Abstract
Description
以下の実施形態では、上記圧縮装置の一例である電気化学式水素ポンプの構成および動作について説明する。
図1Aは、実施形態の電気化学式水素ポンプの一例を示す図である。図1Bは、図1AのB部の拡大図である。
図2Aは、実施形態の電気化学式水素ポンプにおける熱媒体流路の一例を示す斜視図である。図2Bは、図2Aの熱媒体流路の接続箇所の一例を平面視した図である。
熱媒体流路64、熱媒体排出路69および熱媒体導出マニホールドは、図2Aの各部材を180°回転させ、ガスの流れ方向を逆にすることで構成することができる。よって、本構成の詳細は、上記の熱媒体流路65、熱媒体供給路67および熱媒体導入マニホールド66の説明から容易に理解できるので説明を省略する。
以下、電気化学式水素ポンプ100の水素圧縮動作の一例について、図面を参照しながら説明する。

本実施例の電気化学式水素ポンプ100は、以下に説明する熱媒体流路65の構成以外は、実施形態の電気化学式水素ポンプ100と同様である。

Claims (3)
- 電解質膜をアノードとカソードで挟持した電気化学セルを複数積層したスタックと、
前記スタックの積層方向における端部に設けられた端板と、
前記アノードとカソード間に電圧を印加する電圧印加器と、を備え、
前記電圧印加器により電圧を印加することで、前記アノードに供給された水素含有ガス中の水素を、前記カソードに移動させ、圧縮された水素を生成する圧縮装置であって、
前記端板には、熱媒体が通流する第1流路が設けられ、
前記スタックには、当該スタックを貫通し、前記第1流路と接続された第2流路が設けられ、
前記第1流路の断面積は、前記第2流路の断面積より小さく、
前記第1流路は、環状流路と、前記環状流路を横断する横断路とを備え、
前記第2流路は、前記環状流路と前記横断路との接続箇所において前記横断路と接続され、
前記スタック外に設けられ、前記熱媒体が流れる熱媒体外部流路は、前記横断路と前記第2流路との接続箇所と異なる箇所において前記横断路と接続される、圧縮装置。 - 前記熱媒体外部流路は、前記横断路の中点から前記横断路と前記第2流路との接続箇所に近い側において前記横断路と接続されている、請求項1に記載の圧縮装置。
- 前記横断路と前記熱媒体外部流路との接続箇所から前記横断路と前記第2流路との接続箇所に遠い側の前記横断路の断面積は、前記横断路と前記熱媒体外部流路との接続箇所から前記横断路と前記第2流路との接続箇所に近い側の前記横断路の断面積よりも大きい、請求項1または2に記載の圧縮装置。
