Claims (13)

湾曲部を含む第2支柱(604)であって、前記第2支柱(604)は、前記第2支柱(604)の湾曲部に第2可撓性接合部(608)を備え、前記第2可撓性接合部(608)は、第1セグメント端部(628)を有する第1セグメント(604a)と、第2セグメント端部(632)を有する第2セグメント(604b)とに前記第2支柱(604)を分割し、前記第2支柱(604)の第1セグメント端部(628)は、前記第2可撓性接合部(608)から遠位にあり、前記第2支柱(604)の第2セグメント端部(632)は、前記第2可撓性接合部(608)から遠位にある、第2支柱(604)と、
前記第1支柱(602)の前記第1セグメント(602a)に接続される第1端部と、前記第2支柱(604)の前記第1セグメント(604a)に接続される第2端部とを有する交差部材(610)であって、前記第1端部は、前記第1支柱(602)の第1可撓性接合部(606)よりも前記第1支柱(602)の第1セグメント(602a)の第1セグメント端部(626)に近く、前記第2端部は、前記第2支柱(604)の第2可撓性接合部(608)よりも前記第2支柱(604)の第1セグメント(604a)の第1セグメント端部(628)に近い、交差部材(610)と、
前記第1支柱(602)の前記第2セグメント(602b)に接続され、前記第1支柱(602)の前記第2セグメント端部(630)よりも前記第1支柱(602)の前記第1可撓性接合部(606)に近い、第1接合部材(614)と、
前記第2支柱(604)の前記第2セグメント(604b)に接続され、前記第2支柱(604)の前記第2セグメント端部(632)よりも前記第2支柱(604)の前記第2可撓性接合部(608)に近い第2接合部材(620)と、
を備え、
前記交差部材(610)、前記第1接合部材(614)、および前記第2接合部材(620)は、それぞれ、変形可能であり、前記セル(500)は、径方向における装置の拡大が縦方向における前記装置の拡大になるように構成される、セル。 - 前記第1接合部材は、第3端部を備え、

前記第3端部は、第2隣接セルの第4端部と接合するように構成される、請求項1に記載のセル。 - 前記セルは、所定の温度より低い温度で塑性変形することができ、前記所定の温度より高い温度で変形しない形状に戻る形状記憶材料から作られる、請求項1または2に記載のセル。
- 前記セルは、ニッケルチタン合金から作られる、請求項3に記載のセル。
- 前記第1接合部材(614)と前記第1支柱(602)の第2セグメント(602a)とが形成する角度および前記第2接合部材(620)と前記第2支柱(604)の第2セグメント(604b)とが形成する角度は、いずれも鋭角である、、請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載のセル。
- 請求項1に記載のセルを備えたステントにおいて、
複数の前記セルは、各セルの第1セグメント端部、第2セグメント端部、第1接合部材、および/または第2接合部材のうちの一つ又は複数を介して互いに相互接続されており、前記ステントは、径方向における前記ステントの拡大が長手方向における前記ステントの拡大になるように構成される、ステント。 - 前記複数のセルは、管状構造体を形成するように相互接続される、請求項6に記載のステント。
- 前記複数のセルは、第1セルセットおよび第2セルセット、第3セルセットを備え、
前記第1セルセット、前記第2セルセット、前記第3セルセットの各々は、管状構造体を備え、前記第1セルセットは、前記第2セルセットの第1端部に軸方向に付けられ、前記第3セルセットは、前記第2セルセットの第2端部に軸方向に付けられる、請求項7に記載のステント。 - 前記ステントは、第1端部と第2端部とを有し、前記端部のうちの1つは、複数の突起(barbs)を備える、請求項7または8に記載のステント。
- 前記ステントは、前記ステントに沿って軸方向に配置された複数の突起を備える、請求項7~9のいずれか一項に記載のステント。
- 前記複数のセルの各々は、所定の温度より低い温度で塑性変形することができ、前記所定の温度より高い温度で、変形しない形状に戻る形状記憶材料から作られる、請求項7~10のいずれか一項に記載のステント。
- 前記ステントは、ニッケルチタン合金から作られる、請求項11に記載のステント。
- 各セル(500)の第1接合部材(614)と前記第1支柱(602)の第2セグメント(602b)とが形成する角度および各セル(500)の第2接合部材(620)と前記第2支柱(604)の第2セグメント(604b)とが形成する角度は、いずれも鋭角である、請求項6~12のいずれか一項に記載のステント。
