以下、本発明の各実施形態について図面を参照して詳細に説明する。図1は、本発明の実施形態1に係るハイブリッド車両の駆動システムを示す骨子図である。
上記構成の駆動システムにおいては、次のギヤセッティング表に示すように、要素間クラッチCm、ロークラッチCl及びハイクラッチCh、直結クラッチCdを切り替えることで、第1速から第4速まで及びリバースのシフト段の切替えを行うことかできる。続いて、各シフト段について説明する。
図4は、各シフト段におけるエンジン回転速度と車速との関係を示すグラフである。図4において、第4速のプロット線は、第1電動機11を停止したときの関係を示し、パワースプリット領域Rspは、第1電動機11を回生運転させたときの、エンジン回転速度と車速との関係を示す。
図5は、各走行モードにおける車速と加速度(駆動力)との関係を示すグラフである。図5のEV1stとEV3rdは、第1速と第3速のシフト段でエンジンクラッチCeを切断して第1電動機11を力行運転した場合の最高出力特定を示す。HV1st、HV2nd、HV3rdは、第1速、第2速及び第3速のシフト段におけるパラレル方式の走行モードにおける最高出力特性を示す。SOC0_4thは、第4速のシフト段において第1電動機11で発電を行い、発電された電力でもう一方の駆動輪Rを駆動した場合の最高出力特性を示す。SOC0_Rrは、SOC0_4thの加速度のうち、第2電動機12が発生する駆動力の成分を示す。
図6は、本発明の実施形態2に係るハイブリッド車両の駆動システムを示す骨子図である。実施形態2に係るハイブリッド車両1Aの駆動システムは、主に、第1実施形態の駆動システムに、駆動軸29Fに動力伝達可能に連結された出力ギヤGm5、Gm6と、モータ伝達軸21と出力ギヤGm5、Gm6の回転軸とを連結可能な第2直結クラッチCd2とが追加されている。さらに、実施形態2に係る駆動システムは、実施形態1の構成からエンジンクラッチCeが省略されている。実施形態1と同様の構成要素については、同一符号を付して、詳細な説明を省略する。出力ギヤGm5、Gm6は本発明に係る第3ギヤセットの一例に相当する。第1直結クラッチCd1は本発明に係る第3クラッチの一例に相当する。第2直結クラッチCd2は本発明に係る第4クラッチの一例に相当する。
