Description
以下、繊維構造体Mを製造可能な繊維構造体製造装置1の構成について説明する。
溶融材料ホッパー13から投入される溶融材料は、溶融材料調整バルブ65によってその分量が調整され、この溶融材料搬送管61を経て搬送管60に供給され、溶融材料混入部を構成する搬送管60で搬送されている解繊繊維に溶融材料を混入させることができるようになっている。搬送量は、供給機を秤にのせその減量分を測定しバルブ開度を調整する方法で、精度をあげることもできる。
毛羽立たせ部200,210における毛羽立たせ方式は、いくつかあるが、図4にその一形態を模式的に示す。返しのついたニードル220を複数本設置(1本/cm2程度)したもので、例えば、パンチングメタル上に支持された第1及び第2シートN1,N2を貫通させ引き抜くことで、引き抜き側に毛羽立たせることが可能となる、ニードル220の本数を増やすことで毛羽立ちを多くすることができるが、第1及び第2シートN1,N2そのものの強度が低下するので、適度に合わせる必要がある。
加熱加圧される前の繊維構造体Mは、繊維状ウエブSの第1面部に第1シートN1が配され、繊維状ウエブSの第2面部に第2シートN2が配された状態となる。繊維状ウエブS中に示される糸状のものは、溶融材料である溶融樹脂繊維を示している。機能材料である難燃剤は、図示省略し、繊維状ウエブS中に示していない。
次いで、所定のタイミングで搬送ローラー243a,243bで第1シートN1をニップする。その後、搬送ローラー242a,242bを駆動させ、第1シートN1を搬送方向に搬送させる。このとき、回転ローラー245は、搬送ローラー242a,242bによる第1シートN1の搬送方向に抵抗になるように回転する。そして、搬送ローラー242a,242bと搬送ローラー243a,243bとの間で第1シートN1が張った状態となっていく。巻きかけが多くなる分、引っ掛かりが多くなり、毛羽立たせしやすくなる。次いで、所定のタイミングで搬送ローラー242a,242bの駆動を停止する。以降、上記の間欠動作を繰り返し行う。
なお、搬送ローラー242a,242bと搬送ローラー243a,243bとを同時に駆動させ、一定速度で搬送される第1シートN1に対して回転ローラー245を接触させて毛羽立たせてもよい。また、第1シートN1の搬送速度や回転ローラー245の回転速度を変化させることで動脈駆動させてもよい。
Claims (4)
- 繊維を含有する繊維原料を粉砕して解繊する解繊部と、
前記解繊部で解繊された解繊物を搬送する搬送部と、
前記搬送部で搬送される前記解繊物に溶融材料を混入する溶融材料混入部と、
前記溶融材料が混入された混合物を堆積させて繊維状ウエブを成形する繊維状ウエブ成
形部と、
前記繊維状ウエブ成形部に形状維持シートを供給するシート供給部と、
前記形状維持シートと積層した前記繊維状ウエブを加熱加圧して繊維構造体を形成する
加熱加圧機構と、を有し、
前記シート供給部は、前記形状維持シートの前記繊維状ウエブと接する側の表面が毛羽
立った前記形状維持シートを供給する、ことを特徴とする繊維構造体製造装置。 - 前記シート供給部は、前記形状維持シートの前記表面を毛羽立たせる毛羽立たせ部を有
する請求項1に記載の繊維構造体製造装置。 - 繊維を含有する繊維原料を粉砕で解繊し、
解繊された解繊物を搬送し、搬送される前記解繊物に溶融材料を混入し、
前記溶融材料が混入された混合物を堆積させて繊維状ウエブを成形し、
前記繊維状ウエブと接触させる側の表面を毛羽立たせた形状維持シートを、成形された
前記繊維状ウエブに積層し、
前記形状維持シートが積層した前記繊維状ウエブを加熱加圧して繊維構造体を成形する
、ことを特徴とする繊維構造体製造方法。 - 繊維を含有する繊維原料を粉砕で解繊し、
解繊された解繊物を搬送し、搬送される前記解繊物に溶融材料を混入し、
表面を毛羽立たせた第1形状維持シートの前記表面上に、前記溶融材料が混入された混
合物を堆積させて繊維状ウエブを成形し、
前記繊維状ウエブを加熱加圧して繊維構造体を成形する、ことを特徴とする繊維構造体
製造方法。
