- 排気ガスの窒素酸化物を浄化する排気浄化装置であって、
エンジンから排出された前記排気ガスを所定の排気方向へ流通させる排気通路に設けられ、前記排気ガスの還元を促進する触媒と、
前記排気方向において前記触媒よりも上流側で前記排気通路に設けられ、前記排気ガスを還元する還元剤を噴射する噴射ノズルと、を備え、
前記噴射ノズルは、前記触媒に向けて前記排気方向に沿って前記還元剤を噴射する噴射孔と、
前記排気方向において前記噴射孔よりも上流側に設けられ、少なくとも前記排気方向の対向方向であって前記噴射孔の側とは反対側に冷却媒体を排出する排出孔と、を備えていることを特徴とする排気浄化装置。 - 前記噴射ノズルは、供給された前記冷却媒体の全量を前記排出孔から排出することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の排気浄化装置。
- 前記排気通路の壁を貫通して前記排気通路の内側へ延びるように設けられた支持部材を更に備え、
前記噴射ノズルは、前記排気通路の内側で前記支持部材の端部に取り付けられ、前記噴射孔から前記排気方向に沿って前記還元剤を噴射することを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の排気浄化装置。 - 過給機で昇圧された昇圧空気を前記エンジンへ供給する過給通路から分岐した接続通路を更に備え、
前記噴射ノズルは、前記接続通路を介して前記過給通路に接続されていて、前記過給通路から前記接続通路を流通する前記昇圧空気を前記冷却媒体として噴射することを特徴とする請求項1ないし3の何れか1項に記載の排気浄化装置。 - 前記接続通路は、前記過給通路における前記昇圧空気の給気方向において、前記過給通路に設けられるインタークーラよりも下流側で前記過給通路から分岐して構成されていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の排気浄化装置。
- 前記接続通路を通過する前記昇圧空気の流量を所定の調整量以下に調整する調整機構を更に備えることを特徴とする請求項4又は5に記載の排気浄化装置。
- 前記噴射ノズルは、前記噴射孔と前記排出孔とが前記排気通路の径方向において同じ位置に配置されるように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし6の何れか1項に記載の排気浄化装置。
- 船体に搭載される前記エンジンに適用されることを特徴とする請求項1ないし7の何れか1項に記載の排気浄化装置。
- 請求項1~8の何れか1項に記載の排気浄化装置を備えることを特徴とするエンジン。
