Description
-熱可塑性単層又は多層基材層(B)と、
-基材層(B)に直接接着している熱可塑性ヒートシール性層(A)と、
-ヒートシール性層(A)の表面に直接接着しており、基材層(B)に直接接着していない、疎水性酸化物ナノ粒子を含む無機コーティング層(C)と
を含み、
層(C)の前記疎水性酸化物ナノ粒子は、3~100nmの平均粒径を有し、0.01~10g/m2(乾燥後のグラム数)の量で存在し、
基材層(B)は、微粒子が混入されている層の総重量に対して計算された少なくとも1%の量で0.5~100ミクロンの平均粒径を有する微粒子を含むことを特徴とする、フィルムである。
i)熱可塑性のコーティングされていないフィルム(A)/(B)を提供することと、このフィルム(A)/(B)は、
-熱可塑性単層又は多層基材層(B)と、
-基材層(B)に直接接着している外側熱可塑性ヒートシール性層(A)と
を含み、
基材層(B)は、微粒子が混入されている層の総重量に対して計算された少なくとも1%の量の0.5~100ミクロンの平均粒径を有する微粒子を含む、
ii)熱可塑性のコーティングされていないフィルム(A)/(B)の基材層(B)に直接接着していないヒートシール性層(A)の表面を、3~100nmの平均粒径を有する疎水性酸化物ナノ粒子を含む無機コーティング組成物を塗布することによってコーティングすることと、
iii)塗布されたコーティングを乾燥させて、0.01~10g/m2(乾燥後のグラム数)の量で疎水性酸化物ナノ粒子を含む無機コーティング層(C)を形成することと
を含む製造方法である。
本明細書で使用する場合、「フィルム」という用語は、それがフィルムであるか、シートであるか、又はチューブであるかに関係なく、プラスチックウェブを含む。

ここで、層(A)はヒートシール性層であり、層(b)は単層の場合は基材層(B)であり、層(C)は超疎水性コーティング層であり、層(D)は結合層であり、層(E)は外側酷使層であり、層(F)は内側ガスバリア層であり、層(G)は剛性層であり、層(H)はバルク層である。
i)熱可塑性のコーティングされていないフィルム(A)/(B)を提供することと、このフィルム(A)/(B)は、
-熱可塑性単層又は多層基材層(B)と、
-基材層(B)に直接接着している外側熱可塑性ヒートシール性層(A)と
を含み、
基材層(B)は、微粒子が混入されている層の総重量に対して計算された少なくとも1%の量の0.5~100ミクロンの平均粒径を有する微粒子を含む、

を含む製造方法である。本発明のフィルムの製造方法は、最初に、コーティングされていないフィルム(A)/(B)を提供することを含み、このフィルム(A)/(B)は、

以下のフィルムを製造した。
比較フィルム及び本発明のフィルムを以下の試験に従って特性評価した。
上記のフィルムの静的水接触角をASTM D7490-13に従って測定した。
実施例2のコーティングフィルム(本発明による)及びコーティングフィルムC5のミルログ(Mill log)を、Dusenberyのスリッターで510mm幅のロールにスリットした。スリットロールを目視検査し、それらの品質は平面性及び端部断面の点で良好であった。次に、スリットロールをOnpack 2070装置で試験して、それらの機械加工性を検査した。両方のコーティングフィルムは良好に機能した。
各チューブサンプルの周囲に配置したフィルムC1、C2及びC3の3つの標本を切断し、両面接着テープでスライドガラスに取り付けた。C2は、疎水性コーティングのない実施例1のフィルムに対応する。C3は、疎水性コーティングのないC4フィルムに対応する。各標本から、2つのランダムな位置を白色光共焦点顕微鏡法(顕微鏡の対物レンズの倍率20倍)で画像化し、得られた高さマップをフィルター処理し(ノイズカットに続いて中央値)、平均化した。標準の二次元粗さ統計を、32の等間隔の水平断面に基づいて計算した。可視画像を高さマップに重ね合わせて三次元画像を作成した。
図2Bに示すように、実施例1の本発明のフィルムの一部であるコーティングされていないC2フィルムの粗面化された表面は、ISO4287に従って測定した約0.29μmの平均粗さ(平均粗度Ra)、約0.34μmの二乗平均平方根(RMS)粗さ(Rq)及び約1.81μmの平均粗さ深さ(Rz)を特徴とする。
比較フィルムC1、C4及び実施例1の本発明によるフィルムを使用して、実験室のGandus TSインパルスシーラーを使用してパウチ(250×460mm)を手動で製造した。
本発明のフィルムで製造した完成パッケージを開封するのに必要な力の評価のために、以下の内部標準手順を使用した。
-装置:インストロン5564
-開始時の顎の距離:2cm
-クロスヘッド速度:300mm/分、
-測定のために開封したシールの長さ:0.8cm。
比較フィルムC1及び実施例1の本発明によるフィルムを使用して、新鮮な牛肉片250~300gをそれぞれ真空バッグに包装した。最終パッケージでは、フィルムのヒートシール性表面は、包装された肉に直接接触しているバッグの内部表面であった。
Claims (26)
- 超疎水性コーティング熱可塑性多層包装フィルムであって、
-熱可塑性単層又は多層基材層(B)と、
-前記基材層(B)に直接接着している熱可塑性ヒートシール性層(A)と、
-前記ヒートシール性層(A)の表面に直接接着しており、前記基材層(B)に直接接着していない、疎水性酸化物ナノ粒子を含む無機コーティング層(C)と
を含み、
層(C)の前記疎水性酸化物ナノ粒子が、3~100nmの平均粒径を有し、0.01~10g/m2(乾燥後のグラム数)の量で存在し、
前記基材層(B)が、微粒子が混入されている層の総重量に対して計算された少なくとも1%の量で0.5~100ミクロンの平均粒径を有する前記微粒子を含み、及び
当該基材層(B)が、微粒子の総量に関して50重量%を超える量の前記微粒子を含み、
当該微粒子は、該微粒子が混入されている層の厚さよりも少なくとも20%大きい平均粒径を有する、
ことを特徴とする、フィルム。 - 前記ヒートシール性層(A)が、平均粒径が0.5ミクロンより大きいが、層(A)の重量に対して計算された1%未満、好ましくは0.5%未満の量の微粒子を含み、より好ましくはこれらの微粒子を全く含まない、請求項1に記載のフィルム。
- フィルムの前記ヒートシール性層(A)が、エチレン-酢酸ビニルコポリマー(EVA)、均質又は不均質の線状エチレン-アルファ-オレフィンコポリマー、ポリプロピレンコポリマー(PP)、エチレン-プロピレンコポリマー(EPC)、アクリレート、メタクリレート、イオノマー、ポリエステル及びそれらのブレンドから選択される主要量のポリマーを含む、請求項1又は2に記載のフィルム。
- 前記熱可塑性基材層(B)が、接着性樹脂と任意にブレンドされるポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、エチレンビニルアセテート(EVA)、イオノマー、ポリアミド、ポリエステルから選択される1種以上の熱可塑性樹脂を主要割合で含み、より好ましくはそれらからなる、単層(b)である、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載のフィルム。
- 前記熱可塑性基材層(B)が多層であり、前記ヒートシール性層(A)に直接接着している層のみが前記微粒子を含む、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載のフィルム。
- 前記ヒートシール性層(A)に直接接着している層が、ポリオレフィン及び改質ポリオレフィンから選択される1種以上のポリマーを主要割合で含み、好ましくはそれらからなる、請求項5に記載のフィルム。
- 前記微粒子が、5~80ミクロン、好ましくは10~60ミクロンの平均粒径を有する、請求項1~6のいずれか一項に記載のフィルム。
- 前記微粒子が、アクリル微粒子、シリカ微粒子、ケイ酸ホウ素微粒子、リン酸カルシウム微粒子、ステアリン酸カルシウム微粒子、ガラス微粒子及び木炭粉末から選択される、請求項1~7のいずれか一項に記載のフィルム。
- 前記微粒子の含有量が、前記微粒子が混入されている層の総重量に対して計算された、1~80%、好ましくは3~50%、より好ましくは15~35%である、請求項1~8のいずれか一項に記載のフィルム。
- 多層基材層(B)が内部ガスバリア層(F)を含む、請求項1~3又は5~9のいずれか一項に記載のフィルム。
- 前記コーティング層(C)が、0.1~5.0ミクロン、好ましくは0.2~4.0ミクロン、より好ましくは1.0~2.5ミクロンの厚さを有する、請求項1~10のいずれか一項に記載のフィルム。
- 前記無機コーティング層(C)の疎水性酸化物ナノ粒子が、5~50nm、好ましくは5~20nmの平均粒径を有する、請求項1~11のいずれか一項に記載のフィルム。
- 前記無機コーティング層(C)の疎水性酸化物ナノ粒子が、シリカ、アルミナ、マグネシア、チタニア及びそれらの混合物から選択される、請求項1~12のいずれか一項に記載のフィルム。
- 層(A)に直接接着していない前記無機コーティング層(C)の表面が、ASTM D7490-13に従って測定した、130°より大きい、好ましくは140°より大きい、より好ましくは150°より大きい、さらにより好ましくは160°より大きい水接触角を有する、請求項1~13のいずれか一項に記載のフィルム。
- 請求項1~14のいずれか一項に記載の超疎水性コーティング熱可塑性多層包装フィルムの製造方法であって、前記製造方法が、
i)熱可塑性のコーティングされていないフィルム(A)/(B)を提供することと、前記フィルム(A)/(B)は、
-熱可塑性単層又は多層基材層(B)と、
-前記基材層(B)に直接接着している外側熱可塑性ヒートシール性層(A)と
を含み、
前記基材層(B)が、微粒子が混入されている層の総重量に対して計算された少なくとも1%の量の0.5~100ミクロンの平均粒径を有する前記微粒子を含む、
ii)前記熱可塑性のコーティングされていないフィルム(A)/(B)の前記基材層(B)に直接接着していない前記ヒートシール性層(A)の表面を、3~100nmの平均粒径を有する疎水性酸化物ナノ粒子を含む無機コーティング組成物を塗布することによってコーティングすることと、
iii)前記塗布されたコーティングを乾燥させて、0.01~10g/m2(乾燥後のグラム数)の量で疎水性酸化物ナノ粒子を含む無機コーティング層(C)を形成することと
を含む、製造方法。 - 前記ヒートシール性層(A)の表面のコーティング(ii)が、疎水性酸化物の含有量が10~100g/lである前記無機コーティング組成物を塗布することによって行われる、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記ヒートシール性層(A)の表面のコーティング(ii)が、前記無機コーティング組成物を4~50g/m2(湿潤グラム数)の量で塗布することによって行われる、請求項15又は16に記載の方法。
- 前記コーティング組成物の溶媒が、水、アルコール及びそれらの混合物から選択される、請求項15~17のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 製品を導入するための少なくとも1つの開口部を有する、請求項1~14のいずれか一項に記載のフィルムから製造された包装用物品であって、前記フィルムの無機コーティング層(C)が、前記物品の最内側層である、包装用物品。
- シームレスチューブ又はフレキシブル容器である、請求項19に記載の包装用物品。
- パウチ又はバッグの形態、好ましくは非熱収縮性パウチ又は熱収縮性バッグの形態の、請求項20に記載のフレキシブル容器。
- 請求項1~14のいずれか一項に記載のフィルムと製品とを含む密封パッケージであって、前記フィルムが前記製品を密封し、前記製品と接触する前記パッケージの表面が前記フィルムの無機コーティング層(C)である、密封パッケージ。
- 前記製品が食品である、請求項22に記載のパッケージ。
- 前記パッケージが真空にされ、収縮され、前記製品が新鮮な肉である、請求項22又は23に記載のパッケージ。
- 前記パッケージが非収縮性パウチであり、前記製品が高粘性又は粘着性の食品である、請求項22又は23に記載のパッケージ。
- 製品を包装するための、好ましくは食品を包装するための、請求項1~14に記載のフィルムの使用。
