Description
送達装置は、医療装置のチャンネルを通して標的組織へ薬を送達するように構成され得る。送達装置は、本体と、薬源と、加圧流体源とを含み得る。該本体は(a)医療装置のハンドルに取り外し自在に取り付けるように構成された結合領域と、(b)チャンネルのポートと整合するための出口ポートを含む結合器とを含み、結合器は、チャンネルのポートとに接続されるように構成される。本体、薬源、及び加圧流体源は、チャンネルを通して送達用の出口ポートへ薬と加圧流体とを送達するように配置され得る。
Claims (17)
- 医療装置のチャンネルを通して標的組織に薬を送達するように構成された送達装置であって、
本送達装置は本体を備え、該本体は、(a)前記医療装置のハンドルに取り外し自在に取り付けるように構成された結合領域と、(b)前記チャンネルのポートと整合するための出口ポートを含む結合器と、を含み、前記結合器の前記出口ポートは、前記チャンネルの前記ポートと接続されるように構成されており、
本送達装置は薬源を備え、該薬源はシリンダ状部分と前記シリンダ状部分の下端部に位置する漏斗部分とによって画成され、前記シリンダ状部分は薬を保管するように構成されるとともに前記漏斗部分は重力で前記シリンダ状部分から薬を受けるように構成され、
本送達装置は加圧流体源を備え、前記本体、前記薬源、及び前記加圧流体源は、前記薬源内に加圧流体を送達し、前記薬と前記加圧流体との混合物を前記薬源の外へ移動させ、さらに前記結合器の前記出口ポートへ移動させて、前記チャンネルを通して送達するように配置される、
送達装置。 - 前記結合領域は、前記医療装置のハンドルと接続されるように構成されたU字形状の表面を含む、請求項1に記載の送達装置。
- 前記U字形状の表面は、前記U字形状の表面と前記医療装置の前記ハンドルとの間の動きを阻止するための起伏を含む、請求項2に記載の送達装置。
- 前記結合領域は、前記医療装置の前記ハンドルにスナップ嵌めするように構成される、請求項1に記載の送達装置。
- 前記結合領域は、前記医療装置の前記ハンドルの周りに巻き付くように構成されたストラップを含む、請求項1に記載の送達装置。
- 前記医療装置の前記ハンドルは第1のハンドルであり、前記本体は第2のハンドルを含む、請求項1に記載の送達装置。
- 前記第2のハンドルは、加圧流体容器を受容するように構成された内部を含む、請求項6に記載の送達装置。
- 前記送達装置が前記第1のハンドルに結合された場合に、前記第2のハンドルの長手方向軸線は、前記第1のハンドルの長手方向軸線に対して概ね平行に延びる、請求項6に記載の送達装置。
- 前記送達装置が前記第1のハンドルに結合された場合に、前記第2のハンドルは前記第1のハンドルから離間される、請求項6に記載の送達装置。
- 前記第2のハンドルは、使用者の手の指に適応するように構成された複数の溝を含み、前記複数の溝を通って延びる軸線は、前記第1のハンドルの軸線に対して概ね平行である、請求項6に記載の送達装置。
- 前記結合器は、前記チャンネルの前記ポートと流体密封シールを形成して、前記出口ポートが前記チャンネルに流体接続されるように構成される、請求項1~10のいずれか1項に記載の送達装置。
- 前記結合器は、前記ポートと流体密封シールを形成するように前記ポートに圧入するように構成された圧入結合器である、請求項1~11のいずれか1項に記載の送達装置。
- 前記結合器は第1の結合器であり、前記出口ポートは第1の出口ポートであり、
本送達装置は第1のカテーテルをさらに備え、該第1のカテーテルは、第1の端部において、前記第1の結合器の前記第1の出口ポートに流体結合されており、
本送達装置はY型コネクタをさらに備え、該Y型コネクタは前記第1のカテーテルの第2の端部に流体結合されており、
本送達装置はシリンジをさらに備え、該シリンジは前記Y型コネクタに流体結合されており、
本送達装置は第2の結合器を備え、該第2の結合器は前記チャンネルのポートと整合するための第2の出口ポートを含み、前記第2の出口ポートは前記第1のカテーテル、前記Y型コネクタ、及び前記シリンジに流体接続され、前記第2の結合器の前記第2の出口ポートは前記医療装置の前記チャンネルの前記ポートと接続されるように構成される、
請求項1に記載の送達装置。 - 本送達装置は第2のカテーテルをさらに備え、該第2のカテーテルは第3の結合器を含み、前記第2のカテーテルは、前記Y型コネクタに流体接続され、前記Y型コネクタは前記第2の結合器に結合され、前記第3の結合器は前記医療装置の前記チャンネルの前記ポートと接続されるように構成される、請求項13に記載の送達装置。
- 前記医療装置の前記ハンドルは第1のハンドルであり、前記本体は、第2のハンドルを含む第1の近位部分と、第1の遠位部分と、前記結合領域を含む第2の近位部分とを含み、前記本体の前記第2の近位部分は、前記医療装置の前記第1のハンドルと接触するようになっており、
前記第1の近位部分、前記第2の近位部分、及び前記第1の遠位部分は、前記第1の遠位部分が前記第1の近位部分と前記第2の近位部分との間に配置された状態でU字形状を形成しており、前記第1の近位部分と前記第2の近位部分は、互いに隣接して配置され、当該第1の近位部分と当該第2の近位部分との間に配置された前記第1の遠位部分を介して接続されるようになっている、請求項1~14のいずれか1項に記載の送達装置。 - 本送達装置は移動可能に前記本体に結合されたトリガを含むアクチュエータをさらに備え、前記アクチュエータを引くことに応答して、前記本体、前記薬源、及び前記加圧流体源は、前記漏斗部分を介して上流側へ前記薬源の前記シリンダ状部分の内部に加圧流体を送達し、前記薬と前記加圧流体との混合物を前記薬源の外へ移動させる前に前記薬源内で薬を移動させ、さらに前記出口ポートに向けて移動させて、前記チャンネルを通して送達するように配置される、請求項1~15のいずれか1項に記載の送達装置。
- 前記アクチュエータは、選択的に前記アクチュエータを引くことに応答して、前記本体に対し相対的にピンを移動させるとともに前記加圧流体源と係合するように構成されており、それによって、前記加圧流体源を突き刺して、加圧流体を前記薬源内に放出する
