Description

The present invention relates to gaming machines such as pachinko machines.

In gaming machines such as pachinko machines, decorative and other adhesive sheets are attached to various parts of the gaming machine body, such as gaming parts in the gaming area (Patent Document 1). Recently, it has also become common to reuse gaming parts by replacing the adhesive sheets with ones of a different design.

Below, an embodiment of the invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. Figures 1 to 21 show an example of a first embodiment in which the present invention is applied to a pachinko machine. In Figures 1 and 2, the gaming machine main body 1 comprises an outer frame 2 and a front frame 3 arranged in front of the outer frame 2. The front frame 3 is pivotally attached to the outer frame 2 via a first hinge 4 in the up-down direction arranged at one end in the left-right direction, for example the left end, so that it can be opened, closed, and detached freely, and can be locked in a closed state relative to the outer frame 2 by a locking means 5 provided on the opposite side in the left-right direction to the first hinge 4, for example the right end.

The front frame 3 includes an inner frame 6 and a glass door 7 arranged in front of the inner frame 6. The glass door 7 is pivotally attached to the inner frame 6 via a second hinge 8 arranged in the vertical direction at one end in the left-right direction, for example at the left end, so that it can be opened, closed, and detached freely, and can be locked in the closed state relative to the inner frame 6 by the locking means 5.

As shown in FIG. 2, the outer frame 2 is formed in a rectangular shape by a pair of left and right vertical frame members 2a, 2b and a pair of upper and lower horizontal frame members 2c, 2d. A front cover member 9 made of synthetic resin is attached to the lower front side of the outer frame 2 so as to connect the lower front sides of the left and right vertical frame members 2a, 2b along the front edge of the lower horizontal frame member 2d. The front cover member 9 protrudes forward from the left and right vertical frame members 2a, 2b, and the inner frame 6 is disposed above it. In addition, the outer frame 2 has an upper outer frame hinge metal fitting 11 constituting the first hinge 4 disposed, for example, at the upper left, and a lower outer frame hinge metal fitting 12 disposed above the front cover member 9 at the lower left.

The inner frame 6 is made of synthetic resin and integrally comprises a rectangular frame section 13 that is above the front cover member 9 and can abut the front edge of the outer frame 2, a game board mounting section 14 provided on the upper side of the frame section 13, and a lower mounting section 15 provided on the lower side of the frame section 13. A game board 16 is detachably mounted on the game board mounting section 14 from the front side, and a launching means 17, a lower speaker 18, etc. are arranged on the front side of the lower mounting section 15. The glass door 7 is equipped with a resin door base 22 formed in a rectangular shape corresponding to the front side of the inner frame 6. In this door base 22, a window hole 24a of a glass window 24 is formed corresponding to the front side of a play area 23 formed on the game board 16, and various presentation means such as multiple (four in this case) upper speakers 25, a frame first movable body 26, a frame second movable body 27, and a ventilation means 28 are arranged around the window hole 24a.

At the upper front side of the door base 22, a side unit 30 is attached to at least a part of the outer periphery of the window hole 24a, for example, an inverted L-shaped part corresponding to the upper and right sides of the window hole 24a, and an upper decorative cover 31 is attached to the other part, for example, the left side of the window hole 24a. As shown in Figures 2 and 3, the side unit 30 can be easily attached and detached by operating the fixing screw 30a and the fixing lever 30b on the back side of the front frame 3 without using special tools when the glass door 7 is open. Normally, the front frame 3 is used in common with multiple models, and a different game board 16 is attached to this front frame 3 to realize the gameplay and design unique to that model. However, in this pachinko machine, a part of the front side of the front frame 3 is made into the side unit 30, which is easier to attach and detach than other parts, and this side unit 30 is given a design that is integrated with the game board 16 and a unique function, making it possible to increase the degree of freedom in design and function for each model while commonizing most of the front frame 3.

The side unit 30 of this embodiment is equipped with a first frame movable body 26, a second frame movable body 27, an air blowing means 28, etc. The first frame movable body 26 is formed in a predetermined three-dimensional shape (here, a butterfly shape) and can slide in approximately the front and rear directions when driven by a drive means not shown. The second frame movable body 27 is formed in a predetermined three-dimensional shape and can slide in approximately the front and rear directions when driven by a drive means not shown, and can be pushed in by the player. The movable performance means 58 includes a movable body 77, a movable body guide means 78 that movably supports the movable body 77, and a drive means 79 that drives the movable body 77. The movable body 77 is formed in a horizontally elongated shape, and its front side is decorated with any decoration (not shown) such as a logo indicating the model name, and an LED board 81 with multiple LEDs 81a is arranged inside on the front side.

The first rail member 51a is formed in a generally arched shape from the lower left side of the transparent main body plate 50 through the approximate center of the left edge, the approximate center of the upper edge, and the upper right corner. It is integrally provided with a front wall portion 84 parallel to the transparent main body plate 50 and a peripheral wall portion 85 of a generally constant width protruding rearward from the peripheral portion of the front wall portion 84, and is detachably fixed to the transparent main body plate 50 with the rear end side of the peripheral wall portion 85 abutting against the front surface of the transparent main body plate 50. The peripheral wall portion 85a of the first rail member 51a on the playing area 23 side is formed in a generally arc shape when viewed from the front, and the game ball launched by the launching means 17 is guided by this peripheral wall portion 85a and rises toward the playing area 23. A metal plate may be placed on at least a portion of this peripheral wall portion 85a.

The second rail member 51b is formed as a plate of a constant width in the front-rear direction that stands approximately vertically on the front side of the transparent main body plate 50, and is arranged in an approximately arc shape parallel to the inside of the first rail member 51a from the upper left to the lower left of the transparent main body plate 50. The portion sandwiched between the first rail member 51a and the second rail member 51b forms a launch guide passage 86 that guides the game ball launched by the launching means 17 to the game area 23. At least a portion of this second rail member 51b may be made of a metal plate.

The third rail member 51c is formed in a generally L-shape in front view along the right and bottom edges of the transparent main body plate 50 so as to connect the upper right end of the first rail member 51a and the lower left end of the second rail member 51b, and is integrally provided with a front wall portion 87 parallel to the transparent main body plate 50 and a peripheral wall portion 88 of a generally constant width protruding rearward from the peripheral portion of the front wall portion 87, and is removably fixed to the transparent main body plate 50 with the rear end side of the peripheral wall portion 88 abutting against the front surface of the transparent main body plate 50. A metal plate may be placed on at least a portion of the peripheral wall portion 88a on the play area 23 side.

As shown in FIG. 8, the transparent main body plate 50 has one or more (here, three) mounting holes 50a-50c formed in the area corresponding to the play area 23, penetrating the front-rear direction. The central display frame unit 53 and the big prize unit 55 are fixed to the mounting hole 50a, the start prize unit 54 to the mounting hole 50b, and the normal prize unit 56 to the mounting hole 50c, respectively, so that they can be detached from the front side. Note that multiple unit parts such as the central display frame unit 53 and the big prize unit 55 may be formed integrally. The transparent main body plate 50 has a main body decoration 89 formed in a predetermined area on at least one of the front side and the back side, here on the back side. This main body decoration 89 is a two-dimensional decoration consisting of a color illustration or the like, which is formed by printing directly on the surface of the transparent main body plate 50. By providing this on the back side of the transparent main body plate 50, deterioration due to rubbing of the balls can be prevented. At least a part of this main body decoration 89 is translucent, and is designed to transmit light from LEDs 83a (Figures 6 and 7) and the like arranged on the rear side of the transparent main body plate 50. The main body decoration 89 may be formed on an attachment sheet and attached to the front side and/or back side of the transparent main body plate 50. This makes it easy to reuse the transparent main body plate 50 and to share it among multiple models.

The central display frame unit 53 constitutes a display frame for the liquid crystal display means 57 and the movable presentation means 58, and as shown in Figures 5, 6, 9, etc., an opening window 91 corresponding to the rear liquid crystal display means 57 is formed in approximately the center and is located on the upper side in approximately the center of the game area 23. The first to fourth versions are cyan (C), magenta (M), yellow (Y), and black (K), respectively, and a full-color illustration is formed using these three primary colors plus black. As shown in FIG. 14(a), the illustration (decoration) on the decorative sticker S13 is composed of a first decorative portion 181 consisting of a butterfly, a dragonfly, a stag beetle, and a tree, and a second decorative portion 182, which is the background portion of these. The fourth plate is a glue plate, and the glue layer of this decorative sticker S16 is a full glue layer with no non-glued areas as shown in FIG. 17(c). This decorative sticker S16 is elongated and relatively small in area, and if a partial glue layer (peripheral area + α (non-translucent area, decorative area, non-transparent area)) similar to the other decorative stickers S11 to S13, S15, etc. is used, the cost will be high even though the glue area is not much different from the full glue layer, so a full glue layer is used from the perspective of cost-effectiveness. This performance information display sticker S21 displays the performance information of the gaming machine, and therefore may need to be replaced if the parts are reused; however, since it is not intended for decorative purposes and is placed outside the playing area 23, in this embodiment a full adhesive layer is used to prioritize costs, etc. Also, since it is sufficient to ensure that the information is easy to read and appearance is not important, costs are kept down by keeping the number of plates and colors as small as possible.

This external terminal information display sticker S22 is affixed to the front frame 3 side and displays information about the first external terminal under the control of the dispensing/firing control board 156, so there is little chance of it needing to be replaced, and therefore in this embodiment a full adhesive layer is used to prioritize cost and resistance to peeling. Also, as long as the information is easy to read and appearance is not important, costs are kept down by keeping the number of versions and colors as small as possible.

The appearance of each plate (1st to 3rd plates) is as shown in Figs. 21(a) to (c). In this embodiment, the white (100%) plate constituting the opening information entry area 222 etc. is placed on the front (upper) side of the main sheet, taking into consideration that information will be written later by handwriting or the like in the opening information entry area 222. In addition, the main board management number for each model will be printed in the management number display area 221 in a separate process that will be performed later. In this way, the main board information display sticker S23 has three printing plates, two printing colors, and a full-surface adhesive layer is used, at least a part of which is translucent and at least a part of which is transparent.

This main board information display sticker S23 is affixed to the main control board case 142 on the back of the gaming machine body, and displays information about the main control board 141, so it is unlikely to need to be replaced, and therefore in this embodiment a full adhesive layer is used to prioritize cost and resistance to peeling. Also, since it is not intended for decorative purposes and all that is required is to ensure that the information is easy to read, costs are kept to a minimum by keeping the number of versions and colors as small as possible. Note that no LEDs are located behind the main board information display sticker S23, but a transparent sheet is used so that the electronic components mounted on the rear board can be seen.

As explained above, in this pachinko machine, decorative stickers (attachment sheets) S11-S16 with a glue layer on the back side are attached to the transparent attachment portions 131-136, respectively. Of these decorative stickers S11-S16, decorative stickers S11-S13 and S15 have glued portions with glue and non-glued portions without glue on the glue layer. As shown in FIG. 12, decorative sticker S11 has non-glued portions in at least part of the areas corresponding to the transparent portions, translucent portions, and non-decorative portions, and glued portions in at least part of the areas along the outer periphery of the attachment sheet and the areas corresponding to the non-transparent portions, non-translucent portions, and decorative portions. As shown in Fig. 16, the decorative sticker S15 has non-pasteurized areas in at least a portion of the area corresponding to the transparent, translucent and non-decorative parts, and has glued areas in at least a portion of the area along the outer periphery of the application sheet and in the area corresponding to the non-transparent, non-translucent and decorative parts, and has a transparent area in front of the ball passage area through which the ball passes, i.e., the second inclined rolling path 121, the distribution guide path 119a and the distribution means 119.

For the decorative sticker S12, non-decorative parts (light-emitting parts) 173-175 are provided corresponding to the LEDs (light-emitting elements for notification) 69a, 69b constituting the normal symbol display means 69, the LEDs (light-emitting elements for notification) 70a-70d constituting the normal reserved number display means 70, the 7-segment LED (light-emitting element for notification) constituting the second special symbol display means 72, and the LED (light-emitting element for notification) 60a constituting the right-hit notification means 60, and the areas corresponding to the non-decorative parts (light-emitting parts) 173-175 are provided as translucent parts and non-paste parts. Similarly, for the decorative sticker S13, a non-decorative part (light-emitting part) 183 is provided corresponding to the 7-segment LED (light-emitting element for notification) constituting the first special symbol display means 71, and the area corresponding to the non-decorative part (light-emitting part) 183 is provided as a translucent part and non-paste parts.

In addition, the decorative stickers S11-S13, S15 (first attachment sheets attached to attachment areas that players cannot touch) have a partial adhesive layer with glued areas and non-glued areas, whereas the warning stickers S1-S4 (second attachment sheets attached to attachment areas that players can touch) have a full adhesive layer with no non-glued areas.

In addition, the adhesive strength of the adhesive layer is stronger for the performance information display sticker S21, the external terminal information display sticker S22, and the main board information display sticker S23 (all second adhesive sheets for displaying information) than for the decorative stickers S11 to S13, S15 (first adhesive sheet for decoration), and stronger for the warning stickers S1 to S7, the performance information display sticker S21, the external terminal information display sticker S22, and the main board information display sticker S23 (all second adhesive sheets affixed to an adhesive part outside the playing area) than for the decorative stickers S11 to S13, S15 (first adhesive sheet affixed to an adhesive part inside the playing area), and stronger for the warning stickers S5 to S7, the external terminal information display sticker S22, and the main board information display sticker S23 (all second adhesive sheets affixed to an adhesive part outside the playing area) than for the decorative stickers S11 to S13, S15 (first adhesive sheet affixed to an adhesive part on the front side of the gaming machine main body). Comparing the decorative stickers S11 to S16 (first decorative adhesive sheets) with the warning stickers S1 to S7, performance information display sticker S21, external terminal information display sticker S22, and main board information display sticker S23 (all second information display sheets), the latter use fewer colors and fewer printing plates. Also, the multiple types of warning stickers S1 to S7 use the same number of colors (3 in this case) and types of colors (yellow, black, white).

The multiple types of warning stickers (warning sticker sheets) S1 to S7, which differ in shape and/or the content of the warning information displayed, use the same number of colors and common symbols (first warning symbol s1, second warning symbol s2). The color combination (yellow, black, white) used in the warning stickers S1 to S7 is not used in the other sticker sheets. The warning stickers S1 to S4 are attached to a receiving portion that can be touched by the player, and have a full-surface adhesive layer with adhesive attached to almost the entire surface.

Figure 22 illustrates a second embodiment of the present invention, in which the decorative seal S11 in the first embodiment is partially modified to include a glossy plate. The only difference between this embodiment and the first embodiment is that a glossy plate has been added to the decorative seal S11.

Figure 22 corresponds to Figure 12 relating to the first embodiment, and a silver or other pasta glossy plate (new 5th plate) is placed between the silk 4th plate (CMYK colors) and the silk white (100%) plate. Note that the aspects of the plates other than the glossy plate are the same as in the first embodiment. Thus, in the decorative sticker S11 of this embodiment, the number of printing plates is 7, and the number of printed colors is 6 (including gloss).

The area (glossy area) of the fifth plate (glossy plate) coincides with the area of the second decorative portion 162. In other words, a glossy layer is placed behind the second decorative portion 162. This adds a glossy feel to the area of the second decorative portion 162 while maintaining its color, and it reflects light and appears to sparkle.

The glossy plate may be placed on top of the color plate. In this case, the color behind the glossy area will be hidden. Also, special plates other than the pasta glossy plate, such as crepe plates or grain plates, may be used.

Although the embodiment of the present invention has been described above in detail, the present invention is not limited to the above embodiment, and various modifications are possible within the scope of the present invention. For example, when a partial adhesive layer is adopted, it is desirable that the adhesive portion of the outer peripheral region is arranged at a constant width without interruption along the outer periphery of the main body sheet, but partial interruptions and width changes are also acceptable. For example, when the outer periphery of the main body sheet has a U-shaped or other cutout, it is desirable to arrange the adhesive portion at a constant width along the cutout as shown in FIG. 23(A), but as shown in FIG. 23(B) and (C), depending on the size and shape of the cutout, interruptions and narrow widths may occur in the adhesive portion of the outer peripheral region. If ease of peeling is prioritized, FIG. 23(B) and (C) are more advantageous than FIG. 23(A). In addition, a part of the outer peripheral region may be a non-glued portion, or the width of the adhesive portion of a part of the outer peripheral region may be narrowed (narrow width portion). This makes it easier to peel off the application sheet because a tool can be inserted into the non-glued portion or narrow width portion when peeling off the application sheet.

In the embodiment, a full adhesive layer is used for the decorative seals S14 and S16, which have a relatively small surface area, among the decorative seals S11 to S16. In such a case, a glue having a lower adhesive strength may be used for the full adhesive layer than for the partial adhesive layer. Also, a partial adhesive layer may be used for the decorative seals S14 and S16.

In the embodiment, as shown in FIG. 10, a common color arrangement is used for all the multiple types of attention stickers S1 to S7, but multiple types of color arrangements may be used. However, even in this case, it is preferable that the color combination (yellow, black, white) used is common and that the color combination is not used on other attachment sheets. FIG. 24 shows an example in which a different color arrangement is used for attention stickers S5 to S7 among the attention stickers S1 to S7 shown in FIG. 10. In the attention stickers S5 to S7 shown in FIG. 24, the background is white and the characters etc. are black, with a black border around the periphery of the main sheet. In addition, the first attention symbol s1' is configured with a black "!" in a yellow triangle with a black border.

In the warning sticker S5 shown in FIG. 24(A), the first display portion a1 formed in an area of a certain width along the top edge displays the first warning symbol s1' and the second warning symbol s2 consisting of the word "Caution" written in black Gothic font, and below that, the second display portion a2 displays the horizontal text "Be careful of the edges of metal parts" in black Gothic font.

The warning sticker S6 shown in Fig. 24(B) is not divided into two areas, the first display part a1 and the second display part a2, and the second warning symbol s2 is not displayed. Instead, the first warning symbol s1' is displayed at the beginning of two types of text, "Watch out for electric shock and edges" and "Watch out when opening the back cover," which indicate what to be careful of. The warning sticker S7 shown in Fig. 24(C) is also not divided into two areas, the first display part a1 and the second display part a2, and the second warning symbol s2 is not displayed. Instead, the first warning symbol s1' is displayed next to the text, "Watch out for high temperatures on the power supply board," which indicates what to be careful of.

The warning sticker shown in FIG. 24 uses the same color combination (yellow, black, white) as the warning sticker shown in FIG. 10, so just like in FIG. 11, a white main sheet made of a material such as PET or paper is printed on the front (upper) side with two colors, yellow (Y color) and black (K color), by silk screen printing or the like, and the back side is provided with a full adhesive layer (adhesive plate) with adhesive applied to the entire surface.

In the embodiment, an example is shown in which the main board information display sticker S23 uses two colors, white and black, but only one of the colors, white or black, may be used. Also, while printing is performed using a white plate on each of the top and back sides of the main body sheet, the white plate may be placed on only one of the top and back sides. Also, an information display attachment sheet similar to the main board information display sticker S23 may be attached to other board cases as well.

The embodiment shows an example of the invention being applied to a pachinko machine, but it can also be applied to various other gaming machines such as slot machines, arrange ball machines, and mahjong ball machines.
