Description
本実施形態に係る複合材接合体の製造方法では、第1複合材と第2複合材とを、コボンド法により接着させる。「コボンド法」とは、硬化後の成形品と未硬化のプリプレグとを一体硬化する技術である。従来の一般的な方法では、成形品とプリプレグとの間には接着フィルムを挿入するが、本実施形態では接着剤は挿入しない。
本実施形態では、まず、(S1)第1プリプレグを複数枚積層して第1プリプレグ積層体を形成し、(S2)第1プリプレグ積層体に、下地となる部材にシリコーンおよびフッ素が転写されない材料で構成された離型部材(非転写離型部材)を貼り付け、(S3)離型部材の上から第1プリプレグ積層体を第1バッグ材で覆い、(S4)第1バッグ材内を真空引きするとともに、第1プリプレグ積層体を加熱加圧して、第1プリプレグ積層体のマトリックス樹脂を硬化させて第1複合材を成形する。
離型部材は、下地となる部材にシリコーンおよびフッ素が転写されない材料で構成されている。離型部材の材料は、ポリオレフィン系樹脂、転写しないシリコーンフィルムあるいは転写しないフッ素フィルム等である。ここで「転写しない」とは、フィルムに含まれるシリコーンやフッ素が高分子量化(分子量2000以上)され、強固に結合されており、プリプレグ硬化時に移行しないことを示す。なお、転写するものはこれらの低分子量成分に由来するものが多い。
供試体1~4について、DCB(Double Cantilever Beam)試験を行った。モードI破壊じん性値(GIC)は、面積法にて算出した。
供試体2:ピールプライ,プラズマ処理なし,接着剤挿入なし
供試体3:ピールプライ,プラズマ処理なし,接着剤挿入あり
供試体4:母材(第1プリプレグ積層体および第2プリプレグ積層体を同時硬化),接着剤挿入なし
上記実施形態に従って複合材接合体を製造した。第1プリプレグおよび第2プリプレグには、一方向炭素繊維・エポキシ樹脂プリプレグを用いた。離型部材には、ポリオレフィン系離型フィルムを用いた。成形は、オートクレーブ法(180℃/2H)にて実施した。第1複合材の離型部材を貼り付けていた面は、大気圧プラズマ処理装置(FPE20 Type 2、株式会社Fuji製)にてプラズマ処理した。プラズマ処理後の表面自由エネルギーが60mN/m2以上となる条件で処理を実施した。
離型部材を、ポリエステル製のピールプライ(Peel ply 60001、Solvay社製)に置き換え、プラズマ処理を実施しなかったこと以外は、供試体1と同様に複合材接合体を製造した。
離型部材を、ポリエステル製のピールプライ(Peel ply 60001、Solvay社製)に置き換え、プラズマ処理を実施せず、第1複合材と第2複合材との間にエポキシ系フィルム接着剤(FM300-2M,Solvay社製)を挿入したこと以外は、供試体1と同様に複合材接合体を製造した。
コボンド法ではなく、コキュア法により複合材接合体を製造した。第1プリプレグ積層体および第2プリプレグ積層体の構成、およびそれらの成形は、供試体1と同様とした。第1複合材と第2複合材との間には接着剤を挿入しなかった。
図3に、本実施形態に係る複合材接合体の製造方法の手順を示す。本実施形態に係る複合材接合体の製造方法は、第1実施形態と同様、(S1)~(S11)の工程を備えている。本実施形態に係る複合材接合体の製造方法は、(S1)と(S2)との間に、第1プリプレグ積層体表面にある汚染物質を除去する工程(SS1)~(SS5)をさらに備えている。(S1),(S3)から(S11)は、第1実施形態と同様であるため、説明は省略する。
汚染物質を除去する工程では、(SS1)第1プリプレグ積層体の表面に、汚染物質を吸収可能な吸収体を貼付け、(SS2)吸収体の上から第1プリプレグ積層体を包装材で覆い、(SS3)包装材内を真空引きするとともに、第1プリプレグ積層体を第1プリプレグの硬化温度よりも低い温度で加熱した後、(SS4)包装材を取り外し、(SS5)吸収体を剥離する。
プリプレグ1の表面には、汚染物質2が存在する場合がある。そのような表面に、吸収体3を貼り付け(図4(A))、真空引きすることで、汚染物質2または汚染物質2を含んだマトリックス樹脂が吸収体3に染み込む(図4(B))。ここで、加熱を併用すると、プリプレグ1のマトリックス樹脂が軟化するため効率的に汚染物質2を吸収体3に染み込ませることができる(図4(B))。その後、吸収体3を剥がすことで、汚染物質2はプリプレグ1の表面から除去される(図4(C))。

Claims (4)
- 接着剤を使用せずに第1複合材と第2複合材とを接着させた複合材接合体の製造方法であって、
下地となる部材にシリコーンおよびフッ素が転写されない材料で構成された離型部材を貼り付けた第1プリプレグ積層体を硬化させて前記第1複合材を成形し、
前記第1複合材から前記離型部材を剥離した後、該離型部材が貼り付けられていた前記第1複合材の表面に極性官能基を付与する表面処理を施して該表面を活性化させ、
前記第1複合材の前記活性化させた表面に第2プリプレグ積層体を直接配置して、前記第2プリプレグ積層体を硬化させて、前記第1複合材に接合した前記第2複合材を成形する複合材接合体の製造方法。 - 前記表面処理は、プラズマ処理、コロナ処理または紫外線処理であり、前記第1複合材の前記表面に前記極性官能基を付与するプロセスである請求項1に記載の複合材接合体の製造方法。
- 前記第1複合材の前記活性化させた表面の表面自由エネルギーを60mN/m2超とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の複合材接合体の製造方法。
- 前記第1プリプレグ積層体の表面に、汚染物質を吸収可能な吸収体を貼付け、
前記吸収体の上から前記第1プリプレグ積層体を包装材で覆い、
前記包装材内を真空引きするとともに、前記第1プリプレグ積層体を第1プリプレグの硬化温度よりも低い温度で加熱した後、
前記包装材を取り外し、
前記吸収体を剥離し、
前記第1プリプレグ積層体の前記吸収体を剥離した表面に、前記離型部材を貼り付ける請求項1から請求項3のいずれかに記載の複合材接合体の製造方法。
