The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition.

Hair cosmetics that contain a liquid oily component as a main component are known as hair cosmetics that aim to replenish oil to hair and give it shine, smoothness, etc. An example of such a hair cosmetic that has fluidity and a good feel when used is the hair oil described in Patent Document 1 below.

A typical hair styling property of hair cosmetics that contain a liquid oily component as the main component, such as the hair oil described in Patent Document 1, is the effect of tying hair together. However, the hair tying effect of conventional hair cosmetics is limited to the extent of preventing hair from spreading out. Therefore, when conventional hair cosmetics are applied to wavy or curly hair, it is difficult to say that they exert a hair tying effect that is sufficient to suppress the wavy or curly hair.

In addition, with conventional hair cosmetics, the effect of holding hair together may not last long enough, and the held-up hair may gradually come undone as time passes after treatment.

The object of the present invention is to provide a cosmetic composition that has fluidity and can enhance and sustain the effect of tying hair together.

The present inventors attempted to create a cosmetic composition that contains water and has fluidity while improving the effect of tying hair together and the duration of that effect. The present inventors discovered the composition of the cosmetic composition that can solve the above problems.

The present invention provides a cosmetic composition comprising the following components (A), (B), (C), (D), and (E), in which the content of component (A) is 0.1% by mass or more and 5.0% by mass or less, the content of component (B) is 0.05% by mass or more and 5.0% by mass or less, the content of component (C) is 5.0% by mass or more and 50.0% by mass or less, the content of component (D) is 3.0% by mass or more and 20.0% by mass or less, and the content of component (E) is 1.0% by mass or more and 20.0% by mass or less.

Component (A): A compound selected from the group consisting of polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether phosphates, polyoxyalkylene alkenyl ether phosphates, and salts thereof. Component (B): A polyglycerol fatty acid ester having one or more alkyl groups having 8 to 12 carbon atoms. Component (C): A vegetable oil and/or a fatty acid triglyceride. Component (D): A polyhydric alcohol selected from the group consisting of glycerin, diglycerin, polyethylene glycol, and sugar alcohols. Component (E): Water.

The cosmetic composition of the present invention preferably contains the following component (F):

Component (F): A component selected from the group consisting of glycerin mono 2-ethylhexyl ether, polyoxyethylene octyldodecyl ether, 1,2-octanediol, alkyl glucoside, propylene glycol isostearate, and octyldodecanol.

The cosmetic composition of the present invention preferably contains the following component (G):

Component (G): A silicone compound with a viscosity of 10 million mPa·s or more and 30 million mPa·s or less at 25°C.

The cosmetic composition of the present invention preferably contains the following component (H):

Component (H): Volatile oil

In the cosmetic composition of the present invention, it is preferable that the component (H) contains the following component (H1).

Ingredient (H1): Caprylyl methicone

In the cosmetic composition of the present invention, it is preferable that the component (C) contains the vegetable oil.

In the cosmetic composition of the present invention, it is preferable that the component (C) is the vegetable oil and the fatty acid triglyceride.

In the cosmetic composition of the present invention, the content of the vegetable oil is preferably 0.3% by mass or more and 20.0% by mass or less.

In the cosmetic composition of the present invention, it is preferable that the component (C) contains the fatty acid triglyceride, and the content of the fatty acid triglyceride is 5.0% by mass or more and 50.0% by mass or less.

The cosmetic composition of the present invention is preferably a hair cosmetic composition.

The cosmetic composition of the present invention contains specific components (A), (B), (C), (D), and (E) in specific amounts, and therefore has fluidity and can enhance the effect of tying hair together and its durability.

The present invention is described in detail below.

The cosmetic composition of the present invention contains a compound selected from the group consisting of polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether phosphates, polyoxyalkylene alkenyl ether phosphates, and salts thereof, a polyglycerol fatty acid ester having one or more alkyl groups having 8 to 12 carbon atoms, a vegetable oil and/or a fatty acid triglyceride, a polyhydric alcohol selected from the group consisting of glycerin, diglycerin, polyethylene glycol, and sugar alcohols, and water.

In this specification, the above "compound selected from the group consisting of polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether phosphates, polyoxyalkylene alkenyl ether phosphates, and salts thereof" may be referred to as "component (A)."

In this specification, the above-mentioned "polyglycerol fatty acid ester having one or more alkyl groups having 8 to 12 carbon atoms" may be referred to as "component (B)."

In this specification, the above-mentioned "vegetable oil and/or fatty acid triglyceride" may be referred to as "component (C)."

In this specification, the above "polyhydric alcohol selected from the group consisting of glycerin, diglycerin, polyethylene glycol, and sugar alcohol" may be referred to as "component (D)."

In this specification, the above "water" may be referred to as "component (E)."

The cosmetic composition of the present invention therefore contains component (A), component (B), component (C), component (D), and component (E).

In the cosmetic composition of the present invention, the content of component (A) is 0.1% by mass or more and 5.0% by mass or less, the content of component (B) is 0.05% by mass or more and 5.0% by mass or less, the content of component (C) is 5.0% by mass or more and 50.0% by mass or less, the content of component (D) is 3.0% by mass or more and 20.0% by mass or less, and the content of component (E) is 1.0% by mass or more and 20.0% by mass or less.

The cosmetic composition of the present invention has the above-mentioned composition, so it has fluidity and can enhance and sustain the effect of tying hair together.

In the cosmetic composition of the present invention, components (A), (D) and (E) are used in combination at specific contents, so that a liquid crystal gel structure can be formed. In the cosmetic composition of the present invention, even if a relatively large amount of component (C) is contained, a liquid crystal gel structure can be formed. Furthermore, in the cosmetic composition of the present invention, component (B) is used at a specific content, so that the viscosity of the cosmetic composition can be kept low to a certain extent. Therefore, the cosmetic composition of the present invention can have a fluid, oil-like appearance.

In the cosmetic composition of the present invention, the hair tying effect exerted by component (C) and the hair tying effect exerted by components (D) and (E) can synergize to enhance the hair tying effect and maintain the hair tying state for a long time. The hair tying effect exerted by the cosmetic composition of the present invention and its duration are significantly superior to the hair tying effect and its duration exerted by conventional cosmetic compositions. Therefore, the cosmetic composition of the present invention can fully exert the hair tying effect and its duration even on wavy or curly hair. In addition, the cosmetic composition of the present invention can also prevent hair straightened with a hair iron from going back to its original state.

The cosmetic composition of the present invention can also enhance the smooth feel of hair.

The cosmetic composition of the present invention may contain a component selected from the group consisting of glycerin mono 2-ethylhexyl ether, polyoxyethylene octyldodecyl ether, 1,2-octanediol, alkyl glucoside, propylene glycol isostearate, and octyldodecanol.

In this specification, the above "component selected from the group consisting of glycerin mono 2-ethylhexyl ether, polyoxyethylene octyldodecyl ether, 1,2-octanediol, alkyl glucoside, propylene glycol isostearate, and octyldodecanol" may be referred to as "component (F)."

The cosmetic composition of the present invention may contain a silicone compound having a viscosity of 10 million mPa·s or more and 30 million mPa·s or less at 25°C.

In this specification, the above-mentioned "silicone compound having a viscosity of 10 million mPa·s or more and 30 million mPa·s or less at 25°C" may be referred to as "component (G)."

The cosmetic composition of the present invention may contain a volatile oil.

In this specification, the above "volatile oil" may be referred to as "ingredient (H)."

The cosmetic composition of the present invention may contain other components in addition to components (A) to (H).

The above components, for example, component (A), component (B), component (C), component (D), component (F), component (G), component (H) and other components, may each be used alone or in combination of two or more.

In this specification, the content of each component means the total content of all the components contained in the cosmetic composition. For example, the content of component (A) means the total content of all the components (A) in the cosmetic composition.

The following describes in detail each of the components used in the cosmetic composition of the present invention.

(Component (A))
Component (A) is a compound (at least one compound) selected from the group consisting of polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether phosphoric acid, polyoxyalkylene alkenyl ether phosphoric acid, and salts thereof. That is, component (A) is a compound (at least one compound) selected from the group consisting of polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether phosphoric acid, polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether phosphate, polyoxyalkylene alkenyl ether phosphoric acid, and polyoxyalkylene alkenyl ether phosphate. By using component (A), a liquid crystal gel structure can be favorably formed, and a cosmetic composition having fluidity can be obtained. Only one type of component (A) may be used, or two or more types may be used in combination.

In this specification, "polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether phosphoric acid and/or a salt thereof" may be referred to as "component (A1)," and "polyoxyalkylene alkenyl ether phosphoric acid and/or a salt thereof" may be referred to as "component (A2)."

Therefore, component (A) is component (A1) and/or component (A2).

From the viewpoint of more effectively forming an oil gel having a liquid crystal gel structure, component (A) is preferably component (A1) and component (A2). The cosmetic composition of the present invention preferably contains component (A1) and component (A2).

Component (A1) is a phosphate ester and/or a salt thereof of an ether (polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether) composed of a polyoxyalkylene residue and a monovalent saturated aliphatic alcohol residue. Component (A2) is a phosphate ester and/or a salt thereof of an ether (polyoxyalkylene alkenyl ether) composed of a polyoxyalkylene residue and a monovalent unsaturated aliphatic alcohol residue.

The oxyalkylene groups constituting the polyoxyalkylene residue in the polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether and the polyoxyalkylene alkenyl ether include oxyalkylene groups having 2 or more and 4 or less carbon atoms, such as oxyethylene groups, oxypropylene groups, and oxybutylene groups. The polyoxyalkylene groups may contain only one type of oxyalkylene group, or may contain two or more types of oxyalkylene groups.

The polyoxyalkylene is preferably polyoxyethylene. Component (A1) is preferably polyoxyethylene alkyl ether phosphate and/or a salt thereof. Component (A2) is preferably polyoxyethylene alkenyl ether phosphate and/or a salt thereof. In this case, an oil gel having a liquid crystal gel structure can be more effectively formed.

The average number of moles of oxyalkylene groups added in component (A1) is preferably 2 or more, preferably 25 or less, and more preferably 20 or less. In this case, an oil gel having a liquid crystal gel structure can be formed more satisfactorily.

The average number of moles of oxyalkylene groups added in component (A2) is preferably 2 or more, preferably 25 or less, and more preferably 20 or less. In this case, an oil gel having a liquid crystal gel structure can be formed more satisfactorily.

The monovalent saturated aliphatic alcohol residue constituting the polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether contains a monovalent saturated aliphatic hydrocarbon group. Examples of the monovalent saturated aliphatic hydrocarbon group include saturated aliphatic hydrocarbon groups having 10 or more and 36 or less carbon atoms (preferably 12 or more and 18 or less carbon atoms), such as lauryl, cetyl, and stearyl groups. The monovalent saturated aliphatic hydrocarbon group may be linear or branched.

The monovalent unsaturated aliphatic alcohol residue constituting the polyoxyalkylene alkenyl ether contains a monovalent unsaturated aliphatic hydrocarbon group. Examples of the monovalent unsaturated aliphatic hydrocarbon group include unsaturated aliphatic hydrocarbon groups having 10 or more and 36 or less carbon atoms (preferably 12 or more and 18 or less carbon atoms), such as an oleyl group. The monovalent unsaturated aliphatic hydrocarbon group may be linear or branched.

The polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether phosphate and the polyoxyalkylene alkenyl ether phosphate may be a monoester, a diester, a triester, or a mixture of two or more of them.

Examples of the salts of the polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether phosphate and the polyoxyalkylene alkenyl ether phosphate include inorganic salts, organic amine salts, and basic amino acid salts. Examples of the inorganic salts include alkali metal salts such as sodium salts and potassium salts; alkaline earth metal salts such as magnesium salts and calcium salts; ammonium salts; aluminum salts; and zinc salts. Examples of the organic amine salts include monoethanolamine salts, diethanolamine salts, and triethanolamine salts. Examples of the basic amino acid salts include arginine salts and lysine salts.

Component (A) includes polyoxyalkylene lauryl ether phosphates such as laureth-2 phosphate, laureth-4 phosphate, dilaureth-10 phosphate, and trilaureth-4 phosphate; polyoxyalkylene isolauryl ether phosphates such as isolaureth-4 phosphate; polyoxyalkylene cetyl ether phosphates such as ceteth-10 phosphate and ceteth-20 phosphate; polyoxyalkylene stearyl ether phosphates such as steareth-2 phosphate and steareth-3 phosphate; polyoxyalkylene cetearyl ether phosphates such as triceteareth-4 phosphate; oleth-3 phosphate, oleth-4 phosphate, oleth-5 phosphate, and oleth-7 phosphate. polyoxyalkylene oleyl ether phosphates such as oleth-8 phosphate, oleth-10 phosphate, oleth-20 phosphate, and dioleth-8 phosphate; polyoxyalkylene alkyl (C12-15) ether phosphates such as (C12-15) pareth-3 phosphate, (C12-15) pareth-6 phosphate, (C12-15) pareth-9 phosphate, di(C12-15) pareth-2 phosphate, di(C12-15) pareth-4 phosphate, di(C12-15) pareth-6 phosphate, di(C12-15) pareth-6 phosphate, di(C12-15) pareth-8 phosphate, and di(C12-15) pareth-10 phosphate; and salts thereof.

Component (A) is preferably polyoxyalkylene lauryl ether phosphate, polyoxyalkylene alkyl (C12-15) ether phosphate, polyoxyalkylene cetearyl ether phosphate, polyoxyalkylene oleyl ether phosphate, or a salt thereof. Component (A) is more preferably laureth-4 phosphate, trilaureth-4 phosphate, (C12-15) pareth-3 phosphate, triceteareth-4 phosphate, oleth-3 phosphate, oleth-5 phosphate, oleth-7 phosphate, dioleth-8 phosphate, oleth-10 phosphate, oleth-20 phosphate, or a salt thereof. In this case, an oil gel having a liquid crystal gel structure can be formed even better.

From the viewpoint of the formability of the liquid crystal oil gel, the content of component (A) is 0.1% by mass or more and 5.0% by mass or less in 100% by mass of the cosmetic composition of the present invention.

In 100% by mass of the cosmetic composition of the present invention, the content of component (A) is preferably 0.3% by mass or more, more preferably 0.5% by mass or more, and preferably 4.0% by mass or less, more preferably 3.0% by mass or less. When the content of component (A) is equal to or more than the above lower limit and equal to or less than the above upper limit, an oil gel having a liquid crystal gel structure can be formed more satisfactorily.

(Component (B))
Component (B) is a polyglycerol fatty acid ester having one or more alkyl groups having 8 to 12 carbon atoms. By using component (B), the viscosity of the cosmetic composition can be kept low. The reason why the viscosity of the cosmetic composition can be kept low by using component (B) is presumably because component (B) is a compound having an alkyl group (hydrophobic group) with a relatively small number of carbon atoms and a hydrophilic group (polyglycerol chain) with high polarity, and therefore when component (B) is incorporated into the liquid crystal phase formed by components (A), (D) and (E), it moderately loosens the liquid crystal gel structure, but is not limited thereto. Only one type of component (B) may be used, or two or more types may be used in combination.

Component (B) has one or more alkyl groups having 8 or more carbon atoms and 12 or less. Component (B) may have only one alkyl group having 8 or more carbon atoms and 12 or less, or may have two or more alkyl groups having 8 or more carbon atoms and 12 or less. Component (B) may have 10 or less alkyl groups having 8 or more carbon atoms and 12 or less, or may have 5 or less alkyl groups having 8 or more carbon atoms and 12 or less.

From the viewpoint of further reducing the viscosity of the cosmetic composition, it is preferable that component (B) has two or more alkyl groups having 8 to 12 carbon atoms, and it is more preferable that it has two alkyl groups.

From the viewpoint of further reducing the viscosity of the cosmetic composition, the number of carbon atoms in the alkyl group having 8 or more and 12 or less carbon atoms is preferably 10 or less, and more preferably 8 or 10.

From the viewpoint of further reducing the viscosity of the cosmetic composition, the average degree of polymerization of the polyglycerin in component (B) (average number of moles of glycerin added) is preferably 2 or more, preferably 10 or less, and more preferably 6 or less.

Examples of component (B) include diglyceryl monocaprylate (polyglyceryl-2 caprylate), hexaglyceryl dicaprate (polyglyceryl-6 dicaprate), triglyceryl monocaprylate, decaglyceryl monocaprylate, diglyceryl monocaprate, hexaglyceryl monocaprate, diglyceryl monolaurate, tetraglyceryl monolaurate, hexaglyceryl monolaurate, decaglyceryl monolaurate, poly(4-10)glyceryl monolaurate, and poly(2-10)glyceryl dicaprylate.

From the viewpoint of further reducing the viscosity of the cosmetic composition, it is preferable that component (B) is a polyglycerol fatty acid ester (at least one polyglycerol fatty acid ester) selected from the group consisting of polyglyceryl-2 caprylate, polyglyceryl-3 caprylate, polyglyceryl-6 caprylate, and polyglyceryl-6 dicaprate.

In order to keep the viscosity of the cosmetic composition low, the content of component (B) is 0.05% by mass or more and 5.0% by mass or less in 100% by mass of the cosmetic composition of the present invention.

In 100% by mass of the cosmetic composition of the present invention, the content of component (B) is preferably 0.07% by mass or more, more preferably 0.1% by mass or more, and preferably 4.0% by mass or less, more preferably 3.0% by mass or less. When the content of component (B) is equal to or more than the above lower limit and equal to or less than the above upper limit, the viscosity of the cosmetic composition can be further reduced.

(Component (C))
Component (C) is a vegetable oil and/or a fatty acid triglyceride. By using component (C), the effect of tying hair and its duration can be improved. Component (C) may be used alone or in combination of two or more kinds.

In this specification, the above-mentioned "vegetable oil" may be referred to as "component (C1)," and the above-mentioned "fatty acid triglyceride" may be referred to as "component (C2)."

Therefore, component (C) is component (C1) and/or component (C2).

Examples of component (C1) include macadamia nut oil, eucalyptus oil, coconut oil, avocado oil, safflower oil, olive oil, palm oil, palm kernel oil, kukui nut oil, shea butter, cocoa butter, almond oil, sunflower oil, rosehip oil, camellia oil, kiwi fruit seed oil, camellia oil, apricot kernel oil, sesame oil, soybean oil, jojoba oil, castor oil, hazelnut oil, medlar oil, peppermint oil, argan oil, carrot oil, lavender oil, damask rose flower wax, centifolia rose flower wax, jasmine flower wax, camellia oil, and hydrogenated products thereof (e.g., hydrogenated castor oil, hydrogenated jojoba oil, hydrogenated palm oil, hydrogenated avocado oil, hydrogenated soybean oil, etc.).

Note that ingredient (C1) does not include squalane (olive squalane, sugar squalane, etc.).

Component (C2) includes glyceryl tri-2-ethylhexanoate (trioctanoin, triethylhexanoin), glyceryl tricaprylate, glyceryl tricaprate, glyceryl triundecylate, glyceryl tristearate, glyceryl triisostearate, glyceryl tripalmitate, glyceryl triundecanoate, glyceryl tri-2-heptylundecanoate, glyceryl tribehenate, glyceryl trimyristate, glyceryl trilaurate, glyceryl trioleate, glyceryl trilinoleate, Glyceryl Tripalmitoleate, Glyceryl Triacetyl Hydroxystearate, Glyceryl Triacetyl Ricinoleate, Glyceryl Trihydroxystearate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Caprylic/Capric/Myristic/Stearic Triglyceride, Caprylic/Capric/Isostearic/Adipic Triglyceride, Caprylic/Capric/Lauric Triglyceride, Caprylic/Capric/Linoleic Triglyceride, Caprylic/Capric/Linoleic Triglyceride Glyceryl Tri(tallowate/capricate/stearate), Glyceryl Tri(tallowate/mink oil/cod liver oil), Glyceryl Tri(mink oil/palmitate), Glyceryl Tri(coconut oil), Glyceryl Tri(lanolinate), Glyceryl Tri(ricinoleate/caproate/caprylate/capric acid), Glyceryl Tri(C10-18) Tri, Glyceryl Tri(C12-18) Tri, Glyceryl Tri(Hydrogenated C12-18) Tri, Glyceryl Tri(C12-20) , tri-fatty acid (C18-36) glyceryl, tri-branched fatty acid (C10-40) glyceryl, tri-branched fatty acid (C12-31) glyceryl, (hydrogenated rosin/diisostearate) glyceryl, tri-(palm oil fatty acid/palm kernel oil fatty acid/olive oil fatty acid/macadamia nut oil fatty acid/rapeseed oil fatty acid) glyceryl, tri-(castor fatty acid/olive fatty acid) glyceryl, tri-(behenic acid/isostearic acid/eicosanedioic acid) glyceryl, and tri-(mink fatty acid/palmitic acid) glyceryl.

From the viewpoint of enhancing the effect of tying hair together and its duration, component (C) preferably contains component (C1), and more preferably contains components (C1) and (C2). The cosmetic composition of the present invention preferably contains component (C1), and more preferably contains components (C1) and (C2).

In order to enhance the effect of tying hair together and to maintain its effect, the content of component (C) is 5.0% by mass or more and 50.0% by mass or less in 100% by mass of the cosmetic composition of the present invention.

In 100% by mass of the cosmetic composition of the present invention, the content of component (C) is preferably 7.0% by mass or more, more preferably 10.0% by mass or more, even more preferably 12.0% by mass or more, preferably 40.0% by mass or less, more preferably 35.0% by mass or less, and even more preferably 30.0% by mass or less. When the content of component (C) is equal to or more than the above lower limit and equal to or less than the above upper limit, the effect of tying hair together without stickiness and its durability can be further enhanced.

In 100% by mass of the cosmetic composition of the present invention, the content of component (C1) is preferably 0.3% by mass or more, more preferably 0.5% by mass or more, even more preferably 0.8% by mass or more, preferably 20.0% by mass or less, more preferably 15.0% by mass or less, even more preferably 5.0% by mass or less, and particularly preferably 3.0% by mass or less. When the content of component (C1) is equal to or more than the above lower limit and equal to or less than the above upper limit, the effect of tying hair together without stickiness and its durability can be further enhanced.

In 100% by mass of the cosmetic composition of the present invention, the content of component (C2) is preferably 5.0% by mass or more, more preferably 10.0% by mass or more, preferably 50.0% by mass or less, more preferably 40.0% by mass or less, and even more preferably 30.0% by mass or less. When the content of component (C2) is equal to or more than the above lower limit and equal to or less than the above upper limit, the effect of tying hair together without stickiness and its durability can be further improved.

When the cosmetic composition of the present invention contains component (G), the content of component (C) in 100% by mass of the cosmetic composition of the present invention is preferably 40.0% by mass or less, more preferably 35.0% by mass or less, and even more preferably 30.0% by mass or less. In this case, the compatibility between component (C) and component (G) can be further improved.

When the cosmetic composition of the present invention contains component (G), the content of component (C1) in 100% by mass of the cosmetic composition of the present invention is preferably 5.0% by mass or less, and more preferably 3.0% by mass or less. In this case, the compatibility between component (C1) and component (G) can be further improved.

(Component (D))
Component (D) is a polyhydric alcohol (at least one polyhydric alcohol) selected from the group consisting of glycerin, diglycerin, polyethylene glycol, and sugar alcohol. By using component (D), an oil gel having a liquid crystal gel structure can be well formed. In addition, by using component (D), it is possible to exert the effect of tying up hair while giving a moist feeling to hair. Only one type of component (D) may be used, or two or more types may be used in combination.

From the viewpoint of reducing irritation to the skin, the number average molecular weight of the polyethylene glycol is preferably 50 or more, more preferably 100 or more, and preferably 10,000 or less, more preferably 1,000 or less.

Examples of the sugar alcohols include sorbitol, maltitol, trehalose, erythritol, arabitol, ribitol, xylitol, galactitol, and mannitol.

In order to enhance the effect of tying hair together and to maintain its effect, the content of component (D) is 3.0% by mass or more and 20.0% by mass or less in 100% by mass of the cosmetic composition of the present invention.

In 100% by mass of the cosmetic composition of the present invention, the content of component (D) is preferably 4.0% by mass or more, more preferably 5.0% by mass or more, preferably 15.0% by mass or less, more preferably 10.0% by mass or less. When the content of component (D) is equal to or more than the above lower limit and equal to or less than the above upper limit, the formability of an oil gel having a liquid crystal gel structure can be further improved. Furthermore, when the content of component (D) is equal to or more than the above lower limit and equal to or less than the above upper limit, a more moisturizing feeling can be imparted to hair, and the effect of tying hair together and its duration can be further improved.

(Component (E))
Component (E) is water. Component (E) is preferably purified water. By using component (E), an oil gel having a liquid crystal gel structure can be satisfactorily formed.

From the viewpoint of favorably forming an oil gel having a liquid crystal gel structure, the content of component (E) is 1.0% by mass or more and 20.0% by mass or less in 100% by mass of the cosmetic composition of the present invention.

In 100% by mass of the cosmetic composition of the present invention, the content of component (E) is preferably 2.0% by mass or more, more preferably 5.0% by mass or more, preferably 15.0% by mass or less, more preferably 10.0% by mass or less. When the content of component (E) is equal to or more than the above lower limit and equal to or less than the above upper limit, an oil gel having a liquid crystal gel structure can be formed more satisfactorily.

(Component (F))
Component (F) is a component (at least one component) selected from the group consisting of glycerin mono 2-ethylhexyl ether, polyoxyethylene octyldodecyl ether, 1,2-octanediol, alkyl glucoside, propylene glycol isostearate, and octyldodecanol. By using component (F), the fluidity of the liquid crystal phase can be increased, and the viscosity of the cosmetic composition can be appropriately reduced. The reason why the viscosity of the cosmetic composition can be appropriately reduced by using component (F) is presumed to be because component (F), which has an appropriate polarity, is incorporated into the liquid crystal phase formed by components (A), (D), and (E), but is not limited thereto. Only one type of component (F) may be used, or two or more types may be used in combination.

The average number of moles of oxyethylene groups added in the polyoxyethylene octyldodecyl ether is preferably 3 or more, preferably 20 or less, and more preferably 10 or less.

The alkyl glucoside may be decyl glucoside or lauryl glucoside. The alkyl glucoside is preferably decyl glucoside.

In 100% by mass of the cosmetic composition of the present invention, the content of component (F) is preferably 0.05% by mass or more, more preferably 0.1% by mass or more, even more preferably 0.3% by mass or more, and preferably 5.0% by mass or less, more preferably 3.0% by mass or less. When the content of component (F) is equal to or more than the above lower limit and equal to or less than the above upper limit, the viscosity of the cosmetic composition can be further improved.

(Component (G))
Component (G) is a silicone compound having a viscosity of 10 million mPa·s or more and 30 million mPa·s or less at 25°C. By using component (G), a film can be formed on hair. Therefore, stickiness and unnatural gloss of hair can be suppressed, and a natural texture can be achieved, and a light feel can be imparted. Furthermore, the ease of running your fingers through hair can be improved, and squeaking can be suppressed, making the feel of hair good, and enhancing the smoothness of hair. Only one type of component (G) may be used, or two or more types may be used in combination.

In order to achieve the above-mentioned effects, the viscosity of component (G) at 25°C is 10 million mPa·s or more and 30 million mPa·s or less, preferably 12 million mPa·s or more and preferably 25 million mPa·s or less.

Component (G) preferably contains dimethiconol having a viscosity at 25°C of 10 million mPa·s or more and 30 million mPa·s or less and/or dimethylpolysiloxane having a viscosity at 25°C of 10 million mPa·s or more and 30 million mPa·s or less.

In this specification, the above "dimethiconol having a viscosity of 10 million mPa·s or more and 30 million mPa·s or less at 25°C" may be referred to as "component (G1)," and the above "dimethylpolysiloxane having a viscosity of 10 million mPa·s or more and 30 million mPa·s or less at 25°C" may be referred to as "component (G2)."

Therefore, it is preferable that component (G) contains component (G1) and/or component (G2). It is preferable that the cosmetic composition of the present invention contains component (G1) and component (G2).

Component (G1) is a compound in which the terminal methyl groups of dimethylpolysiloxane are replaced with hydroxyl groups.

In order to achieve the above-mentioned effects, the viscosity of component (G1) at 25°C is preferably 12 million mPa·s or more, and preferably 25 million mPa·s or less.

Commercially available products of component (G1) include products under the trade names "XF49-C2499", "XF49-C2520", "XF49-C4470", "XF49-C2497", "XF49-C4996", and "XF49-C2070" (all manufactured by Momentive Performance Materials, Inc.).

Component (G2) is dimethicone. Note that component (G2) does not include any component that corresponds to component (G1).

In order to achieve the above-mentioned effects, the viscosity of component (G2) at 25°C is preferably 12 million mPa·s or more, and preferably 25 million mPa·s or less.

Commercially available products of component (G2) include those under the trade names "XF49-811", "XF49-813", "XF49-D1747", "XF49-B2317", and "XF49-B1747" (all manufactured by Momentive Performance Materials, Inc.).

In 100% by mass of the cosmetic composition of the present invention, the content of component (G) is preferably 0.3% by mass or more, more preferably 0.5% by mass or more, preferably 5.0% by mass or less, more preferably 3.0% by mass or less. When the content of component (G) is equal to or more than the above lower limit and equal to or less than the above upper limit, the feel of the hair can be made even better while suppressing stickiness and unnatural gloss, and the smoothness of the hair can be further enhanced.

(Component (H))
Component (H) is a volatile oil. Component (H) is an oil (oil component) that is volatile at 25°C. By using component (H), oily components such as component (C) and component (G) can be made compatible. In addition, component (H) volatilizes after application of the cosmetic composition. Only one type of component (H) may be used, or two or more types may be used in combination.

The boiling point of component (H) is, for example, 250°C or less, preferably 230°C or less.

Examples of component (H) include cyclic silicone oil, methyl trimethicone, ethyl trisiloxane, trisiloxane, caprylyl methicone, hydrocarbon oil, and dimethylpolysiloxane having a viscosity at 25° C. of 0.1 mm ² /s or more and 2.0 mm ² /s or less.

Examples of the cyclic silicone oils include methylcyclopolysiloxane, octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane, decamethylcyclopentasiloxane, and dodecamethylcyclohexasiloxane.

The above-mentioned hydrocarbon oils include isoparaffin, light isoparaffin, light liquid isoparaffin, hydrogenated polyisobutene, hydrogenated (tetradecenyl/methylpentadecene), and isododecane.

From the viewpoint of imparting good shine to hair and further increasing the compatibility between component (C) and component (G), it is preferable that component (H) contains caprylyl methicone.

In this specification, the above "caprylyl methicone" may be referred to as "ingredient (H1)."

Therefore, it is preferable that component (H) contains component (H1). It is preferable that the cosmetic composition of the present invention contains component (H1). In particular, when the cosmetic composition of the present invention contains component (G), it is preferable that component (H) contains component (H1).

In 100% by mass of the cosmetic composition of the present invention, the content of component (H) is preferably 20.0% by mass or more, more preferably 30.0% by mass or more, even more preferably 50.0% by mass or more, preferably 80.0% by mass or less, and more preferably 70.0% by mass or less. When the content of component (H) is equal to or more than the above lower limit and equal to or less than the above upper limit, the oily components such as component (C) and component (G) can be more satisfactorily compatible.

In 100% by mass of the cosmetic composition of the present invention, the content of component (H1) is preferably 5.0% by mass or more, more preferably 10.0% by mass or more, preferably 50.0% by mass or less, more preferably 40.0% by mass or less. When the content of component (H1) is equal to or more than the above lower limit and equal to or less than the above upper limit, the compatibility between component (C) and component (G) can be further improved. In addition, good luster can be imparted to hair.

(Other ingredients)
The cosmetic composition of the present invention may contain other components in addition to the above-mentioned components (A) to (H) to the extent that the effects of the present invention are not impaired. The other components in addition to the above-mentioned components (A) to (H) may each be used alone or in combination of two or more.

The other components include oily components; lower alcohols such as ethanol; polyhydric alcohols other than component (D); surfactants such as nonionic surfactants, anionic surfactants, cationic surfactants, and amphoteric surfactants; thickeners such as carboxyvinyl polymers, acrylic acid/alkyl methacrylate copolymers, hydroxymethylcellulose, hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, and xanthan gum; moisturizers; bactericides; pearlizing agents; anti-inflammatory agents such as glycyrrhizic acid and its salts; cooling agents such as menthol; pH adjusters such as phosphoric acid and its salts, citric acid and its salts, lactic acid and its salts, sodium hydroxide, and triethanolamine; fragrances; ultraviolet absorbers; antioxidants; sequestering agents (chelating agents); film-forming polymeric compounds such as polyvinylpyrrolidone; powders such as kaolin, silica, and talc; dyes; pigments; vitamins; amino acids; astringents; whitening agents; animal and plant extracts; acids; alkalis, etc. The other components include, but are not limited to, the components contained in the above-mentioned components (A) to (H).

<Oily ingredients>
Examples of the oily component (the other oily component) include non-volatile hydrocarbon oils, non-volatile silicone oils having a viscosity of 1,000,000 mPa·s or less at 25° C., and ester oils other than fatty acid triglycerides.

The non-volatile hydrocarbon oil is a hydrocarbon oil that is not volatile at 25°C. Examples of the non-volatile hydrocarbon oil include α-olefin oligomer, squalane (synthetic squalane, vegetable squalane), squalene, liquid isoparaffin, and liquid paraffin (mineral oil).

The non-volatile silicone oil is a silicone oil that has no volatility at 25° C. Examples of the non-volatile silicone oil include dimethylpolysiloxane, amino-modified silicone (amodimethicone, etc.), methylphenylpolysiloxane, and alkyl-modified silicone, each of which has a viscosity at 25° C. of 10.0 mm ² /s or more and 1,000,000 mm ² /s or less.

Ester oils other than the above fatty acid triglycerides include ethyl oleate, isopropyl myristate, isopropyl palmitate, myristyl myristate, cetyl palmitate, 2-ethylhexyl palmitate, octyldodecyl myristate, isopropyl isostearate, propylene glycol isostearate, cetyl 2-ethylhexanoate, glyceryl tri-2-ethylhexanoate, isononyl isononanoate, diisopropyl adipate, pentaerythrityl tetraoctanoate, and pentaerythritol tetraisostearate. , diisostearyl malate, erythrityl triethylhexanoate, 2-ethylhexyl hydroxystearate, dipentaerythrityl hexa(hydroxystearic acid/stearic acid/rosin acid), dipentaerythrityl tetra(hydroxystearic acid/isostearate), dipentaerythrityl hexahydroxystearate, glyceryl (ethylhexanoate/stearic acid/adipic acid), dipentaerythrityl hexa(behenic acid/benzoic acid/ethylhexanoate), and alkyl benzoate (C12-15).

In 100% by mass of the cosmetic composition of the present invention, the content of the above oily component (the oily component that is the other component) is preferably 1.0% by mass or more, more preferably 5.0% by mass or more, preferably 60.0% by mass or less, more preferably 40.0% by mass or less.

(Other details of the cosmetic composition)
The viscosity of the cosmetic composition of the present invention at 25° C. is preferably 3,000 mPa·s or more, more preferably 5,000 mPa·s or more, and preferably 50,000 mPa·s or less, more preferably 40,000 mPa·s or less.

The viscosity is measured using a Brookfield viscometer with a No. 4 rotor at a rotation speed of 12 rpm for a rotation time of 1 minute. For example, a TV-22 viscometer manufactured by Toki Sangyo Co., Ltd. can be used as the viscometer.

The cosmetic composition of the present invention preferably has the properties of an oil gel having a liquid crystal gel structure.

The cosmetic composition of the present invention is preferably a hair cosmetic composition since it can enhance the effect of tying hair together and its durability. However, the cosmetic composition of the present invention may be used on parts other than hair. For example, the cosmetic composition of the present invention may be a skin cosmetic composition. Examples of the hair cosmetic composition include hair treatments (out-of-bath treatments such as hair oils; in-bath treatments such as hair rinses and hair conditioners), hair styling products, hair shampoos, etc. Examples of the skin cosmetic composition include skin cleansing compositions such as body shampoos, face washes, and makeup removers; moisturizing cosmetics such as body creams, body oils, body gels, face creams, face oils, face gels, and emulsions; makeup bases, makeup cosmetics, etc. The cosmetic composition of the present invention is preferably an out-of-bath treatment (a hair treatment that is used without rinsing after application).

A known method for producing a cosmetic composition can be used as a method for producing the cosmetic composition of the present invention. An example of a method for producing the cosmetic composition of the present invention is a method in which each component is stirred with a paddle mixer or the like.

The present invention will be specifically described below with reference to examples and comparative examples. The present invention is not limited to the following examples.

(Examples 1 to 24 and Comparative Examples 1 to 5)
Cosmetic compositions (hair cosmetic compositions) were prepared by blending the ingredients shown in Tables 1 to 6 below (blending units are mass %). The blend amounts in the tables (blending amounts in 100 mass % of the hair cosmetic composition) are shown as pure amounts (unit: mass %). The content of TEA in the tables is the amount that results in a pH of the cosmetic composition of about 8.2.

The cosmetic compositions obtained in Comparative Examples 1, 4, and 5 underwent phase separation, and therefore further evaluations were not performed. In addition, in the cosmetic compositions obtained in Examples 1 to 24 and Comparative Examples 2 and 3, liquid crystal gels were formed and no phase separation occurred.

(Test Example 1: Fluidity of Cosmetic Composition)
The obtained cosmetic composition was filled into a mayonnaise bottle, and the mayonnaise bottle was then tilted at an angle of 90° to observe whether the cosmetic composition flowed out of the mayonnaise bottle.

<Evaluation Criteria for Fluidity of Cosmetic Composition>
◯: The cosmetic composition flows and flows out of the mayonnaise bottle.
×: The cosmetic composition does not flow out of the mayonnaise bottle.

(Test Example 2: Hair management)
A hair bundle (length 30 cm, weight 10 g, hair bundle with aligned cuticles) was bleached using hydrogen peroxide and ammonia. The hair bundle was then permed (perm solution was applied to the hair bundle, the hair bundle was left wrapped around a rod, and the perm solution was washed off) to produce a wavy sample hair bundle.

Approximately 0.3 g of each cosmetic composition obtained in the Examples and Comparative Examples was evenly applied to the sample hair bundle. Immediately after application, the sample hair bundle was straightened by passing it over with a 180°C hair iron five times from top to bottom.

The sample hair bundles that had been straightened were visually observed, and the manageability of the hair was evaluated based on the following criteria:

○ (Good): The hair strands are straight.
× (bad): The hair bundle is clearly wavy.

(Test Example 3: Duration of hair manageability)
The sample hair bundle that had been subjected to the straightening treatment obtained in Test Example 2 was left for 8 hours under conditions of 35° C. and 80% RH. After being left, the sample hair bundle was observed and the durability of hair hold was evaluated based on the following evaluation criteria.

<Evaluation criteria for hair hold duration>
◯ (Good): The sample hair bundle remains in the same state as before it was left standing, does not spread out downwards, and the entire hair bundle is tightly packed.
× (Poor): Compared to the state of the sample hair bundle before it was left standing, the entire hair bundle is clearly spreading downward.

(Test Example 4: Smoothness of hair)
A hair bundle (length 30 cm, weight 10 g, hair bundle with aligned cuticles) was bleached using hydrogen peroxide and ammonia to prepare a sample hair bundle. Approximately 0.3 g of each cosmetic composition obtained in the Examples was evenly applied to the sample hair bundle, and it was dried with a hair dryer. Immediately after drying, the sample hair bundle was passed over with fingers from top to bottom, and the feel was evaluated. As a result, the hair bundles treated with each of the cosmetic compositions obtained in Examples 1 to 23 did not feel like they caught on the fingers at all, and were very easy to run the fingers through. On the other hand, the hair bundle treated with the cosmetic composition obtained in Example 24 felt like it caught on the fingers slightly.

(Test Example 5: Viscosity of cosmetic composition at 25°C)
The viscosity at 25°C of each of the cosmetic compositions obtained in Examples 1 to 4, 6 to 10, 12 to 14, and 16 was measured using a B-type viscometer (TV-22 type viscometer, manufactured by Toki Sangyo Co., Ltd.) with a No. 4 rotor at a rotation speed of 12 rpm for a rotation time of 1 minute.

The compositions and results are shown in Tables 1 to 6 below. In the tables, items marked with "-" were not evaluated.

Component A: A compound selected from the group consisting of polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether phosphate, polyoxyalkylene alkenyl ether phosphate, and salts thereof. Component B: A polyglycerol fatty acid ester having one or more alkyl groups having 8 to 12 carbon atoms. Component C: A vegetable oil and/or a fatty acid triglyceride.
