper business cards when exchanging greetings. When a user who receives a paper business card wants to use the business card information, such as the name and telephone number, on a terminal device, the user must manually input the business card information into the terminal device. Conventionally, it has been difficult to manage multiple pieces of business card information even if the business card information is input into the terminal device.
An object of the present invention is to facilitate the input of business card information to a terminal device and the management of the input business card information.

For this purpose, the technology disclosed in this specification is a business card system that allows a recipient user to receive business card information including at least the name of an owning user who owns a card, and is characterized by comprising: a registration means for registering the business card information of the owning user; a reading means provided in a terminal device of the recipient user for reading specific information associated with the business card information from the card on which the specific information is written; a management means for storing and managing the business card information obtained from the registration means based on the specific information read by the reading means in a storage means of the terminal device; and a display control means for displaying the business card information managed by the management means on a display unit of the terminal device.

Here, when the business card information is acquired, permission to associate the business card information with a telephone directory means for managing telephone numbers in the terminal device of the recipient user may be accepted from the recipient user.

For this purpose, the technology disclosed in this specification is an apparatus that includes a reading means for reading specific information associated with business card information including at least the user's name from a card on which the specific information is written, a management means for storing in a storage means the business card information obtained from a registration means in which the user's business card information is registered, based on the specific information read by the reading means, and a display control means for displaying on a display unit the business card information managed by the management means.

In addition, for this purpose, the technology disclosed in this specification is a method for enabling a recipient user to receive business card information including at least the name of an owning user who owns a card, the method comprising the steps of: registering the business card information of the owning user; reading specific information from the card, which is provided in a terminal device of the recipient user and on which specific information associated with the business card information is written; storing and managing the business card information obtained based on the read specific information in a storage means of the terminal device; and displaying the managed business card information on a display unit of the terminal device.

For this purpose, the technology disclosed in this specification is a program that enables a computer to realize the following functions: reading specific information associated with business card information, including at least the user's name, from a card on which the specific information is written; storing and managing the business card information obtained from a registration means in which the user's business card information is registered, in a storage means, based on the specific information read from the card; and displaying the managed business card information on a display unit.

The present invention makes it easy to input business card information into a terminal device and to manage the input business card information.

<Business Card System 1>
FIG. 1 is a schematic diagram of a business card system 1 according to the present embodiment.

As shown in Figure 1, the business card system 1 includes a card 10 owned by user A, a first terminal device 30 used by user A, a second terminal device 50 used by user B, an administrator terminal device 70 used by an administrator of the system, and a server device 90 that manages information in the system.

The card 10 is capable of short-distance wireless communication with the first terminal device 30 or the second terminal device 50. The first terminal device 30, the second terminal device 50, the administrator terminal device 70, and the server device 90 are connected to each other via a network. The network is not particularly limited as long as it is a communication network used for data communication between the devices.

As shown in FIG. 2, in the business card system 1 of this embodiment, the user A holds the card 10 over the second terminal device 50 of the user B.
Then, as shown in Figure 3, a web screen 500 containing basic information 501 such as user A's name, company name, job title, contact information, as well as business card information including an icon image 503 and a business card image 502 is displayed on the screen of the second terminal device 50 used by user B.

In this embodiment, an application program (hereinafter, a business card app) dedicated to the business card system 1 can be installed in the second terminal device 50. When the business card app is installed in the second terminal device 50, the business card information is managed by the business card app. Then, the second terminal device 50 displays the business card information based on the business card app.
As shown in Fig. 4(A), the business card application displays an application management screen 600 for viewing and searching multiple pieces of business card information on the screen of the second terminal device 50. Then, as shown in Fig. 4(B), the business card application displays an application screen 650 on which business card information including basic information 501 such as user A's name, company name, job title, and contact information, an icon image 503, and a business card image 502 is described on the screen of the second terminal device 50 used by user B.

As described above, in the business card system 1, for example, user A can transmit the business card information of user A to user B in the same way as if user A were handing a paper business card to user B. Furthermore, in the business card system 1, after the business card information is acquired by the business card app, it is possible to manage the business card information in the second terminal device 50.
Each component that realizes the business card system 1 of this embodiment will be described in detail below.

(Card 10)
The card 10 is a plastic card equipped with an IC chip and an antenna coil. The card 10 of this embodiment has a function of near field communication (NFC (registered trademark)). The card 10 can write various information from outside to the IC chip and read information stored in the IC chip to the outside. That is, the card 10 can exchange information with, for example, the first terminal device 30 and the second terminal device 50 that function as card readers and writers, and the administrator terminal device 70 that has a card reader and writer 71.

In addition, any content can be printed on the front and back of the card 10. In the business card system 1 of this embodiment, when issuing the card 10, the user is asked to select a design from a number of templates, or a specific design is accepted from the user. The business card system 1 then prints the accepted design on the card 10. The design can be the same as a paper business card, for example, a pattern, a solid color, or the name of user A or the name of the company.

(First terminal device 30, second terminal device 50)
The first terminal device 30 and the second terminal device 50 (hereinafter, when the first terminal device 30 and the second terminal device 50 are not particularly distinguished from each other, they are collectively referred to as "terminal devices") are configured as portable computing devices such as smartphones. The terminal devices function as clients in the business card system 1.

Figure 5 shows an example of the hardware configuration of a terminal device.

As shown in FIG. 5, the terminal device includes a CPU 301, a RAM 302, a ROM 303, a memory unit 304, a display 305, a speaker 306, a microphone 307, a camera 308, a GPS sensor 309, a short-range wireless communication circuit 310, a network I/F 313, and a BLE I/F (not shown).

The CPU 301 loads various programs stored in the ROM 303 or the like into the RAM 302 and executes them to realize various functions of the terminal device.
The RAM 302 is a memory used as a working memory for the CPU 301, etc.
The ROM 303 is a memory that stores various programs executed by the CPU 301 .
The storage unit 304 is, for example, a flash memory that stores various application programs and various data used by the programs.
The display 305 is, for example, a touch panel that displays various information to the user and accepts operational inputs from the user.

The speaker 306 outputs various sounds including the voice received from the other party.
The microphone 307 captures various sounds including the user's speech.
The camera 308 includes a lens and an imaging element (image sensor) such as a complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS), and captures an image of a subject.

The GPS sensor 309 acquires a GPS (Global Positioning System) signal and obtains location information of the terminal device.
The short-range wireless communication circuit 310 is a communication circuit such as NFC.
The network I/F 313 transmits and receives data to and from other communication devices, and communicates with the server device 90 and the like via the network.
The BLE I/F (not shown) is a BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy (registered trademark)) communication circuit.

(Administrator terminal device 70, server device 90)
The administrator terminal device 70 is a terminal device used by an administrator who manages the services of the business card system 1. The administrator terminal device 70 accesses information from the server device 90 to issue cards 10, manage users, and manage various types of information such as business card information.
The server device 90 manages information input via the administrator terminal device 70, and transmits the information it manages to the terminal device in response to a request from the terminal device.

Figure 6 shows an example of the hardware configuration of the administrator terminal device 70 and the server device 90.

As shown in FIG. 6, the administrator terminal device 70 includes a CPU (Central Processing Unit) 701, which is a computing means; a ROM (Read Only Memory) 702, which is a storage area for storing programs such as a BIOS (Basic Input Output System); and a RAM (Random Access Memory) 703, which is an execution area for the programs. The administrator terminal device 70 also includes a HDD (Hard Disk Drive) 704, which is a storage area for storing various programs such as an OS (Operating System) and applications, input data for the various programs, and output data from the various programs. The administrator terminal device 70 also includes a communication interface (communication I/F) 705 for communicating with the outside, and a short-range wireless communication circuit 706. The short-range wireless communication circuit 706 is provided in a card reader/writer 71 (see FIG. 1) that writes information to the card 10 and reads information from the card 10.

The basic hardware configuration of the server device 90 is the same as that of the administrator terminal device 70 described with reference to FIG. 6.

(Terminal device)
FIG. 7 is a diagram illustrating an example of the configuration of a terminal device.

Next, a configuration example of the terminal devices (first terminal device 30, second terminal device 50) will be described with reference to FIG.
The terminal device has a telephone directory management unit 31 that manages a telephone directory, a card reading unit 33 that reads information from a card 10, an information display unit 35 that displays information to the user, and an application management unit 37 that manages applications.

The phone book management unit 31 stores and manages the phone numbers of other users with whom the user who owns the terminal device interacts. The phone book management unit 31 manages various information of other users, such as their names and addresses, in association with their phone numbers. Note that the information related to the phone book managed by the phone book management unit 31 is managed independently of the business card app.

When the card 10 or the like is held over the terminal device, the card reading unit 33 reads specific information from the card 10 or the like. When the card 10 or the like comes into contact with a portion of the terminal device where the short-range wireless communication circuit 310 is provided, or when the card 10 or the like is located within a certain distance, the card reading unit 33 reads specific information from the card 10 or the like.
In this embodiment, the information (URL) of the card 10 once read by the card reading unit 33 is stored in the memory unit 304 .

The information display unit 35 displays various information on the display 305 based on predetermined conditions. The information display unit 35 also displays information on the display 305 to accept operations and instructions from the user.

The application management unit 37 manages the applications installed on the terminal device. The server device 90 has a user management unit 91 that manages user information, which is information about users, an operation management unit 93 that manages the operation of business card information, a page management unit 95 that manages web pages related to the business card information, an information transmission unit 97 that transmits various information to terminal devices, and an application distribution unit 99 that distributes apps.

The user management unit 91 manages user information using a user management table 910. As shown in FIG. 9, the user management table 910 includes information about users, such as "user account," "name," "furigana," "organization name," "organization furigana," "job title," "department," "major industry," "minor industry," "telephone number," "organization address," "organization telephone number," "SNS information," "business card image," and "icon image." In this embodiment, this information about users is called business card information. Note that this business card information is information specified by user A who performs registration.

A "user account" is information for uniquely identifying a user. For a user account, for example, an email address of the user can be used.
"Name" is information about the user's name. "Furigana" is information about how to read the name.

"Sub-industries" are items that are categorized in smaller categories than the major industries, and are more specific than the major industries. For example, if the major industry is the service industry, examples of sub-industries include beauty, professional services, broadcasting, electricity, and security.

"Phone number" is information about the user's personal phone number.
"Organization address" is information about the address of an organization, such as a company, to which the user belongs.
The "organization phone number" is a phone number used to contact the user at the company to which the user belongs.
"SNS information" is information related to a social network service (SNS) used by the user. Examples of SNS information include SNS account information.

"Business card image" is information about an image of a paper business card of a user. The business card image can be, for example, an image obtained by scanning the front and back of a paper business card. The business card image can also be an image in the shape of a business card created based on information such as the name in the business card information.
The business card image can display the name, phonetic reading, organization name, organization phonetic reading, job title, department, telephone number, organization address, organization telephone number, SNS information, and email address of the user account. Furthermore, the business card image can include videos and special decorative effects that cannot be expressed on a paper business card.
On the other hand, information regarding major and minor industries is not displayed in the business card image. In this manner, the business card information managed by the user management unit 91 includes information that is not used in the business card image.

An "icon image" is an image used to represent a user when displaying the user's business card information. The icon image can be a photo of the user's face or any image designated by the user.

Furthermore, in the business card system 1 of this embodiment, more private information such as the user's date of birth, place of birth, blood type, etc. can also be registered in the business card information. This private information can be registered at the user's discretion, separately from the basic information.

Furthermore, for example, information regarding the vaccination certificate may be registered as the business card information. In this case, the user management unit 91 registers the information regarding the vaccination certificate received from the user in the user management table 910. Examples of the information regarding the vaccination certificate include a photographic image of the vaccination certificate and text information such as a certificate number. For example, the information regarding user A's vaccination certificate can be confirmed by user B who views the business card information.
In addition to the vaccination certificate, various certificates such as qualifications and licenses may be registered in the user management table 910 and made viewable as business card information.

The user management unit 91 receives the above-mentioned business card information, for example, from a user. The user management unit 91 associates other information with a user account for each user. The user management unit 91 then stores and manages the business card information received from the user in the user management table 910.

The user management unit 91 is also capable of accepting updates to business card information from the user. When the user management unit 91 accepts an update to the business card information from the user, it passes information related to the changes to the business card information to the information transmission unit 97. In the business card system 1 of this embodiment, the user can update the business card information by accessing the server device 90 via a personal page displayed on the terminal device.

The operation management unit 93 manages the operation of business card information using an operation management table 930. As shown in FIG. 10, the operation management table 930 includes information related to operation such as "user account," "URL," "publication," and "use."

The “user account” is the same as that managed by the user management unit 91 .
A "URL" is information that identifies the location of a business card information page on the Internet. A URL is created individually for each user account. In this embodiment, the URL is created using a random sequence of alphanumeric characters and uppercase and lowercase letters.

"Public" is an item for managing the public disclosure of, for example, a user's business card information. When the public disclosure of a user's business card information is to be stopped, "Private" is displayed in the item corresponding to that user. On the other hand, when the public disclosure is not to be stopped, "Public" is displayed in the item corresponding to the user.

The page management unit 95 creates a business card information web screen 500 (see FIG. 3) that summarizes the user's business card information. The business card app can be, for example, installed in the second terminal device 50 of user B. The business card app is used by user B, who receives business card information of user A by holding the card 10 of user A over the second terminal device 50, to manage the business card information in the second terminal device 50.
The business card application is capable of communicating with the server device 90. That is, the application is capable of referring to information managed by the server device 90 by linking with the server device 90.

The business card app also stores multiple pieces of business card information in the memory unit 304 of the second terminal device 50 and manages the business card information. In this case, the business card app manages the multiple pieces of acquired business card information. In this way, the business card app handles the business card information exchanged in this system. When the business card app presents the business card information to user B, it reads out the multiple pieces of business card information stored in the memory unit 304 of the second terminal device 50. In other words, the business card app can display pre-stored business card information even when it is not constantly connected to a network, for example.

The business card app also enables the user to search for multiple pieces of business card information using conditions desired by the user. The business card app then displays the business card information that matches the search conditions as search results on the display 305.

FIG. 11 shows an example of an application management screen 600 displayed by the business card application of this embodiment.
As shown in FIG. 11A, an application management screen 600 includes a text search section 601, an industry search section 602, a sorting section 603, and a business card information list 604.

The text search section 601 is a section for accepting input of search conditions by text. Text can be input as search conditions to the text search section 601. Examples of search conditions include various information contained in business card information, such as a name and a company name.
The business type search section 602 is a display for performing a search of a plurality of managed business card information items based on the business type. As shown in FIG. 11B, the business type search section 602 displays a reception section 612 for receiving search conditions such as major business types and minor business types.

The sorting section 603 is a display for sorting a plurality of managed business card information items, such as the date and time of business card exchange, alphabetical order of names, alphabetical order of company names, etc. As shown in Fig. 11 (C), the sorting section 603 displays a reception section 613 for receiving the sorting conditions, such as the date and time of business card exchange, alphabetical order of names, alphabetical order of company names, etc.
The business card information list 604 displays a list of multiple business card information items based on, for example, search results received from a user or predetermined conditions. In the second terminal device 50 of this embodiment, for example, a business card app can be used to search for information that is not displayed in the business card image. The basic configuration of the app screen 650 of this embodiment is similar to that of the web screen 500 (see FIG. 3). However, the app screen 650 differs from the web screen 500 in that it has a memo section 651 and an information sharing section 652 (see FIG. 4B).
In the memo field 651, the user can enter any memo (text) for each business card information (individual). The information entered in the memo field is stored in the storage unit 304 of the second terminal device 50 in which the business card application is installed. In addition, the information stored in the memo field 651 can be searched by the user via the application management screen 600.
The information sharing section 652 enables the sharing of business card information with other people using other communication tools such as messengers and emails.

On the other hand, the web screen 500 differs from the app screen 650 in that it has a map image 506 (see FIG. 3). The map image 506 is displayed alongside the address information, displaying a map corresponding to the address information. The web screen 500 is premised on displaying business card information while the second terminal device 50 is connected to the Internet. For this reason, the web screen 500 is capable of displaying the latest map image 506 by using a link to a website that provides map image information.

Next, the registration screen 520 for registering business card information will be specifically described.
FIG. 12 is a diagram showing an example of a registration screen 520 according to this embodiment.
For example, when user A uses the first terminal device 30 to register his/her business card information, a registration screen 520 is displayed on the display 305 of the first terminal device 30 as shown in FIG.
An icon image 521 and a name 522 are displayed on the registration screen 520. In the example of Fig. 12, the icon image 521 and the name 522 have already been registered, and this information is reflected on the registration screen 520.

Furthermore, the registration screen 520 is provided with a business card image input section 523 and a business card information input field 524 .
The business card image input section 523 is used when uploading a business card image obtained by, for example, scanning a paper business card owned by the user A. The user A can specify the business card image to be uploaded by using the buttons provided in the business card image input section 523.

As explained with reference to the user management table 910, the input field 524 is provided with fields for inputting various information constituting the business card information. In addition, in the "Major Industry" and "Minor Industry" fields, User A can select the relevant item from predetermined items using a pull-down menu. This prevents inconsistencies in the notation and expression of the industry, and makes it easier to search using a business card app, etc.

Next, a management screen 710 that is referred to by the administrator of this system will be described.

In this embodiment, a management screen 710 that is used by the administrator to manage the system is displayed on the display of the administrator terminal device 70 (see FIG. 1). The administrator performs various management operations via the management screen 710 displayed on the administrator terminal device 70.

As shown in FIG. 13, a management screen 710 is provided with management items 711 .
The management items 711 include a “company management button”, a “user management button”, a “business card archive”, a “personal contract URL management button”, a “corporate contract URL management button”, a “card reissue button”, a “operator management button”, and a “SNS settings button”.

The company management button is used to manage users who use this system on a company basis. Pressing this button displays a screen for managing users of the company.
The user management button is used to manage users who use the system on an individual basis. Pressing this button displays a user management screen 720 (see FIG. 14, described later) for managing individual users.

The business card archive is a button used when managing the business card information registered in this system. By pressing this button, a complete list 713 of the business card information registered in this system is displayed on the screen, as shown in FIG. 13. Along with the complete list 713, a search section 712 for searching for business card information is also displayed on the screen.

The Individual Contract URL Management button is used to manage URLs issued to users who use the service on an individual basis. Pressing this button displays a screen for issuing URLs and associating URLs with user accounts.
The Corporate Contract URL Management button is used to manage URLs issued to users who use the service on a corporate basis. Pressing this button displays a screen for issuing URLs for use by the company and for associating URLs with the company's user accounts.
