In addition, a side door 14 for people to enter and exit is provided on the side of the main luggage compartment 10, and a rear door 15 for entering and exiting the auxiliary luggage compartment 30 is provided on the rear side.

At least a portion of the rear door 15 is an upward-opening door 16, and a rain shield 17 is provided on both left and right ends of the upward-opening door 16. When the rear door 15 is closed, the rain shield 17 is stored in the cover 13 provided on the outer surface of the main cargo compartment 10, or between the outer plate 23 that constitutes the outer surface of the main cargo compartment 10 and the inner plate 24 that constitutes the inner surface (the latter is not shown, see FIG. 7 for the outer plate 23 and the inner plate 24). When the rear door 15 is opened, the rain shield 17 is configured to hang down from both left and right ends of the rear door 15. Furthermore, when the upward-opening door 16 is open, it is also possible to hang a curtain 18 or the like from the rear end of the upward-opening door 16 (see FIG. 8, FIG. 9, etc.).

In this embodiment, the upper part of the rear door 15 is an upward-opening door 16, and the lower part is a downward-opening door 19, each of which is connected to the rear end of the main cargo compartment 10 by hinges 20, 21. These upward-opening doors 16 and downward-opening doors 19 are provided with stoppers (not shown) to fix them in an approximately horizontally open state. In addition, the lower half of the rear door 15 is a downward-opening door 19, but this is not limited to this, and the door may open to the left or right, or all of the rear doors 15 may be upward-opening doors 16.

The auxiliary cargo room 30 is stored inside the main cargo room 10 through the opening 11 of the main cargo room 10, and has a nested structure with respect to the main cargo room 10. The rear of the auxiliary cargo room 30 is a wall surface 34 or a window (not shown), and the front is open and communicates with the main cargo room 10. The auxiliary cargo room 30 is configured to be able to be pulled outward from the opening 11 of the main cargo room 10 by the slide mechanism 31, and the cargo room 2 consisting of the main cargo room 10 and the auxiliary cargo room 30 can be expanded. As the slide mechanism 31, a known slide rail, roller, sliding bearing, etc. are used, and in this embodiment, a slide rail is used. In addition, a rubber packing (not shown) is provided in the gap s1 (see FIG. 7) between the auxiliary cargo room 30 and the main cargo room 10 to prevent the intrusion of outside air and insects. In addition, the floor surface 66 of the auxiliary cargo room 10 has an inclined portion 32 whose tip is inclined in a slope shape. Of course, when the auxiliary luggage compartment 30 is pulled out from the main luggage compartment 10, the rear door 15 is in an open state. It is also possible to not provide the rear door 15 and expose the rear wall surface 34 of the auxiliary luggage compartment 30 to the rear surface of the luggage compartment 1 for the vehicle, and use the wall surface 34 in place of the rear door 15.

The first interior structure 40 is a structure such as a chair, table, bed, or countertop that is placed in the luggage compartment 2. When the auxiliary luggage compartment 30 is stored, the main luggage compartment 10 and, if necessary, a portion of it are stored in the auxiliary luggage compartment 30. On the other hand, when the auxiliary luggage compartment 30 is pulled out, the first interior structure 40 does not follow the auxiliary luggage compartment 30 but remains next to the main luggage compartment 10. However, depending on the size of the first interior structure 40, a portion of it may remain in the auxiliary luggage compartment 30 even after the auxiliary luggage compartment 30 is pulled out. This first interior structure 40 is supported by an installation support part 41 and a rolling support part 42, which will be described later.

The details of the first interior structure 40, the mounting support 41, and the rolling support 42 will be described with reference to FIG. 13. The first interior structure 40 includes a top plate 43. Note that this top plate 43 is an example, and if the first interior structure 40 is a bed, for example, it will include a mattress. If it is a kitchen counter, it will be a member that includes a sink, a cooking device, and the like. The mounting support 41 is provided on the side of the main luggage compartment 10 of the first interior structure 40 and on the floor surface 65 of the main luggage compartment 10, and supports the top plate 43 (first interior structure 40). The mounting support 41 includes a leg 44, a rail fitting portion 47, and a bent portion 46. The leg 44 is a pipe material that extends downward from the bottom surface of the top plate 43. The rail fitting portion 47 is a member that is fitted into a groove of the rail 22 described later and is made movable along the rail 22. The bent portion 46 is provided between the leg 44 and the rail fitting portion 47, between the leg 44 and the top plate 43, or midway along the leg 44, and is bent around a horizontal axis 46a as a fulcrum to allow the top plate 43 to tilt. Note that the bent portion 46 is not necessary when there is play between the rail 22 and the rail fitting portion 46 to allow the top plate 43 to tilt, or when the leg 44 is elastically deformed to allow the top plate 43 to tilt.

The rolling support part 42 is provided on the side of the auxiliary luggage compartment 30 of the first interior structure 40 and has a caster 48 at its lower end to support the top plate 43 (first interior structure 40). The rolling support part 42 has a leg 45 in addition to the caster 48. The leg 45 is a pipe material extending downward from the bottom surface of the top plate 43. The caster 48 is a wheel provided at the lower end of the leg 45, and its direction is the same as the direction in which the auxiliary luggage compartment 30 is loaded and unloaded. If the leg 45 is provided with an extension mechanism 52 to make it extendable, the top plate 43 can be kept horizontal even when the auxiliary luggage compartment 30 is stored in the main luggage compartment 10 (the extension mechanism 52 is only shown in FIG. 13). In this embodiment, the extension mechanism 52 is a configuration in which the leg 45 inserted into the tube 53 is fixed with a fixing screw 54. However, it is also possible to screw the tube 53 with a female thread and the leg 45 with a male thread into each other, or to use other configurations such as a clamp mechanism to create an extension mechanism.

In addition, rails 22 are provided on the left and right sides of the floor surface 65 of the main cargo room 10, and the above-mentioned installation support part 41 is installed on the rails 22 so that it can slide. For example, a rail 22 with a concave cross section as shown in FIG. 19 can be used as this rail 22, and the lower end of the installation support part 41 can be fitted into the recess. However, this is not limited to this, and lip groove steel (C-shaped steel) or various linear bearings can also be used. Furthermore, the installation direction of the rail 22 is not limited to the left and right direction of this embodiment, and it may be installed in the front and rear direction or diagonally as long as it is along the floor surface of the main cargo room 10.

The fixing means 60 for preventing the installation support part 41 from moving along the rail 22 can be, for example, as shown in FIG. 19, a hole 62 in a bracket 61 provided on the installation support part 41 and a hole 63 in a floor surface 65 overlapped with a ball lock pin 64 inserted therein. However, the fixing means 60 is not limited to this, and various known methods or configurations can be used, such as other fixing means for the rail 22 or fixing the first interior structure 40 to the side of the main luggage compartment 10 or the auxiliary luggage compartment 30 with a band.

The second vehicle interior structure 50 is installed in the auxiliary luggage compartment 30 and is pulled out together with the auxiliary luggage compartment 30. Like the first vehicle interior structure 40, the second vehicle interior structure 50 is a structure such as a chair, table, bed, or countertop. The second vehicle interior structure 50 is attached to the ceiling, floor, or side of the auxiliary luggage compartment 30 by the second support 51. In this embodiment, four pipes are used as the second support 51, but this is not limited to this and may be, for example, a single leg. In addition, a pair of rails 33 are provided in the left and right directions of the floor of the auxiliary luggage compartment 30, and the second support 51 is installed so as to be able to slide on the rails 33. The second support 51 is fixed in the same manner as above, for example, by the method shown in FIG. 19. The second support 51 and the rail 33 may be attached to the ceiling or side of the auxiliary luggage compartment 30 (this is the same in other embodiments described later), and the attachment direction of the rail 33 may be in the front-rear direction or diagonal direction as long as it is substantially horizontal (this is the same in other embodiments described later).

Next, a method of using the vehicle luggage compartment 1 of this embodiment will be described with reference to Figs. 10 to 13 in addition to Figs. 1 to 9 above.

When the truck 5 is traveling, as shown in Figures 1 to 7, the auxiliary cargo compartment 30 is stored inside the main cargo compartment 10, and the rear door 15 is closed. At this time, as shown by the dashed lines in Figure 13, the casters 48 of the rolling support parts 42 ride up onto the floor surface of the auxiliary cargo compartment 30, and the top plate 43 tilts so as not to impede the storage of the auxiliary cargo compartment 30 into the main cargo compartment 10. In addition, the tilted parts 32 allow the casters 48 to ride up smoothly onto the floor surface 66 of the auxiliary cargo compartment 30.

Next, the truck 5 is parked, and the auxiliary cargo compartment 30 is pulled out from the opening 11 of the main cargo compartment 10 as shown in Figs. 8 and 9. First, the rear door 15 is opened to open the opening 11. Next, the auxiliary cargo compartment 30 is slid by the slide mechanism 31 and pulled out from the opening 11 of the main cargo compartment 10. At this time, the first interior structure 40 is left on the side of the main cargo compartment 10 because the installation support part 41 is installed on the rail 22. In addition, the rolling support part 42 is lowered to the floor surface 65 of the main cargo compartment 10 as shown by the solid line in Fig. 13 by its caster 48 rolling on the floor surface 66 of the auxiliary cargo compartment 30. At this time, too, the caster 48 can be smoothly lowered from the floor surface 66 of the auxiliary cargo compartment 30 to the floor surface 65 of the main cargo compartment 10 due to the presence of the inclined part 32. Meanwhile, the second interior structure 50 is pulled out together with the auxiliary cargo compartment 30.

The weight of the auxiliary cargo compartment 30 can be supported by installing a support mechanism (not shown) that hangs down from near its rear end and abuts against the ground as necessary after the auxiliary cargo compartment 30 is pulled out. The top and part of the side of the auxiliary cargo compartment 30 are covered by an upward-opening door 16 and a rain cover plate 17 attached to the upward-opening door 16, and part of the rear wall 34 is also covered by a curtain 18 as necessary.

As shown in FIG. 9, in the vehicle luggage compartment of the present invention, the length L2 of the auxiliary luggage compartment 30 is approximately 2/3 of the actual length (depth) L1 of the main luggage compartment 10 excluding the overhanging portion 12. The pull-out length L3 of the auxiliary luggage compartment 30 is approximately 2/5 of the length L1 of the main luggage compartment 10, and approximately 2/3 of the length L2 of the auxiliary luggage compartment 30. As shown in FIG. 6, when the auxiliary luggage compartment 30 is stored in the main luggage compartment 10, the usable length L5 is approximately 1/3 of the actual length L4 of the interior space of the main luggage compartment excluding the overhanging portion 12.

In general, if the auxiliary luggage compartment 30 is enlarged as described above and goes deep into the main luggage compartment 10, the usable length L5 of the floor of the main luggage compartment 10 becomes shorter when the auxiliary luggage compartment 30 is stored, so most of the interior structures, including the first interior structure 40, are installed in the auxiliary luggage compartment 30. If the auxiliary luggage compartment 30 is pulled out far with the interior structures installed in the auxiliary luggage compartment 30, the position of the interior structures changes significantly, making it difficult to use, and the center of gravity of the vehicle luggage compartment 1 moves significantly backward, and in some cases the vehicle luggage compartment 1 may tip over backward. Even if it does not tip over, the vehicle luggage compartment 1, including the truck 5, will tilt significantly backward, making it difficult to use. Furthermore, a large force will be applied to the slide mechanism 31, so the slide mechanism 31 must also have excellent load-bearing performance.

On the other hand, in the vehicle luggage compartment 1 of the present invention, at least the first interior structure 40 remains on the side of the main luggage compartment 10, so the center of gravity does not move significantly rearward, and it is easy to use. There is no particular limit to the extension length L3 of the auxiliary luggage compartment 30 as long as the slide mechanism 31 can withstand the weight of the auxiliary luggage compartment 30. For example, the entire length L2 of the auxiliary luggage compartment 30 may be extended.

。 10 to 12, the first interior structure 40 and the second interior structure 50 are moved on the rails 22, 33 to the desired position. At this time, the first interior structure 40 is moved by lifting the rolling support part 42 side and lifting the caster 48 off the floor surface 65. As an example of moving the first interior structure 40 and the second interior structure 50, in the state shown in FIG. 10, the first interior structure 40 is abutted against one side (right side) of the main luggage compartment 10 to expand the central space of the main luggage compartment 10. In addition, in the state shown in FIG. 11, the second interior structure 50 is abutted against one side of the auxiliary luggage compartment 30 to be continuous with the first interior structure 40. In the embodiment shown in FIG. 12, the second interior structure 50 is abutted against the other side (left side) of the auxiliary luggage compartment 30, and the first interior structure 40 is also adjacent to the other side of the main luggage compartment 10 and is continuous with the second interior structure 50. As shown in FIG. 11 and FIG. 12, by arranging the first interior structure 40 and the second interior structure 50 in a continuous manner, the vehicle luggage compartment 1 of this embodiment is also suitable for, for example, a kitchen car. In addition, in an embodiment without the second interior structure 50, the first interior structure 40 can be moved left and right even when the auxiliary luggage compartment 30 is stored in the main luggage compartment 10 (the same applies to other embodiments).

[Second embodiment]
Next, a second embodiment of the first interior structure 140 and its periphery will be described with reference to Fig. 14. The same parts as those in the first embodiment are given the same reference numerals, and their description will be omitted (this also applies to the embodiments described below). In this embodiment, a swivel caster 149 is used for the caster of the rolling support part 142. This makes it unnecessary to lift the side of the rolling support part 142 of the first interior structure 140 when moving the first interior structure 140 in the left-right direction as shown in Figs. 10 to 12.

[Third embodiment]
Next, a third embodiment of the first interior structure 240 and its periphery will be described with reference to Figures 15 and 16(A)-(C). In this embodiment, the rolling support part 242 includes a leg post 245, a caster switching part 270, a main caster 271, and a secondary caster 276. The leg post 245 is the same as in the embodiment already described. The caster switching part 270 is provided at the lower end of the leg post 245 (rolling support part 242), and its tip is configured to be rotatable from below toward the installation support part 241, i.e., in the direction in which the auxiliary luggage compartment 30 is stored.

The caster conversion unit 270 includes a rotatable main caster mounting unit 272, an axis 273 that supports the main caster mounting unit 272 near the lower end of the leg 245, and a biasing unit 274 that biases the main caster mounting unit 272 downward. In this embodiment, a coil spring 274 is used as the biasing unit 274, but it may be another spring or a weight 275 shown by the dashed line in Figure 16 (A).

The main caster 271 is provided at the tip of the main caster mounting part 272 and moves together with the main caster mounting part 272. As shown in FIG. 16 (A), when the main caster mounting part 272 (caster conversion part 270) is in the downward direction, the point where the main caster 271 abuts against the floor surface 65 of the main cargo compartment 10 is offset of 1 toward the auxiliary cargo compartment 30 by the axis 273, which is the fulcrum when the main caster mounting part 272 (caster conversion part 270) is rotated. Due to this offset of 1, when the auxiliary cargo compartment 30 is pulled out, the main caster mounting part 272 does not rotate toward the installation support part 241, providing excellent stability.

The secondary caster 276 is attached to the leg column 245 on the side of the main caster 271 that is closer to the secondary cargo room 30 by the secondary caster attachment portion 277. The secondary caster 276 is attached at a height such that when the lower end of the secondary caster 276 rests on the floor surface 66 of the secondary cargo room 30, the main caster 271 floats above the floor surface 65 of the main cargo room 10. For example, as shown in FIG. 16(B), when the secondary caster 276 rests on the floor surface 66 of the secondary cargo room 30, a gap s2 is created between the main caster 271 and the floor surface 65 of the main cargo room 10.

In this embodiment, the rotation of the caster conversion section 270 does not cause the top plate 43 to tilt when the auxiliary cargo compartment 30 is moved in or out. For this reason, it is not necessary to provide the installation support section 241 with a bending section 46 (see FIG. 14, etc.). There is also no need for the extension mechanism 52 as in the first embodiment. For the same reason, there is no need to provide an inclined section 32 (see FIG. 14, etc.) at the tip of the floor surface 66 of the auxiliary cargo compartment 30.

The operation of this embodiment will be described. In the state shown in Figures 15 and 16 (A), the auxiliary cargo compartment 30 is pulled out from the main cargo compartment 10, and the main caster 271 is in contact with the floor surface 65 of the main cargo compartment 10, and supports the weight of the first interior structure 240 (top plate 43) together with the installation support part 241. Next, when the auxiliary cargo compartment 30 is stored in the main cargo compartment 10, the auxiliary caster 276 first climbs up onto the floor surface 66 of the auxiliary cargo compartment 30, as shown in Figure 16 (B). At this time, the main caster 271 is in a state of floating above the floor surface 65 of the main cargo compartment 10, but the main caster mounting part 272 is kept downward by the biasing force of the biasing part 274. Next, as shown in FIG. 16C, when the auxiliary cargo compartment 30 is further stored in the main cargo compartment 10, the tip of the floor surface 66 of the auxiliary cargo compartment 30 pushes the main caster 271, causing the main caster attachment part 272 to rotate toward the installation support part 241, and the main caster 271 is placed on the floor surface 66 of the auxiliary cargo compartment 30. At this time, depending on the shape of the caster attachment part 272, the caster attachment part 272 may be placed on the floor surface 66 of the auxiliary cargo compartment 30. When the auxiliary cargo compartment 30 is stored, it is the auxiliary caster 276 that supports the leg 245 of the rolling support part 242. When the auxiliary cargo compartment 30 is pulled out of the main cargo compartment 10, the above-mentioned movement is reversed. At this time, the main caster attachment part 272 is urged to rotate downward by the urging part 274, so it quickly reaches the state shown in FIG. 16A.

In another embodiment, as shown in FIG. 16(D), the main caster 371 can be a swivel caster 371. Even in this case, the point where the main caster 371 abuts against the floor surface 65 of the main cargo compartment 10 is offset of 2 toward the auxiliary cargo compartment 30 from the fulcrum (axis 273) when the main caster attachment part 372 (caster conversion part 370) is rotated. In this embodiment, when the auxiliary cargo compartment 30 is stored, both the caster attachment part 372 and the main caster 371 are placed on the floor surface 66.

In another embodiment, as shown in FIG. 16(E), the secondary caster 476 supported by the secondary caster mounting portion 477 can also be a swivel caster 476. With this configuration, even when the secondary luggage compartment 30 is stored in the main luggage compartment 10, the first interior structure 240 can be moved, for example, left and right, within the luggage compartment 2. In this embodiment, when the secondary luggage compartment 30 is stored, both the caster mounting portion 372 and the main caster 371 are placed on the floor surface 66.

[Fourth embodiment]
Next, an embodiment of the vehicle trunk 101 will be described with reference to Figures 17 and 18. The vehicle trunk 101 of this embodiment has a configuration substantially the same as that of the vehicle trunk 1 according to the first embodiment, and therefore the description of the entire trunk 101 will be omitted by using the same reference numerals. In the vehicle trunk 101 of this embodiment, a floor hole 35 is provided in the floor 66 of the auxiliary trunk 30. The floor hole 35 is provided at a position where the rolling support part 42 of the first interior structure 40 is located when the auxiliary trunk 30 is stored in the main trunk 10. The caster 48 fits into the floor hole 35 and abuts against the floor 65 of the main trunk 10. Therefore, while the auxiliary trunk 30 is being pulled out or pushed in, the caster 48 rests on the floor of the auxiliary trunk 30 and the first interior structure 40 is tilted, but after the auxiliary trunk 30 is completely pulled out or stored, the first interior structure 40 does not tilt. Furthermore, when the auxiliary luggage compartment 30 is completely stored, the casters 48 fit into the floor holes 35, providing some resistance to pulling out the auxiliary luggage compartment 30. Therefore, the auxiliary luggage compartment 30 can be temporarily fixed with the casters 48 before being fixed with a fixing device (not shown). Furthermore, the floor holes 35 are provided with inclined portions 36 so that the casters 48 can be easily inserted and removed.

As explained above, according to the vehicle luggage compartment of the present embodiment, the auxiliary luggage compartment can be pulled out from the main luggage compartment, so the luggage compartment can be expanded. In addition, by combining the first and second interior structures and providing rails for moving them, a variety of interior structures can be created. Furthermore, by omitting the second interior structure or by combining the first and second interior structures, the interior of the luggage compartment can be used normally even when the auxiliary luggage compartment is stored in the main luggage compartment. For example, in a camper, it is possible to spend time comfortably even when the auxiliary luggage compartment cannot be pulled out from the main luggage compartment due to conditions such as the parking location, arrival time at the site, and weather.

In addition, when the auxiliary cargo compartment is pulled out from the main cargo compartment, the upward-opening door, rain cover, and curtain can keep rain out, preventing the top surface of the auxiliary cargo compartment, which is prone to accumulating rain and dew, from getting wet. This prevents water from getting into the cargo compartment when the auxiliary cargo compartment is stowed away in the main cargo compartment after rain or night dew.

In addition, when the auxiliary cargo compartment is stored in the main cargo compartment, it does not interfere with the first vehicle interior structure, and even when the auxiliary cargo compartment is pulled out, the first vehicle interior structure remains next to the main cargo compartment, preventing significant shifts in the center of gravity of the vehicle cargo compartment. As a result, the size of the auxiliary cargo compartment can be designed to be relatively large compared to the main cargo compartment, and the vehicle cargo compartment can be made small when the auxiliary cargo compartment is stored, and large when the auxiliary cargo compartment is pulled out. For this reason, even if a small vehicle such as a light truck is used as the vehicle to load the vehicle cargo compartment, it can be operated without any problems.

In addition, since the pedestals of the rolling support parts are supported by casters, main casters, or auxiliary casters, processing of the floor surface of the auxiliary cargo compartment for the first interior structure is not necessary except in the fourth embodiment. In addition, in the first interior structure of the third embodiment, the height of the top plate of the first interior structure hardly changes when the auxiliary cargo compartment is stored or pulled out. Therefore, even if the first interior structure is carrying a heavy object or the first interior structure is carrying a heavy object, the auxiliary cargo compartment can be smoothly loaded and unloaded. In addition, there is no need to provide an inclined portion on the floor surface of the auxiliary cargo compartment, and the floor surface of the auxiliary cargo compartment or the main cargo compartment can be effectively utilized.

In addition, depending on the combination of the first and second interior structures, commercial use is also possible, and it can be used not only for the camper vans and kitchen vans already mentioned, but also for a variety of other businesses such as barber shops, pet salons, and various types of mobile sales vehicles.

The above-described vehicle luggage compartment is an example of the present invention, and its configuration can be modified as appropriate without departing from the spirit of the invention. For example, it is possible to arrange multiple first interior structures and multiple second interior structures, and it is also possible to have a configuration in which only the first interior structure is provided without the second interior structure.
