Description
湿気硬化性ポリマー系
好ましくは0.5重量%未満、特に好ましくは0.1重量%未満、極めて特に好ましくは0.05重量%未満、特に0.01重量%未満の量で、大気圧(1バール)で200℃未満の沸点を有する低分子量有機化合物として定義される。溶媒は、一般的に、高粘度ポリマーに添加され、ポリマーを可溶化し、調製物の粘度を低下させる。一般的に、接着剤調製物に使用される有機溶媒は、ベンゼン、トルエン、酢酸エチル、酢酸ブチル、酢酸プロピル、メチルエチルケトン、メチルイソブチルケトン、2-メトキシプロピルアセテート、N-メチルピロリドンである。床接着剤の調製における有害化学物質の使用を最小限に抑え、揮発性有機化合物(VOC)と有害大気汚染物質(HAP)の排出を削減するために、これらの溶媒は使用されなかった。
接着剤組成物はさらに、30~60wt.%の炭酸カルシウムフィラー系を含む。接着剤組成物に使用される炭酸カルシウムフィラー系の他の好ましいwt.%範囲としては、30~50wt.%、30~40wt.%、40~60wt.%、40~50wt.%および50~60wt.%が挙げられ、wt.%は、接着剤組成物の総重量に基づく。様々な実施形態において、炭酸カルシウムフィラー系は、ケイ酸アルミニウムを含まない。
接着剤組成物は、5~15wt.%の種子油系脂肪酸エステルをさらに含み、そのwt.%は、接着剤組成物の総重量に基づいており、種子油系脂肪酸エステルが可塑剤として作用する。本開示の種子油系脂肪酸エステルは、種子油のグリセロール成分を異なるアルコールと置換する種子油のエステル交換によって生成される脂肪酸エステルである。種子油の好ましい例としては、大豆油が挙げられる。また有用な植物油の他の例としては、ヒマシ油、オリーブ油、ピーナツ油、ナタネ油、コーン油、ゴマ油、綿実油、キャノーラ油、ベニバナ油、アマニ油、パーム油、ブドウ種子油、ブラックキャラウェイ油、カボチャ核油、ボラージシード油、樹木胚芽油、アプリコットカーネル油、ピスタチオ油、アーモンド油、マカデミアナッツ油、アボカド油、シーバックソーン油、ヘンプ油、ヘーゼルナッツ油、月見草油、野バラ油、アザミ油、クルミ油、ヒマワリ油、ジャトロファ種子油、またはこれらの油のうち2つ以上の組み合わせが挙げられる。他の種子油の使用も可能である。有用になり得る動物製品の例としては、ラード、牛脂、魚油、およびこれらの製品の2つ以上の混合物が含まれる。さらに、藻類などの生物から得られる油も使用できる。植物系、藻類系、および動物系の油脂を組み合わせて使用することもできる。
接着剤組成物は、0.1~10wt.%のシラン系接着促進剤をさらに含み、wt.%は、接着剤組成物の総重量に基づく。本開示のシラン系接着促進剤は、アミン基、イソシアネート基またはエポキシ基の末端反応性基を有する二官能性シラノールカップリング剤であり得る。適切な例としては、3-グリシドキシプロピルトリメトキシシラン(GLYMO)、グリシドキシプロピルトリエトキシシラン(GLEO)イソシアネートプロピルトリメトキシシラン、またはそれらの組み合わせが挙げられる。他の有用な接着促進剤の例としては、N-2-アミノエチル-3-アミノプロピル-トリエトキシシラン、ガンマ-アミノプロピルトリエトキシシラン、ガンマ-アミノプロピルトリメトキシシラン、アミノプロピルトリメトキシシラン、ビス-ガンマ-トリメトキシシリルプロピル)アミン、N-フェニル-ガンマ-アミノプロピルトリメトキシシラン、トリアミノ官能基トリメトキシシランおよびガンマ-アミノプロピル-メチルジエトキシシランが挙げられる。組成物は、存在する場合、一般的に、0.1~10wt。%、より一般的に0.5~8wt.%、さらにより一般的に1~6wt.%の接着促進剤を含む。
様々な実施形態では、接着剤組成物は、任意の添加剤をさらに含むことができる。例えば、接着剤組成物は、0.5~4wt.%のシリカ系レオロジー調整剤をさらに含むことができ、wt.%は、接着剤組成物の総重量に基づく。シリカ系レオロジー調整剤の例としては、商品名AEROSIL R202またはAEROSIL R805(EVONIK)で市販されているようなポリジメチルシロキサン処理ヒュームドシリカが挙げられる。

20~50重量パーセント(wt.%)の湿気硬化性ポリマー系と、
30~60wt.%の炭酸カルシウムフィラー系であって、前記炭酸カルシウムフィラー系が、
70ナノメートル(nm)~15マイクロメートル(μm)の球相当平均径を有する5~50wt.%の炭酸カルシウムの第1の球状粒子と、
15μm超~200μmの球相当平均径を有する50~95wt.%の炭酸カルシウムの第2の球状粒子とを有し、
前記第1の球状粒子および前記第2の球状粒子の前記wt.%が、前記炭酸カルシウムフィラー系の総重量に基づいている、炭酸カルシウムフィラー系と、
5~15wt.%の種子油系脂肪酸エステルと、
0.1~10wt.%のシラン系接着促進剤とを含み、
前記湿気硬化性ポリマー系、前記炭酸カルシウムフィラー系、前記種子油系脂肪酸エステルおよび前記シラン系接着促進剤の前記wt.%が、前記接着剤組成物の前記総重量に基づいている、接着剤組成物。

前記接着剤組成物が、0.5~4wt.%のシリカ系レオロジー調整剤をさらに含み、前記wt.%が、前記接着剤組成物の総重量に基づく、項1に記載の接着剤組成物。

前記湿気硬化性ポリマー系が、無溶媒である、項1に記載の接着剤組成物。

前記湿気硬化性ポリマー系が、イソシアネート成分とポリオール成分との反応生成物であり、前記湿気硬化性ポリマー系が1重量パーセント(wt.%)~14wt.%の遊離イソシアネート含有量(%NCO)を有する、項1に記載の接着剤組成物。

前記ポリオール成分が、ポリエーテルポリオール、ポリエステルポリオール、およびそれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される、項4に記載の接着剤組成物。

前記ポリオール成分が、1,000g/mol~6,000g/molの数平均分子量を有する、項5に記載の接着剤組成物。

前記種子油系脂肪酸エステルが、大豆油から生成されるメチルエステルである、項1~9のいずれか一項に記載の接着剤組成物。

前記接着剤組成物が、0.01 1/秒の剪断速度で500Pa・s~10000Pa・sの粘度である、項1~10のいずれか一項に記載の接着剤組成物。

前記接着剤組成物が、0.01 1/秒の剪断速度で800Pa・sおよび5000Pa・sの粘度を有する、項1~10のいずれか一項に記載の接着剤組成物。

前記接着剤組成物が、未硬化状態で0.5Hz~25Hzのクロスオーバーポイントを有する、項1~12のいずれか一項に記載の接着剤組成物。
ここで、本開示のいくつかの実施形態について、以下の実施例で詳細に記載する。
VORANOL(商標)2000LMおよびVORANOL(商標)CP6001を、60℃の乾燥窒素で、ポリオールの含水量が200パーツパーミリオン(ppm)未満になるまでパージする。プレポリマー合成のために、メカニカルスターラー、熱電対、窒素注入口を備えた4首丸底フラスコを準備する。80グラム(g)のVORANOL(商標)2000LMと、80gのVORANOL(商標)CP6001とを、乾燥窒素(N2)ガス下で丸底フラスコに入れ、5分間混合して、ポリオール混合物を形成する。40gのISONATE(商標)50OPをポリオール混合物に加え、5分間混合して、ポリオール/イソシアネート混合物を形成する。2-エチルヘキサン酸スズ(II)(T9触媒)を50ppm(ポリオール/イソシアネート混合物に基づいて)の濃度でポリオール/イソシアネート混合物に加え、攪拌しながら70℃まで加熱する。反応の完了を%NCO滴定により決定するまで、混合物を70℃で2時間維持する。目標イソシアネート含有量は、4.13±0.01wt.%である。調製物に使用するためにプレポリマーを冷却する。実施例および比較例を本明細書に提供する。
実施例および比較例の調製におけるすべての真空は、26インチHg、88KPaである。実施例および比較用接着剤組成物を、本明細書で提供するように、1台のQuart Double Planetary ROSS ミキサー(Ross&Son Company)で調製する。実施例および比較例用の接着剤組成物を調製する一般的な手順は以下の通りである。実施例(EX)および比較例(CE)について、表2~6に示した量(値を組成物の総重量に基づく重量パーセントとして示す)の成分をROSSミキサーに以下のように添加する。まず、プレポリマーおよび可塑剤を加えて液体成分を形成する。ROSSミキサー中の液体成分を50℃に温め、真空下で22回転/分(rpm)で30分間混合する。30分後、窒素下で真空状態を解除して、液体成分が脱気され、透明な液体であることを確認する。次に、モレキュラーシーブを加え、真空下、22rpmで30分間混合する。混合後、窒素下で真空状態を解除し、液体成分系の均質性を確認する。第1のフィラーを液体成分系に追加し、30分間混合する。次に、第2のフィラーを液体成分系および第1のフィラーに添加し、真空下で30分間混合する。フィラーの添加が完了したら、窒素下で真空状態を解除する。レオロジー調整剤を加え、真空下で20分間混合する。これに続いて接着促進剤を添加し、真空下で20分間混合する。窒素下で真空状態を解除し、粘度およびレオロジー試験のために調製された系のサンプルを採取する。調製系に触媒(調製された系に基づいて750ppm)を添加し、真空下で20分間混合して、接着剤組成物を形成する。さらなる試験のために、窒素下で接着剤組成物をカートリッジに充填する。
Claims (10)
- 接着剤組成物であって、
20~50重量パーセント(wt.%)の湿気硬化性ポリマー系と、
30~60wt.%の炭酸カルシウムフィラー系であって、前記炭酸カルシウムフィラー系が、
70ナノメートル(nm)~15マイクロメートル(μm)の球相当平均径を有する5~50wt.%の炭酸カルシウムの第1の球状粒子と、
15μm超~200μmの球相当平均径を有する50~95wt.%の炭酸カルシウムの第2の球状粒子とを有し、
前記第1の球状粒子および前記第2の球状粒子の前記wt.%が、前記炭酸カルシウムフィラー系の総重量に基づいている、炭酸カルシウムフィラー系と、
5~15wt.%の種子油系脂肪酸エステルと、
0.1~10wt.%のシラン系接着促進剤とを含み、
前記湿気硬化性ポリマー系、前記炭酸カルシウムフィラー系、前記種子油系脂肪酸エステルおよび前記シラン系接着促進剤の前記wt.%は、前記接着剤組成物の総重量に基づいている、接着剤組成物。 - 前記接着剤組成物が、0.5~4wt.%のシリカ系レオロジー調整剤をさらに含み、前記wt.%が、前記接着剤組成物の総重量に基づく、請求項1に記載の接着剤組成物。
- 前記湿気硬化性ポリマー系が、無溶媒である、請求項1に記載の接着剤組成物。
- 前記湿気硬化性ポリマー系が、イソシアネート成分とポリオール成分との反応生成物であり、前記湿気硬化性ポリマー系が1重量パーセント(wt.%)~14wt.%の遊離イソシアネート含有量(%NCO)を有する、請求項1に記載の接着剤組成物。
- 前記ポリオール成分が、ポリエーテルポリオール、ポリエステルポリオール、およびそれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される、請求項4に記載の接着剤組成物。
- 前記ポリオール成分が、1,000g/mol~6,000g/molの数平均分子量を有する、または
前記イソシアネート成分が、500g/mol~12,000g/molの数平均分子量を有する、請求項5に記載の接着剤組成物。 - 前記イソシアネート成分が、芳香族ジイソシアネート、脂肪族ジイソシアネート、脂環式ジイソシアネート、およびそれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される、請求項4~6のいずれか一項に記載の接着剤組成物。
