Abstract

[Problem] To provide a clothes hanger and its detachable member capable of preventing the scattering of springs attached to clips while improving the recovery efficiency and workability at the stage of recycling the clothes hanger. Description

The present invention relates to a clothes hanger and its attachment/detachment parts.

Some clothing hangers come equipped with a clip for clamping and hanging slacks, skirts, etc. The clip attached to the hanger is made of synthetic resin, for example, and has a pair of clip pieces and a spring that biases the clip in the direction of closing.

When the clip spring is made of synthetic resin, the spring is easily damaged by impact or scratches, and in some cases, fragments of the spring may fly towards people, creating a risk. For this reason, for example, Patent Document 1 discloses technology to prevent the spring from flying off in the event of breakage.

Since clothing hangers are used in large quantities in the distribution process from manufacturing to sales of clothing, a large amount is discarded and recycled. Therefore, in the recycling process of clothing hangers, there is a need to consider improving the efficiency of material recovery and the ease of sorting the materials.

In the above-mentioned clothes hanger with clip, an anti-slip plate is attached to the inside of the tip of the clip. This increases the friction when the clip grips the clothes, so the clothes hanging on the clothes hanger are less likely to slip off.

If the anti-slip plate is made of urethane resin, it is less likely to leave marks on the clothes that are held in the clip. However, because the main body and clips of clothing hangers are made of polypropylene (PP), if urethane resin is placed on the tip of the clip, different materials would need to be separated during the recycling process. Also, because the anti-slip plate is glued to the clip, it would be necessary to remove the plate, which is time-consuming.

The present invention was made in consideration of these circumstances, and aims to provide a clothes hanger and its attachment/detachment parts that can prevent the spring attached to the clip from scattering, while improving the recovery efficiency and workability at the recycling stage of clothes hangers.

In order to solve the above problems, the clothes hanger and its attachment/detachment member of the present invention employ the following measures.
In other words, the clothes hanger of the present invention has a clamping portion provided at one end and an operating portion provided on the opposite side to the clamping portion, a pair of clip pieces with an opening formed between the clamping portion and the operating portion, a spring that is installed to clamp the pair of clip pieces and urges the clip pieces in a direction closing by elastic force, and a detachable member that is detachable from the clip pieces, one end of the spring being exposed from the opening of the clip piece and urges the clip piece to clamp from the outside, and the detachable member has an anti-slip portion installed on the inside of the clamping portion of the clip piece, a covering portion installed on the clip piece so as to cover the opening of the clip piece, and a fixing portion installed on the clip piece and fixing the anti-slip portion and the covering portion to the clip piece.

In the above invention, the anti-slip portion may be cup-shaped or annular in shape, covering the entire circumference of the tip of the clip piece.

In the above invention, the fixing part may be annular or cup-shaped and fixed to the operating part.

The detachable member of a clothes hanger according to the present invention has a clamping portion provided at one end and an operating portion provided on the opposite side of the clamping portion, and is equipped with a pair of clip pieces with an opening formed between the clamping portion and the operating portion, and a spring that is installed to clamp the pair of clip pieces and urges the clip pieces in a direction to close them by elastic force, and one end of the spring is exposed from the opening of the clip piece and urges the clip pieces to clamp from the outside of the clip piece. The detachable member of a clothes hanger used in a clothes hanger includes an anti-slip portion installed inside the clamping portion of the clip piece, a covering portion installed on the clip piece to cover the opening of the clip piece, and a fixing portion installed on the clip piece to fix the anti-slip portion and the covering portion to the clip piece, and is detachable from the clip piece.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS A clothes hanger 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.
As shown in Figures 1 to 3, the clothing hanger 1 of this embodiment is a hanger with a clip, which includes an arm 2, a hook 3, a clip 4, and a detachable member 5, and is used to clamp and hang slacks, skirts, etc.

Two clips 4 are provided on the arm 2, one on each side. The clips 4 are installed so that they can slide in the length direction of the arm 2, so that the position of the clips 4 on the arm 2 can be changed and the length between the two clips 4 can be adjusted. Note that the clip 4 may be one in which one clip piece 11 is molded integrally with the arm 2 and fixed to the arm 2.

As shown in Figures 4 to 6, 10 and 11, the clip 4 comprises a pair of clip pieces 11 and a spring 12, and the clip pieces 11 are biased in a closing direction by the spring 12. The two clip pieces 11 are combined facing each other with the arm 2 in between, and the spring 12 is fixed to the clip pieces 11 to assemble the clip 4, which can be opened and closed to clamp clothing. Note that Figures 10 and 11 show the clip 4 with the detachable member 5 removed.

As shown in Figures 4 to 6 and Figures 10 to 12, each clip piece 11 includes a main body portion 7, a clamping portion 8, a fulcrum portion 9, a locking portion 14, an opening portion 15, and an operating portion 16.

The main body 7 has a shape that is long in one direction, with a clamping portion 8 provided at one end and an operating portion 16 provided at the other end. As shown in Figures 11 and 12, a locking portion 14 is provided on the front surface of the main body 7, and as shown in Figures 4, 5, 10, and 12, a fulcrum portion 9 is provided on the back surface. The front surface of the main body 7 is the surface that becomes the outside of the clip 4 when the clip pieces 11 are assembled, and the back surface of the main body 7 is the surface that becomes the inside of the clip 4.

The clamping portion 8 is provided at one end of the main body portion 7 of the clip piece 11, and can clamp the clothing to be hung when the clip 4 is closed.

The fulcrum portion 9 protrudes from the main body portion 7 at a position intermediate the length of the main body portion 7, specifically, closer to the operating portion 16 than the center of the length of the main body portion 7. As shown in Figures 2 and 3, when the clip 4 is assembled, the fulcrum portion 9 contacts the arm 2. The clip piece 11 rotates around the contact point between the fulcrum portion 9 and the arm 2.

As shown in FIG. 12, the locking portion 14 is provided in the middle of the length of the main body 7 closer to the clamping portion 8 than the fulcrum portion 9, specifically, at approximately the center of the length of the main body 7, and is formed in a concave shape. The spring 12 is locked in the locking portion 14. This keeps the spring 12 fixed without shifting when the clip 4 is opened and closed.

As shown in Figs. 10 to 12, the opening 15 is provided at the middle of the length of the main body 7, closer to the operating part 16 than the fulcrum part 9. The opening 15 is formed penetrating between the front and back surfaces of the clip piece 11. The spring 12 is inserted through the opening 15.

The operating portion 16 is provided on the other end of the main body 7 of the clip piece 11 opposite the clamping portion 8. The operating portion 16 is the portion that the user presses when using the clip 4. When a force is applied by the user to the operating portion 16, the clamping portions 8 of the two clip pieces 11 separate from each other, and the clip 4 is placed in an open state.

The spring 12 is substantially U-shaped and is installed so as to sandwich the pair of clip pieces 11. One end of the spring 12 is exposed from the opening 15 of the clip piece 11, and biases the clip piece 11 from the outside so as to pinch the clip piece 11. The spring 12 biases the clip piece 11 in the direction of closing by elastic force. The tip of the spring 12 is engaged with the engagement portion 14 of the clip piece 11, and is combined with the clip piece 11. The middle portion (near the center) of the spring 12 is located between the two opposing clip pieces 11. As shown in Figures 10 and 11, the spring 12 is inserted through the opening 15 between the tip and the middle portion, and is located on the surface side of the clip piece 11 from the opening 15 to the engagement portion 14.

Next, the configuration of the detachable member 5 will be described.
The detachable member 5 is preferably made of elastomer, silicone, or the like, and has an extensible property. The detachable member 5 is detachable from the clip 4. The detachable member 5 prevents the clothes clamped by the clip 4 from slipping off, and prevents fragments of the spring 12 from scattering in the event of breakage of the spring 12. Note that, in the present embodiment, the detachable member 5 is a member that constitutes a part of the clothes hanger 1, but the present invention is not limited to this example. That is, the detachable member 5 may be manufactured and sold separately from the clothes hanger as a part of the clothes hanger.

As shown in Figs. 4 to 6, the detachable member 5 includes an anti-slip portion 21, a covering portion 22, and a fixing portion 23. Fig. 9 shows the detachable member 5 removed from the clip 4.

The anti-slip portion 21 is installed at least on the inside of the clamping portion 8 of the clip piece 11, and has, for example, a cup shape that covers the entire circumference of the tip of the clip piece 11. By installing the anti-slip portion 21 on the inside of the clamping portion 8, the frictional force generated when the clip 4 clamps the clothing increases. As a result, the clothing hung on the clothing hanger 1 is less likely to slip off the clip 4.

When the anti-slip portion 21 is cup-shaped and has a bottom, even if the anti-slip portion 21 is pulled toward the operating unit 16, the tip of the clip piece 11 prevents the anti-slip portion 21 from moving, making it less likely to shift position.

In the above description, the anti-slip portion 21 has a cup shape, but the present invention is not limited to this example. The anti-slip portion 21 is required to be placed at least on the inside of the clamping portion 8 of the clip piece 11 to prevent the clothing from slipping off the clip 4, and may be a bottomless annular shape, unlike a cup shape, as shown in Figures 7 and 8. In this case, if the anti-slip portion 21 has a tapered shape, the movement of the anti-slip portion 21 is prevented by the tip of the clip piece 11, making it difficult for the anti-slip portion 21 to shift out of position. Figure 3 also shows a case where the anti-slip portion 21 is annular.

The covering portion 22 is installed on the front surface side of the clip piece 11 so as to cover the opening 15 of the clip piece 11. When the detachable member 5 is attached to the clip 4, the covering portion 22 covers the opening 15 and the spring 12 inserted through the opening 15. This causes the spring 12 to be covered by the covering portion 22, and no part of the spring 12 in the clip 4 is exposed to the outside. As a result, in the unlikely event that the spring 12 is broken, the covering portion 22 prevents fragments of the spring 12 from scattering. The covering portion 22 has, for example, a band-like shape so as to fit along the front surface side of the clip piece 11.

The fixing part 23 is a member that is installed on the clip piece 11. The installation position of the fixing part 23 is, for example, near the operating part 16 of the clip piece 11. The fixing part 23 has, for example, an annular shape with a through hole. In this case, the operating part 16 of the clip piece 11 is inserted into the through hole of the fixing part 23, and the fixing part 23 is fixed to the operating part 16.

The fixing portion 23 fixes the anti-slip portion 21 and the covering portion 22 to the clip piece 11. The covering portion 22 is formed integrally with the anti-slip portion 21 and the fixing portion 23. The fixing portion 23 is attached to the clip 4, thereby fixing the anti-slip portion 21 and the covering portion 22 to the clip 4.

When the detachable member 5 is attached to the clip 4, the fixing portion 23 is located on the upper surface side of the spring 12 of the clip 4, as shown in Figs. 2 to 5 and 7. This prevents the detachable member 5 from falling off the clip 4 even if the fixing portion 23 is pulled toward the clamping portion 8. The upper surface of the spring 12 is also partially covered by the fixing portion 23. As a result, the fixing portion 23 can provide an obstruction above the spring 12, so that fragments of the spring 12 are less likely to scatter in the event of breakage, compared to a state in which the fixing portion 23 is not installed on the upper surface side of the spring 12.

In the above description, the fixing portion 23 has an annular shape, but the present invention is not limited to this example. The fixing portion 23 may have a cup shape so as to cover the entire circumference of the tip of the operating portion 16.

Next, a method for attaching and detaching the detachable member 5 will be described.
The detachable member 5 is attached to and detached from the clip 4 while the clip 4 is attached to the arm 2 .
With the detachable member 5 removed from the clip 4, first, the fixing portion 23 is inserted into the operating portion 16 of the clip piece 11. As a result, the fixing portion 23 is positioned on the upper surface side of the spring 12 of the clip 4. At this time, the covering portion 22 is positioned on the front surface side of the clip 4.

Then, the covering portion 22 is placed along the clip piece 11 so that the covering portion 22 covers the opening 15 and the spring 12 .
Next, a pulling force is applied to the detachable member 5 to extend the detachable member 5, and the non-slip portion 21 is placed so as to cover the entire circumference of the tip of the clip piece 11. By releasing the pulling force, the detachable member 5 is attached to the clip 4.

The installation order of the fixed part 23 and the anti-slip part 21 may be reversed. That is, the anti-slip part 21 may be installed first at the tip of the clip piece 11, and then a pulling force may be applied to the detachable member 5 to insert the fixed part 23 into the operating part 16.

When removing the detachable member 5 from the clip 4, for example, a pulling force is applied to the detachable member 5 to remove the non-slip portion 21 from the tip of the clip piece 11, and then the fixing portion 23 is removed from the operating portion 16. Alternatively, a pulling force can be applied to the detachable member 5 to remove the fixing portion 23 from the operating portion 16, and then the non-slip portion 21 can be removed from the tip of the clip piece 11.

As described above, according to this embodiment, by attaching the detachable member 5 to the clip 4, the spring 12 is covered by the covering portion 22, and there is no part of the spring 12 exposed to the outside of the clip 4. As a result, in the event that the spring 12 is broken, the covering portion 22 prevents fragments of the spring 12 from scattering. In addition, when the upper surface of the spring 12 is partially covered by the fixing portion 23, the fixing portion 23 provides an obstruction above the spring 12, so that in the event that the spring 12 is broken, fragments of the spring 12 are less likely to scatter.

Furthermore, the detachable member 5 has an anti-slip portion 21, which increases the frictional force generated when the clip 4 clamps a garment, making it difficult for the garment hung on the garment hanger 1 to slip off the clip 4. The detachable member 5 is detachable from the clip 4, and is configured so that no adhesive is required when attaching the detachable member 5 to the clip 4. Therefore, compared to the conventional configuration in which an anti-slip plate made of urethane resin is installed in the clamping portion of the clip, it becomes easier to separate different materials during the recycling process, and the effort required for sorting can be reduced.

Conventionally, when urethane resin is placed in the clamping portion of the clip, the urethane resin may react with a surfactant contained in the clothing and turn yellow, and there is a risk that the discolored portion of the synthetic resin plate may adhere to the clothing. In contrast, by using an elastomer as the material for the removable member 5 in this embodiment, rather than a urethane resin, it is possible to prevent discoloration of the non-slip portion 21 from transferring to the clothing.
